I admire Mike White's toughness. That said, Trubisky brings more to the roster than white does IMO. He's got more experience, has been in the Bills QB room longer and looked competent today. I'd like to see both White and the other kid replaced at cutdown by a younger QB for the PS. Honestly, Id even be ok scooping up Tommy Cutlets for QB 3 when the Giants have to cut him before the season.

This "interception" is still one of the worst calls I've seen (7:27 in the video).

I hate to say it but Tre White is a big arrow down. I'm rooting for him but today's performance made me revert to my original thought that he is unfortunately just washed. He cannot be trusted to cover quick WRs 1v1. Giants picked on him repeatedly. Not that Dane Jackson was any better. I hope Hairston gets back healthy soon and can figure things out quickly because I fear CB2 will be a major weakness for us this year unless he saves the day. As others have mentioned the primary DL players impressed me, most notably Bosa, Walker, and Sanders. Bosa's potential in this defense if he can stay healthy is tantalizing. He's flown under the radar but today showed flashes of his old self and at his best he was an elite EDGE. We may have gotten a steal there. Knock on wood.

McDermott’s D consistently relies on a four man rush with limited stunts. The problem is our DL consistently struggles to win one on one. Far too often they get stonewalled.

I like Mike White more than Trubisky, but I think the organization (and Josh) like Mitch more.

Tre White got picked on. Not sure how much stock to put on it. Trubs seemed to run the offense better than White but neither wowed me. Ty Johnson is the man. Shavers is a dawg. Walker had that flash. Buffalo Joe is a capable NFL player. Shenault upped his stock. I need to rewatch to focus on Hancock and Sanders.

Do Jordan Hancock or Dorian Strong count? I know they're 5th & 6th round picks, but one of those late DBs is going to become a starter. I feel it in my bones.

Your assessment is spot on. Can't even get sacks in a preseason game. Still can't get off the field on 3rd down. I know it's preseason, but I'm just more interested in bolstering the offense at this point. McDermott's D will never be great.

I been thinking it but reluctant to post it, because I’m gonna get slammed. But… if our chances for a Super Bowl hinge on ..multiple.. rookies playing well against KC…well, we’re *****. It’s kinda funny to see the reactions to rookies in their first preseason game.

This defensive coaching, philosophy and scheme has been the issue since 2018 and it’s just never going to change. We keep looking at every other thing but the problem from that day is the problem that will keep us from a Super Bowl. I don’t need McDermott gone but I need his defense gone. If those 2 can’t be separated then the both can walk. It’s preseason…I’m not saying this because of preseason. I’m just saying new year, same thing

Exactly. Josh emulates his athleticism, toughness and fortitude. He lost three SB’s before he finally won 2 at the end of his career. I will never, ever forget that helicopter twirl in the SB. That was in years 15 and 16. He never gave up and 40+ come from behind wins or ties. Josh has that spirit in him. He’s by far my favorite all time Buffalo Bill. Even more than my handle Machine Gun Kelly. 20 years from now, all of us to tell story after story about the Great Josh Allen, amd he one day will make the HOF. Yeah, he needs some rings, but if Elway never gave up after losing three, not one, not two, but three SBs. I know it’s early, but I’ll have tears in my eyes when he receives his gold jacket. Let’s hope it’s not for 17-20 years and enjoys a long and fruitful career. BTW- if you’re looking for a thing to watch, I’m watching “Greater”. It’s so inspirational and on Netflix.

Yea I don't think Lundt is knocking Vandy off the roster. I disagree with you on SVPG. I think he is possibly not gonna make it back off PUP thi year and even if he does his roster spot is not secure IMO. 10 OL... hard to see... maybe? But they have done it before.
