Slay says he’s from the south and Buffalo’s too cold. Yet he’s spent his entire career in the north. Also, he signed for this season with Pittsburgh, which isn’t exactly a tropical paradise. Slay is full of it. If I’m Buffalo, I use this as motivation. It’s a perfect Buffalo vs everybody rally cry. This 2025 Bills team hasn’t seemed very motivated compared to previous seasons. We’ve been too “professional “. Maybe this will be a slap in the face to get us on a December-January-(hopefully) February run.

Maybe they are picturing a 3 safety look with Poyer in the box more. IIRC, they ran that look a few years ago and it helped the run defense.

Maybe Beane is learning from the Master GM Bill Belichick and adopted a youth movement. I mean, not really adopting as in actual adoption, but close. I kid, lightened up. The dog was really the GM behind those drafts.

We lose Ja'Marcus Ingram and are now down to just 3 Boundary CB's, and are one injury away from Dane Jackson - and they fill that spot with a player at a different position. Odd.
