Polian mentioned on ESPN late last week that there were questions about Kalil's weight. He showed up at the combine 305 which is on the small side these days and combine weight is always temporary weight not real weight for guys that need to bulk up He played college in the 290s. With polians comment this post is the second sign I've seen on the past few days that Kalil may be slipping.

"path to the draft" is the lamest name I have ever seen for a sports show. Path doesn't even really rhyme with draft. Also no one uses the term "path" in the context of football. why not call it "on the clock". Even "the scouting report" would be better. NFL radio has some creative names for its shows. Late hits. The opening drive. path to the draft is just embarrassing.

That was really the best team in franchise history except for one thing. It happened to be the single injury year of the franchise's best all time player. The skins were dominant that year but it's still a little difficult to accept that their dominance resulted from a career journeyman qb stepping out his body for a year.

Since the Bills seem to targeting name players with chronic major injuries maybe they should give Sanders' agent a call. Seems to fit the profile the Bills are looking for perfectly. Really big name. Really injured. Imagine this line up: Williams, Williams, Merriman, Sanders. Maybe they could platoon Sanders and Merriman, Sanders could suit up for two games, and Merriman two games and they could get 4 games out of big name pro bowlers. On the O line they should target Chad Clifton and scope out the rest of the 07 pro bowl roster for other big names with impressive injury records.

How about a bunch of decent players who stay healthy all the time.

If josh skobey can make the switch from kick returner to place kicker I don't see what's so outlandish about brown's move to the tackle slot. With his experience at the qb position, brown has a good understanding of all the protection schemes and just needs to bulk up a bit. When skobey (who was just franchised by the way) switched to placekicker he had to learn all about kick coverages along with learning how to kick.

You actually need to expand the league at the same time you add mid weak games The league tried the 2 bye system in the early 90s with a 28 team league and there was a public revolt since each week's schedule of games was tangibly diluted.
