  1. I have to agree. A classic Biffalo establishment. Near where JP lived. You can show your wife why JP thought the city was so cool.
  2. I can't believe we were once in the playoffs.
  3. Blowout garbage yards aside he does seem to be hitting holes a lot faster rather than waiting behind the line of scrimmage or trying to run wide as in the past.. In quarter 1, I was sure that it was Freddie who took the handoff when it was on fact spiller. It took him a while but he seems to have learned a great deal about nfl running from Freddie.
  4. At the very least Chan coulld concoct a package for T jackson that could win a few games before the whole league figures it out and makes them look silly for trying.
  5. Great wingspan range too. But with fitz being so accurate who needs it.
  6. Better than I expected. We need Fred to take carries from spiller so we don't have to pay for a 1400 yd/yr back.
  7. We all understand that spiller has become a better back. But we needed a healthy Freddie to limit spillers stats. Do you want to pay for a 900 yd/yr back or a 1400yd/yr back when spiller's contract is up. When was the last time you saw the pats pay for a 1000yd/yr back.
  8. Watching rg3 have a better performance in his first game ever than any bills qb in a decade. Including a game clinching completion in traffic. On the road against the saints was what stung the most today.
  9. Our stadium should be the cheapest around to do a great upgrade - the reason is that per its unique design the middle height of the stadium is at ground level - you could build a Walden Galleria of amenities on the ground right next to the stadium if you wanted to accessible to everyone.
  10. Traffic on this site seems down in the whole. Is another message board taking over?
  11. The adjustment for the second jets game was pleasing. But chan and fitz had no answer for most of last year.
  12. This was done in the 60s http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Playoff_Bowl#section_3
  13. Having rebuilding teams do it will be the norm. It has to help somewhat in expanding the fan base as selling merchandise. But it won't help you win games. So the only way you want to do it is if you have already written off that particular season.
  14. Granted brad smith LOOKS slow. That's why it looks wierd when he beats nfl defenses to the edge every single time on third and medium.
  15. No one in this team even has good hands. Chandler may have the best and his are average. This is likely the most drop prone team in the league. Look at Haggans drop today. We don't even consider that a drop because by the standard that has been set it was an impossible catch.
  16. The savvy vet came off the sideline cold and was our best corner for the few games he played last year. You bet he would be signed even for a few games of productivity by a playoff team with a corner injury or two. In particular Perry Fewell's D.
  17. Best remembered for their Bills anthem "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction"
  18. Has anyone pointed out in this thread that in 2007 at this time of the year, the Bills looked like geniuses for drafting a relatively unheralded QB for great value in the third round who lit it up in preseason (completing 75.4 % of passes, 99.9 rating)?
  19. The problem with the building the lines up first model is that it's hard to suck enough to draft a franchise qb.
  20. All I have been reading about is how our linebackers are the weak link on D. Now it's the secondary?
  21. I like the graph. It looks cool and solidifies the impression that you know what you ate taking about.
  22. Wilson threw a lot of balls up for grabs in the game I saw and it's not clear he can make all the throws. Throws a lot of floaters into zone coverage. Could be a matter of tone before GE had a 4 pick performance. Graham has looked ever bit of a 3rd round pick in terms of polish. I gave been pleasantly surprised.
  23. This offseason is not nearly as bad as 09 when we dealt our starting LT and then fired our OC a week before the season started - that worked out okay, we put together a strong of road wins mid year to get into the playoff race and ended up with six big wins (so my expectations have become somewhat deflated).
  24. What is it with competent often pro bowl QBs "hitting the wall" in the current NFL seemingly overnight with apparent years of shelf life left. Culpepper, Delhome, Mcnabb, Garrard, Young. In the old NFL it would take many years of steady decline for a vet signal caller to be rendered useless.
  25. Lankster looked good in preseason a few years ago and took up a roster spot for 2 or 3 years.
