Bills sign Chase Claypool, Smoot, Jones
ColoradoBills replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
LOL. You think Brandon Beane's "life strategy" is dependent on Chase Claypoole's career outcome in Buffalo? Claypoole has been a "knucklehead". He's down to his last chance in his NFL career. No one is waiting on him, the choice is his. FTR, I have known many family members and friends who changed their life ways in their middle 20s. The only one who knows what kind of effort Chase Claypoole will put in is Chase. -
Hi, Looking to sell the majority of my season tickets for the upcoming season. Tickets are located in section 113, row 7 and are the first two seats on the aisle. I'm looking to get to one game during the season (in Sept or Oct) and happy to work with you on what game it is once the schedule is out later this month. Looking for my invoiced cost of $3100 minus the cost of the game I select. First right on any playoff tickets as well. Let me know if any questions. Thanks!

These videos do reveal some of "the process," sugary baked goods included. We only get to see the parts that they want us to see or that they can let us see (we probably can't see comments about players taken by other teams, for instance) but even the UDFA signings process have a process. Beane cares about every player he puts on the roster. I think it really bothers him when he loses out on his coveted players. It explains the trade ups he's made over the years more than anything else, imo. Small investments to make to ensure the player you wanted didn't go to another team and you have lingering feelings of regret.

Athletic article - comments from NFL people on AFC draft classes
DCofNC replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think this exec thinks the same as the fans do. It’s really in Josh to elevate the guys around him, can he carry the team? We’ll see. The one thing I think is good, we’re going a little different than the majority of the league in building a Patriots dynasty type team of being able to do everything, so you can’t key on one thing. That’s really what’s made KC good, Pacheco can gash you and there’s no part of the field safe w Mahomes so, here’s to hoping we can do the same. -
- Misuse of then/than. “Then” is sequential. I’m going to go to the store, then home. “Than” is comparative. I’d rather go to Wegman’s than Top’s. - WNY mispronunciation of words like elementary by pronouncing them with an emphasized -TARY instead of emphasizing “MEN” and ending with “tree”. My daughter picked up this habit and wife and I wince every time we hear her do it. - Misuse of “ironic” in place of “coincidental”. Ironic means “opposite of what was expected” not “happenstance”.

This is the stupidest "there must have been fraud" theory ever. How many people flocked to Eugene McCarthy rallies in 1968? George Wallace rallies that same year? As opposed to Nixon rallies. Did more people show up for Bernie vs. Hillary? What makes anyone think that those who attend rallies are representative of the electorate in general?

Pretty balanced and fair summary. Like you, I’m not completely sold on Coleman- not because he ran 4.61, but because his college tape doesn’t show him getting open a lot. Now, he is just turning 21 and he is clearly a tremendous all-around athlete, so those both point to possible significant up. I’m hoping that he turns out to be great, but we will have to give him a few years to see. I think the balance of the Bills’ draft is promising and made sense. They have picks stockpiled for next year, after that draft I think/hope that they will be right in the championship mix again.
