  1. I get what you are saying, but I just don’t see it working. I think the mental edge the Pats possessed will be gone without Belichick and Brady. I really think in 2 years Belichick will be gone and the Pats will be in full blown rebuild.
  2. This brings up an interesting issue. The Pats have for years benefited from Brady being the QB and getting the ball out quick. With it looking more and more like Brady won’t be back, or if he is not as good, the Pats will need to find a different approach. I have heard the theory that the Pats will plug another QB in and be just the same. I don’t think it’s going to be that easy. If it was wouldn’t that devalue Brady’s legacy?
  3. I can picture him, Sammie, and McCoy discussing each of their departures from Buffalo and rewriting history. None of them probably listening to the other, just using the time to make themselves feel better. Haha
  4. Very sad. Cancer is awful. I remember watching Doleman growing up as a Vike.
  5. I agree that the Bills won’t overpay for him. anything to hurt the Pats.
  6. Drive up the price so either Pats overpay and hurts them with other signings or he leaves which hurts the Pats too.
  7. This interview is exactly why McCoy needed to go.
  8. Kind of my thought, one early and one development or injury risk guy with high ceiling late. Look for Lawrence Cager out of UGA to maybe be a late guy.
  9. Seriously. Tired of fans from other teams coming on this board. You ever notice it’s only when they are winning? They some how think they are smarter at football because their team is successful. I bet we don’t see a ton of Pats fans here next year when they are down. only exception is Icebowl. That guy is a decent poster and always very complimenting to the Bills.
  10. ? or Russell Wilson or Gronk ... I think we are finally finding the right players for the system or HC wants. Beane and McDermott working together very well.
  11. Looks like it took 1 minute more! ? This was a phenomenal draft. This is the type of draft the Bills need to have every year. There was holes to fill and they got filled with very good prospects. Getting four starters for a team that was 6-10 is perfect. This draft I can see adding 2-3 starters depending on what is done in FA.
  12. Could do a lot worse as a HC than Arians. Bruce is a great HC. Love listening to that guy talk.
  13. Oh I agree with that. These mocks are great for learning about players that might be available. Heck up until a months ago I didn’t know who Shenault was. I have already started paying attention to more college players since the end of the Bills season. I have been able to focus on players with the help of mocks and Locked On pod cast. Joe does a great job on Locked On Bills of breaking down possible players. A couple of variables will move people around on boards. FA being a big one.
  14. Your smugness almost makes me not want to root for Andy. Almost.
  15. We lost a good one when he left. He was the main reason I first came on here. Glad he is still doing his thing thou.
  16. Correct. It’s also to early for any of these to be very accurate.
  17. Lamar has peaked and Allen is getting better and will continue to get better. As a Bills fan I want that to happen. As someone who has watched and been around football for a long time I know that. I have asked repeatedly if Lamar can audible at the LOS. Nobody can answer me that. I am beginning to think he has not or does so very infrequently.
  18. Ok, so you are a fan and watch him. Does he change plays at the line of scrimmage on his own when he see what the D is running?
  19. Thank you for the intel. Love his size, but it’s not enough to be big he has got to play big.
  20. I was talking about how good defenses would know how to contain him. Tenn, sent him home again without a playoff win. Not sure he will ever get one.
  21. I am interested in what Beane thinks of Gandy-Golden. Kid looks big, fast, and good hands.
  22. Time will definitely tell the store, it always does. I have been very right about Jackson to this point. Roman didn’t develop Tyrod anymore than what he was. Same with Kap. Those guys have ceilings as passers.
  23. I think those are already happening. i think you also have to retain your population. Can’t have kids going to college and never coming back. Or keep college kids who grad from UB and Buff State in Buffalo. I am not saying a stadium will solve everything but a happening downtown can attract more corporations.
  24. I agree. I think Baltimore looks at Jackson as get everything you can out of him now. They are not trying to develop him. They brought in coaches to play to his strengths and minimize his weaknesses. Basically the opposite of what the Bills are doing with Allen.
  25. I am not sold on taking a wide receiver with the first two picks. I do want one early and then another one late. One guy I am keeping an eye on is Lawrence Cager out of UGA. Cager transferred from Miami and had an up and down year with UGA due to injuries. He is 6’5 220. I want to see how he runs since a late season ankle injury. Cager is a day three UFA with a ton of potential.
