Top 5 QB and Top 5 WR salary cannot coexist on a SB team
GoBills808 replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I'm guessing OP didn't know where Allen stacks up in terms of AAV before he wrote this He's likely to fall out of the top10 this coming yr...his salary in comparison to the rest of the league should be MORE reason to spend on WR, not less -
Question or topic of the day - a new idea for the board
WotAGuy replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Looking at the topics over the past couple months, it seems we’re already doing this. Natural death can’t come soon enough. j/k -
I’d ask him why he destroyed his cell phone. Then maybe, if we had time, I ask why so many TB12 users popped for performance enhancers. Then, maybe if I bought him an avocado ice cream, he’d tell me why the NFL destroyed the Spygate 1 tapes and why there wasn’t a list of teams found spied on in Spygate 2 and why only one person was fired despite an established team funded network of travel and filming. I’d ask if it felt odd at all to be such an outlier to be the literal only player to enjoy such success in their mid 40s and how odd it is that few people question it despite relying on a pharmacist who isn’t an actual doctor. Finally I’d ask him why his GOAT coach didn’t endorse him in any of the many scandals but especially surrounding deflategate. And if that factored into him seemingly leaving to spite him when the natural reaction would be to ride off into the sunset together. Add to that why his GM chose the coach over him. Then i’d ask for his autograph

Can’t imagine the Bills counting on Hyde in any way at this point. Had a great run here, but it’s over.

And why is that? Like he's that bad of a 3rd/4th option? Like you can just ignore the rest because you don't like him? Sure, OK -
All I could think of when I hear that is deaf leopard 😂

I can see the OP’s point, but this makes two years in a row that the Bills have used their first draft pick on a receiver. Are we really complaining about not double-dipping this this year in round 3 or 4? (Last year we took Shorter in round 5.) I agree that this regime historically has short-changed the offense, but what did people want us to do differently the last two years? How do you know the Bills didn’t try to move up? (I suspect Thomas Jr was off their board because of injury and character concerns.) And what makes you think the Bears are badly run? Other than trading for Claypool two years ago, they’ve made a lot of strong moves…

The KC Kingdom is laughing at the Claypool signing.

They won ( again) so I guess they can laugh at whatever they want. Really though, who cares ? A giant nothingburger imo -

I hope the adage Pride before the fall applies here. Pretty smug imo but could they be more accurate than one would think. I guess we’ll have to wait and see on that one. I guess the only real question is if this Claypool signing really is a joke or is Beane? https://kckingdom.com/posts/bills-make-laughable-free-agent-wr-addition-01hwzg5a664y

I was a DIE HARD Knicks fan and hated the Bulls & Micheal Jordan as much as I hated Brady , because of those two I had to replace lots of broken furniture , TV sets / remotes . Every time there’s a discussion about the greatest NBA player of all time for me it’s Micheal Jordan and it’s not even close as a QB I think Brady is in that category , back in the day when they were playing I would have never ask for an autograph or taken a picture with any of them , but today I would take bunch of selfies with both of them

Neck injury 2 years straight and age 34 tells me Hyde may retire.

Noncitizens caught voting in U.S. elections — here’s how they did it by Stephen Dinan Eloy Alberto Zayas-Berrier was part of the infamous Mariel boatlift that brought 125,000 Cubans, including criminals and mental hospital patients, to the U.S. in 1980. He’s been in the U.S. ever since in a bizarre legal limbo. He can’t qualify for citizenship and Cuba has refused to take him back, so he’s been stuck on “parole.” He remains here with only the barest of legal protections and cannot get a green card. He is decidedly not a citizen. That did not, however, stop him from showing up at an early-voting location in North Carolina on Nov. 5, 2016 https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2024/may/3/noncitizens-do-vote-in-us-elections-heres-how-they/ .

Question or topic of the day - a new idea for the board
Sierra Foothills replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Buffalo Bill, I don't quite grasp the concept. The excerpt above doesn't express to me the intention of your proposal. edit: In what way(s) would this create a different type of thread? Is the intention to cut down on the number of threads or the number of responses to a thread? What is the benefit of implementing this? Can you re-word for slow learners like myself? Thank you. -

Don’t count on it, even if the Bills go 7-10. With the level of chaos right now in Pegula-land, wholesale changes in the Bills’ front office is far too heavy of a lift. And whatever you might think of Beane’s roster management, he’s at least a professional executive who gives off an air of competence, unlike the clowns who occupied that office before him. -

I have no idea Because I didn’t read it Because he is a documented liar and antagonist, mostly toward the Bills Which I realize likely elevates him in your eyes Which is your prerogative so I have no qualms with it -
If I had an opportunity presented to me where I could get his autograph I wouldn't turn it down but then I would sell it. Everything has a price in today's economy I would never hang anything Brady autographed in my mancave or anything like that

The bolded part does it for me. I have seen this change going on amd it's obvious now. We want to be a heck of alot more physical. If KC wants to hold our WR'S at the LOS 1) good luck and 2) it will have to be so blatantly done a penalty has to be called. You aren't easily holding a guy like Coleman and not flat tear his jersey off.

Dude is injury prone and looked completely washed last year. If you want to challenge Mahomes, sign a veteran CB for depth and sign/start Simmons opposite Bishop.
