Versatility- McBeane loves it. Short mock based on it

I just am not a Chasson fan. He scares me as having a high bust potential. -
I’m fine with the Tre and Dion numbers. Think Dion might be a little low. The Milano numbers just rub me the wrong way. Not saying it doesn’t happen but $12.5 mil is steep. Not to mention how much is Edmunds going to get? $14-15 mil? That’s a good bit of cap locked up in linebacker. I also think a smaller linebacker good in coverage and average in run stopping could be easier to find in the draft in rounds 3-5. Not hating on Milano, but looking at the big picture of who needs to stay. Milano also doesn’t strike me as one of the outstanding leaders for the defense. Milano might be the silent leader type, interested to see if he steps up this year with Alexander gone.

Bills create a “Nickel Coach” position

Interesting. The first thing I thought of was moves like this on the defensive side of the ball could be designed to help free Sean up to oversee the entire team. Also help with Sean’s game day presence during the game. -
Injuries fall in two categories for me for the most part . Ones that can heal and have no lasting affects like a broken bone. Others that have the ability to become lingering issues. The turf toe and torn labrum concern me. I haven’t done as much research on the ostetis pubis issue, but it too sounds like something that can reoccur. Shenault May go on to a 15 year career and be amazing. Or he could end up like Watkins. Watkins has always been a 2/3 wr with tons of play making ability but can’t put it all together for one reason or the other. Personally I am cheering for Laviskis. Kid has been through enough.

Chase Claypool- I know you want to talk about him

Then I feel for whoever picks Chaisson. My gut says he isn’t going to be a stud. Ceiling for him is Vic Beasley. Claypool is so intriguing! Trust Beanes analysis and value. Measurable make you think he is a top ten pick. -

I think I agree with you. I believe Beane and McDermott are going to let FA and the draft decide what happens to Ford’s position for next year. I think the draft will be a bigger determiner. If a RT prospect falls to the third that Beane had graded higher, Beane might pick him. Even then though, I bet we don’t hear Ford has been moved to guard. This allows players to develop and see where someone sticks without expectation. -

I like this thought process. You have a few names to keep an eye on? Is there another ‘Feliciano’ type of player for either RT or swing tackle? -

Sounds like You should of been a football player.? -
Dawkins is everything you want out of a player in the locker room and off the field. I think if Beane can find him a constant solid left guard to play beside, Dawkins will be a solid to good LT for years to come. It’s not coincidence that Dawkins disappointing season came when the entire line was in shambles. Yes, pay him and move on.
