  1. I like the graph. It looks cool and solidifies the impression that you know what you ate taking about.
  2. Wilson threw a lot of balls up for grabs in the game I saw and it's not clear he can make all the throws. Throws a lot of floaters into zone coverage. Could be a matter of tone before GE had a 4 pick performance. Graham has looked ever bit of a 3rd round pick in terms of polish. I gave been pleasantly surprised.
  3. This offseason is not nearly as bad as 09 when we dealt our starting LT and then fired our OC a week before the season started - that worked out okay, we put together a strong of road wins mid year to get into the playoff race and ended up with six big wins (so my expectations have become somewhat deflated).
  4. What is it with competent often pro bowl QBs "hitting the wall" in the current NFL seemingly overnight with apparent years of shelf life left. Culpepper, Delhome, Mcnabb, Garrard, Young. In the old NFL it would take many years of steady decline for a vet signal caller to be rendered useless.
  5. Lankster looked good in preseason a few years ago and took up a roster spot for 2 or 3 years.
  6. I see Roosevelt as the least likely to be signed by any other team. He's small and not fast. His major value to the Bills is that he has been in the system for years. He does not bring that value to any other team. The Pats like small guys but they are always fast. Roosevelt is also fairly redundant to Jones who is also smallish (but not as small) and is also not fast. Roosevelt essentially expands the Bills roster to 54 players since he is un-signable by any other GM. He can be (and has been over and over) exposed to free agency whenever convenient for the Bills. Easley and Aiken with substantial upsides as big physical targets are much more likely to be signed by other teams.
  7. Unitus was the first franchise qb. His performance from the late 50s for more than a decade was remarkable. In some of those years his stats would have put him in the pro bowl in the receiver coddled era. Ha had a plus Td to interception ratio when his receivers were being clocked with the ball in the air.
  8. Um, the Giants.
  9. Sometimes its only a matter of time (and having the opportunity to do nothing but practice kicking for 10 hours a day) for a kicker to develop into an NFL ready FG kicker. Potter may not be ready to take over FG kicking right now. But another possible plus to keeping him is that we may be developing the team's FG kicker for the next decade.
  10. Nothing kills the momentum of having scored like a long return. Potter helps keep the momentum after a score. He also helps reduce injuries.
  11. I think Potter makes it ahead of Ruvell Martin. Yes I know they play different positions. Martin made it as a special teamer last year. Not needed this year. Potter has kicked Martin off the team.
  12. I purchased the preseason game viewing package from NFL.com. I have to say its nice to buy software from a powerhouse like the NFL. Everything worked without any glitches. I think it cost me 20 bucks for all the games. I made my purchase like 5 minutes before kickoff when there had to be a million simultaneous hits on the server. Somehow my order was processed instantly and I was watching the feed within minutes.
  13. Just remember that Trent Edwards and Spiller tore it up in preseason two years ago. If I remember, Fitz and the O could do nothing last year in preseason and started great. I look at the preseason as an opportunity for individuals to make plays. Unfortunately we do not have anyone to chuck it up to any one of our ten 6.2 230 receivers so that that they could distinguish themselves from one another.
  14. He seemed to be in the play for a high percentage of plays he was on the field
  15. By being out if the league will he be occupying defenders and opening things up for Stevie?
  16. Would be nice if we had someone who could throw one up somewhere so tha Aiken had a chance to make a play.
  17. You mean where graham refused to go after that ball over the middle in order to avoid a hit.
  18. Our QBs are so bad we have no way of knowing what we have at receiver.
  19. The reason is we had no franchise qb hopeful on the bench. It's okay to have a weak armed game managing running qb backing up when you are a Super Bowl contender. When you are not a super bowl contender you need a big armed franchise qb hopeful as the second string qb.
  20. Would rather have Mcnabb than young. He's in shape and may be primed for a revival. Has a delivery and wind driving ball flight very similar to kelly.
  21. actually they went 11-5. One of a very few teams to go 11-5 and miss the playoffs.
  22. I liked when Tannenhill was saying how great their receivers are - he said they have no question marks at receiver.
  23. How do you respond to individual posts?
