  1. Past hour
  2. Although the sample size is small, Prater has made 7 out of 8 attempts, giving him an 87.5% rate, which is equal to Bass's highest average oin 2021. Over the last two years, Bass has made around an 82% of his kicks. If Prater goes 3 for 3 against NOLA, Bass should lose his job.
  3. the problem isn’t Brady ball - I celebrated it in the first half. If you are walking down the field, no need to risk turnover, injury or sack in the second half on a few plays where we needed the shot - it wasn’t happening and it seemed to be perimeter skill, not play call in those moments.
  4. Here's the deal with Prater. It's like golf. Prater plays a fade. Every kick fades. Almost all of his FGs and XPs have been a fade from the left hash mark. When Josh got sacked it was on the right side, but the refs marked it in the middle. So Prater, like a golfer, was thinking I can't fade. and he over cooked it. That's all that was. A guy thinking donlt push it right and he over compensated.
  5. I would not make that switch at this point and I bet you McDermott won't either.
  6. The Bills have scored TD's on each of their opening drives in the last 3 games. And had the D got off the filed on either the 3rd & 12 or 3rd & 10 late in the 2nd quarter the Bills likely would have scored points before the half giving them the desired double dip.
  7. He has a lot more left than I thought As a former defensive back that's the one thing I can see with a really good eye and he looks pretty quick .. better than I thought And he should actually keep improving since it's a long rehab from that tear he had.. you're going to be better 25 months out than you were 16 months out
  8. “Anything other then one of them…”
  9. Friendly fire Rapping The stove was low on propane But James gets it done!
  10. I wasn't knocking Tre.....I don't expect him to have the speed to keep up with those guys at this point.....he's still a valuable CB to have on the team, but if Hairston was healthy, I'd bet we would've seen a lot of him on the field tonight.
  11. What a fabulous picture to go with this fun (except for the death part) story.
  12. What I meant was, that's gonna happen from time to time here and there having multiple 3 and outs back to back. It doesn't dispute my statement, it just went over your head
  13. He looks pretty live out there to me. You may be right about the step in regards to long speed, but he's making a lot of short area plays that are negatively affecting offenses. I'm very pleasantly surprised by what he's been showing.
  14. That might be true against Kansas City and Patrick mahomes because you're trying to not give a future Hall of famer too many attempts Against the dolphins I don't think they're worried about how many possessions they're getting.. Josh could have turned it on at any point in this game I have no doubt The bills aren't opening up the passing game until it's forced... They're going to be content all year playing three phase football... There will be a time when Josh throws 40 times and it won't be good for the opponent
  15. We are watching a deliberate offensive strategy play out. It is similar to last season where it was successful and after 3 games this season we're 3 - 0 averaging 34 PPG. I live in Cincinnati and saw a much more explosive offense not make the playoffs the last 2 seasons. I'll take Brady ball any day of the week.
  16. Tough game, as I expected for Thursday night game against a very desperate Dolphins team. The offense looked good, then not, and then good again. Not liking that the Bills are not taking any deep shots down field. They averaged 5.8 yards per play which is quite good, but they left points on the field. The kickoff coverage was not good and Miami had good field position most of the game. The Bills 3rd down defense was bad (they gave up 10 of 15), mostly do to lack of pass rush. Bernard with a great INT when needed. Take the W and ten days of rest. They are not going to steam roll teams every week. Go Bills!
  17. Agree with this but it’s odd he’s not knocking down more passes. That’s been his calling card - using his length to disrupt passing windows and occasionally reach over his blocker and grab the QB. He used to do both of those things to Tua especially. For whatever reason we haven’t seen much of it this year (I think he had one pass block against the Jets).
  18. I think that our offense is trying to add more wrinkles other than Josh playing hero ball 24/7. It will bear fruit in the future..
  19. 😂😂We did run QB sweep on third and 7 at the end there tho
  20. You philistines just don’t understand the artistry behind Prater’s kick tonight, which was clearly meant as a postmodern subversion on the notion of prescriptive success through the lens of goalposts. “What if the ‘good’ kick were somewhere over here?” asks the artist, “ten yards to the left”. “Isn’t there an equally valid world where THIS is worth your precious three points while the straight kick is valueless?”
  21. Do we have a guy who can get a bucket? Not sure yet. Do we have a guy who can take the top off? Not sure yet. And people in this thread can pretend it’s not a big deal, but it was an issue in the KC playoff game last year. It’s popped up in playoff games prior. It’s glossed over because of how bad the defense has been in those games, but it’s been an issue and this question hasn’t been solved to this point.
  22. I'd have to rewatch this game but the Ravens game was really bad.
  23. I mean, I get it. It is what it is, we’re stuck with McDermott. This game isn’t the time to B word.
  24. Agreed not every time. But 3 times in a row kind of disputes your statement haha
  25. There isn’t enough of a pattern there for me to be worried.
