Compared to the worst days of Edwards and Losman this offense is a juggernaut. We get mad at Fitz because he cannot make the throw. But at least he often calls the right protection and gets us in the perfect play (which he unfortunately fails to execute). Edwards/Losman could not call the right protections or get us in the right play.
I think the throwing in the towel was a week early. Hanging with the Texans for 3 quarters makes beating the pats better than impossible. Confusing as well since chan keeps his job with 7 maybe 6 wins.
The only thing I know about politics is that it claimed our emerging 26 year old starting right tackle. Irritates me to this day. Could have been developing some linebackers if he stayed.
Nothing stabilizes a franchise like winning big. Best example the NJ Devils. As good as gone then became a dynasty primarily by instituting a change in the way the game is played.
It's even worse when you consider this is the second Londion game in 4 years for the pats and they were the designated visitor in the earlier game as well!!!! Amazing.
You can't beat a true open air stadium. I can't stand these bogus retractable stadiums. They never open the roof and all you get is a racing stripe. Build a Hines Field for 300M. We don't need the trophy room so we can build it for less.
Fitz is horrible but we've actually seen worse here. RJ set the all time NFL sacks per drop back record. Trent Edwards still checked it down with three defenders sitting on the check down. If fitz can't get the ball there when a play breaks wide open at least be happy he audibled to the right play and called the right protection.
I thought Hairston was Nix's best ever selection as a serviceable plus tackle gotten in a mid round. That was until the Glenn pick. Watching Arizona try to pass protect highlighted how key those picks were.
