  1. It’s a nice mention and a sign of bright things to come. Now, if Singletary stays healthy and gets 15+ touches a game next year, I could see him get offensive player of the year nomination.
  2. Nailed it. Does Jackson change the plays ever himself at the LOS? I can’t recall seeing it in the 4-5 games I watched of his this year. Wish we had Baltimore fans on here like we have Pats fans.
  3. That’s not really the case anymore. Slowly but surely it’s making a comeback. I think the Bills moving the stadium to the city and on the waterfront could really speed that up and revitalize the entire city.
  4. I’m fine with that if Beane thinks it’s the right pick. I like Beanes style for drafting. Beane goes into the draft with targets and then figures out how to get them as the draft evolves.
  5. They schemes around what he was poor at. Passing to wide receivers on the outside and also wide outs who were not ‘open’. I have asked this before and still have not received an answer from anyone. Did Lamar audible at the LOS? I don’t recall seeing it against the Bills or the other games I watched him play in, Pats, Tenn, or SF.
  6. Also LSU was not afraid to flex him out to a wideout in certain circumstances. kid can catch too.
  7. Never break the law while breaking the law!
  8. Was the Church asking the Saints how to cover up a story? If so, I don’t think the Saints would be the team I would seek advice from. They should of reached out to the Pats for that!!
  9. Silly competition which doesn’t show much. Lamar will most likely say he was having fun and didn’t really care. The narrative of Lamar isn’t his physical talent, it is his emotional and intellectual intelligence. I hope Lamar can prove me wrong, but I don’t think he can improve on what he did last year. While I do believe defensive coordinators will be able to draw up plans to stop him. The NFL is a league of constant adjustments.
  10. I think that is where it takes a special breed of people to be law enforcement. You can’t break a law and a code you swear to uphold because another person commits a despicable act. Hard to do, and not sure I could do it. Anyone who wears a gun to work to protect the rest of us deserves our respect first. The bad ones will hopefully get filtered out quickly.
  11. He put the dagger in Alabama’s back. Good back, strong but has high end speed. He will probably be a second or third round pick.
  12. I am a big time supporter of police. That was ridiculous. Unless there is another angle showing him resisting somehow, everyone one of those officers who struck him, should be fired. They don’t have the temperament for the job.
  13. Thank you! This is on mom and dad, we took the little guy to Tahoe for one last trip before mom goes back to work. Funny, he can cry for hours and smile for a split second and it makes everything ok. Kids are the best!
  14. What do you think about Periman or Sharpe?
  15. Yep. I think the only difference is a team that is up against the cap, likes it’s roster and feels it needs more cap to re-sign it’s own players about to hit FA. Look at the Falcons, I bet they would gladly trade away the extra second round pick they got from NE for maybe $10 mil in cap space. Falcons have a few players they would like to re-sign but only have $6 mil in space. Am I on the right path in the logic behind trading picks for cap?
  16. Ok, let me clarify. I had to cut short my post because my 5 month old started screaming. The similarities begin and end with making two big signings. The difference is, I know Beane isn’t signing a running back and MLB to $35 mil in contracts. Those are absolutely positions you find value at in draft picks. I love the difference between the way the Bills and Jets approaches FA last year. Bills brought in a ton of new players and gave most of them very team friendly deals. These players were all tier 2 FA except Morse who got a typical FA contract for a tier 1 player. Even that contract though was for a position of need and a position of importance. Beane has left himself with a ton of opportunities for this offseason. I think he will go after a DE in FA. I don’t know if I see Beane spending $35 mil on two players outside of the organization. I could see him doing something similar to last year. One tier 1 FA and then another round of tier 2 FA’s. By the draft there is no glaring need but upgrades can be had with picks in the first 3 rounds. My post wasn’t very clear. sorry.
  17. Sounds like how Cleveland runs it’s organization.
  18. Agreed. He is in. Doesn’t hurt he played for New York either.
  19. What you are describing, 2 superstars for $35 mil, made me think of what the Jets did last offseason with Bell and Mosley. I think the difference between the Jets last year and the Bills this year is how the Bills approached FA last year.
  20. That trainer must not know AB’s history. AB has established a history of not paying people for performing services!
  21. Gotta disagree on second half strategy. The Titans panicked after going down 28-17 and threw the ball three straight downs. Punted the ball back to KC and then the game was over. You keep running Henry. The second half is when he breaks one for a big gain. He wears down teams.
  22. I’m glad I have been luck enough to attend 3 Super Bowls, not sure I could justify those prices.
  23. Always with a good take on these types of circumstances. The part about Gaines getting fired, is that you contacting dots or has there been some reporting on that? I like your take on FA and draft. Beane will know what’s what with Clowney, if he is available and they want to offer him a deal, I’m cool with it. Beane and McDermott deserve the benefit of the doubt when it come to the defensive side of the ball. Can anyone Name me one bad signing they have made on defense?
  24. I don’t believe in taking LB or RB in the first unless it is a priority need and the talent available is a generational player. That why I phrased as OLB/Edge. Basically a player who can play three downs and get to the QB.
