  1. Past hour
  2. A long time ago, I owned a Mustang. I loved that car. It looked sharp and was a manual shift. It lasted many years past when I should have let it go. When I finally junked it, my mechanic commented that it was well past time. I still remember that '74 Mustang fondly.
  3. well said... there are no 'dream teams" to be built with today's cap
  4. Couldn't agree more. Guys like him have the talent, but don't really love the game. I imagine at some point it stopped being fun for them. I think they get burnt out from the grind from Pop Warner to now.
  5. If Cook plays like he did last season or gets better, we probably have just this year and next year left with him. Davis we have for the next four. So if he shows some promise and development by the end of next year, he could be our Starter in Year 3 & 4. If Beane's smart, he won't pay big money to a RB and will continue to Draft them in the mid to late Rounds, use them in their prime and then replace them. Then compliment them with cheaper, older RB's that still have some kick in them (like Gore and Murray) and cheaper, under the radar Backs with upside (like Ty).
  6. The Bills acquired Claypool for nothing. If he's a locker room problem, they can cut him in an instant. Not so for a rookie WR drafted in the first round. Please tell me you understand the difference... Almost everything you just said about the Bears organization has to do with the previous regime. As for this regime, they swung and missed on Fields; big deal, at least they took a shot at QB with upside; I still think he can be a decent NFL QB. They robbed Carolina last year and ended up with a WR1, a starting left tackle and the first overall pick in this year's draft. I'm not a Caleb Williams fan either, but most consider him the most talented college QB in the past four or five years. We'll see how that turns out, but surely they didn't "reach". The Bears also came out of the draft with an absolute stud rookie WR for Williams to throw to. And the widely panned Montez Sweat trade has turned out really well. Sweat turned around their defense last year after the trade and the now have a young, premium edge rusher in exchange for a second round pick.
  7. Getting closer to that episode of Southpark.
  8. Not making an argument for anyone just trying to add a little humor to a board full of doom and gloomers, you must be hyper sensitive my apologies
  9. Who were drafted in the first two rounds?
  10. Kincaid, Shakir and Samuel are underneath separators. Coleman is not that. Having that as a prominent role they need someone behind him. Imo Hollins is the Sherfield or kumerow spot. Special teamer but offers something as a wr. Claypool, Shorter and Shavers are battling for a spot behind Coleman.
  11. Oh, I think he will be at 85+. I’m not arguing that he will be thrown the ball more. He needs those targets. I was just saying that, “he didn’t have volume last year.” He didn’t. If he can be as productive on double the targets, he will be a really good player.
  12. It's clear some fans are going to hate this pick no matter what. They wanted a speed guy and didn't get him so no matter what Coleman does he is the wrong guy.
  13. We have a few young receivers from last season that might help. Sometimes it's those type players that have an impact, not the first year players.
  14. He also had 12 in 2 playoff games. Multiple games he had 6 targets. If he averages 6 targets a game thats 100. I do not think it is an unreasonable amount. Projection yes. Something Buffalo wants to explore more? Yes.
  15. So... character concerns are top of mind for the Bills with the WR? How do you explain "locker room cancer" Claypool signing? Good one! And it's difficult for me to believe the bolded part is a serious question. They are a horribly run franchise....for years. they have played 4 playoff games in the last 18 years, one win. They have just spent 3rd 1st round pick in the past 7 drafts on a QB. They traded 4 picks to move up 1 spot to get Trubisky--a guy who no one was going to pick at #3. They overdrafted Fields and then tossed him to the curb after 3 seasons....for a 6th round pick! No they lunged for Caleb Williams, a guy who many question his maturity, because they had to. Outside of the Browns and the Jags, how can you argue that the Bears aren't the worst run franchise in the NFL? You were joking right??
  16. Eddie Murphy doing his Jackie Gleason/Ralph Kramden but ... I know that you know that you know that I know ...
  17. It's not comical. Nacua set the gauntlet record and Coleman beat it this year, so there is your answer.
  18. so this is your running joke for the season then?
  19. I'll be closing this poll tonight, but it looks like unless there's a late push, $79.89 at Macy's may just be the answer.
  20. I think it’s all useless to be honest, good or bad, especially the 40 times.. irrelevant, but if we’re going to use the results of any particular drill to form an opinion, we must agree upon the purpose of the drill and staying in bounds is not the primary objective.
  21. It all comes down to quarterback play. If your QB plays great in the playoffs you are going to win more times than not.
