RD 1, Pick 16: Tremaine Edmunds OLB - Virginia Tech

Looking at the Vander Esch he appears slim. I will take Edmunds size and speed. -

They basically swapped a third for a fifth to get maybe the steal of the first round. I will take this all dang day. This pick address a huge area of need. Thank you Tyrod. -

RD1, Pick 7: Josh Allen QB - Wyoming

This goes in the area of trusting the coaches and Beane. They all have talked to Allen and understand him way more than me. I will admit Allen was the QB I wanted least of the ‘4’ . I will cheer my butt of for Allen and cut him a ton of slack. He will need time to develop. Thrilled Beane kept is 22 pick. -
HERE WE GO! GIANTS looking to TRADE DOWN
atlbillsfan1975 replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is what i said in my original post in this thread. The team looking to trade back in the draft will most likely call the Bills before finalizing any deals due to the fact the Bills have the most to give in return. -
HERE WE GO! GIANTS looking to TRADE DOWN

I need to disagree with you here. I think teams are very much so auctioning off their picks to highest bidder. It is like any other purchase and negotiation, as things got down to the end people will make moves. Their are GM's waiting to see what other teams. Picks 2-6 are in play. Beane is most likely playing one off the other all day today. -
HERE WE GO! GIANTS looking to TRADE DOWN

I hear this a lot. The odds that any team has four quarterbacks rated the same or even very close is very slim to non existent. The Bills in particular have one guy they would absolutely move up to get, even giving away the 2 firsts this year and another high pick this year or next. -
HERE WE GO! GIANTS looking to TRADE DOWN

Do not blink yet. This is the kind of rumor which can help teams looking to move up. If i am a GM i am making the Bills my last phone call before i make any trade out of the top 6. -
The GM for the Browns would be wise to drop back and pick up more picks later in the round. This draft is deep at quality but lacking superstars ( besides possibly a couple QB's). Chubb is a solid edge rusher but their are holes in his game. Barkley is a great running back, taking one of those in the top 5 is not the best value for Cleveland. Find three starters in the first round and three starters in the second. If Cleveland wants to turn themselves around they need to take Darnold at 1 and then trade with the Bills or another team holding 2 first round picks this year. I do not want Cleveland to take Darnold because i want him for Buffalo, but that is a different topic for a different thread.

Stud running backs all over this draft

Michel has some of the same type of game as Kamara. Chubb from UGA would be a good change of pace back from Shady. -
I don’t agree with this totally. If on draft night 1-4 go the way the Bills like I expect them to make the move up. There is zero chance the Bills have the same grade on the 4 quarterbacks that we on here believe to be first round picks. Beane May or may not of made a play for the second pick. If after the Jets pick the quarterback the Bill like the most is still there, they will do everything they can to get him.

I'm starting to think the QB Class is Overhyped
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am really interested to see what the Teams think on Thursday. Fans and media have all weighed in causing us to think there are 4 QB’s worthy of a top ten pick. Just like any pick the fit will help determine the outcome . One staff can have more success with certain QB than another. -
Would you use Shady as trade bait?

What about the second round? -
You did a good bit of work there OP. Thanks for the input. Allen is the most intriguing prospect for me. I really don’t want the Bills to draft him. I’d rather take any of the other 3 QB’s in the first. Taking Allen is based on glimpses of possible potential, Allen doesn’t have the complete body of work.

Good college player, great attitude. He does have a game limitation. 5 round or lower would be good value. -
Probable QB Drop based on rumors
atlbillsfan1975 replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was having this discussion last night with a few other Bills fans. It will be interesting to see if teams have the QB’s as high as we do. I think the fact that there is also no more than 10 other outstanding players is pushing the QB’s higher up. -
He signed the deal. He is now throwing blame on his agents with the firing . Richie has been in the league for years. He has appeared to be well spoken and intelligent. I do not really feel good about saying this, I do question where he is at mentally and emotionally. Richie seems to be making decisions he regrets soon there after. That is honestly not something I would expect out of a veteran like him. Richie taking this to SM is very poor taste. I can see how Richie could turn this into the Bills being a bully and forcing him to play under a deal he doesn’t see fair. The deal being fair or not was something Richie needed to discuss with the Bills before signing it. Ultimately Richie made a choice, it appears he doesn’t like his choice now . Going about vocalizing his displeasure this way will put the Bill on the defensive and not help things move to a productive place initially.
