  1. Past hour
  2. If that agent had unwrapped and proceeded to eat that sub, he'd be a cult hero today.
  3. If it’s a Jim’s stinger with hot tenders, they might just get the wrapper
  4. I'll buy you a sub and you can hurl it at your authoritarian of choice. Deal?
  5. Not even being a jerk.. I do think trangenderism is mental illness but also support people to live the way they want to live without discrimination once they are of age to make those decisions. But… Between what’s happening with children and irreversible decisions and the violence of the trans community, it’s time we had a national conversation about this topic.
  6. I would like some new young blood. The bottom was pretty bare.
  7. Trans = mentally ill. We should make it easier for them to find treatment instead of pretending any of this is normal.
  8. We can all breathe a huge sigh of relief. America is still America. Uncle Herschel (who even knew the name of that character?) lives. The rocking chairs will still be on the front porch. The grits will still be as tasteless and crusted-over as ever. The gift store will still sell those signs that say things like God Bless Our Home and and those chalkboards that say Thing I Keep Forgettin and those paperbacks like 1001 Best Dad Jokes. Will Travis make Taylor more Trumpy? Will Taylor make Travis more woke? Let's form a prayer circle.
  9. Simple defensive positioning has a lot of checks and changes from pre to post snap. The film probably shows only a subset of the checks. The communications between players may change year to year, but formation and checks probably not that much. Another big part is personnel. Each player in a formation has responsibilities. The guys practiced/ran in those plays know who can do well and who cannot do well, or even within the same play but different checks. Those are more valuable to opposing coaches because they can only project what a player could do in a play if THAT player has no film on taking a specific role in a play; but a former player who practiced that play many times with the former teammate knew.
  10. Get your Leftnut Army of Resisters ready!
  11. The idea of you having to choose between snacks and internet service has a certain appeal.
  12. Well since George Saimes passed 12 years ago, we called Hagood Clarke and Tony Greene to come back but they deferred. Seriously, this is a solid move to help Bishop and Hancock get up to speed in practice setting. Hancock's draft status and college playing experience really mirror that of Poyer's too.
  13. If one of the 3 is injured it will start this fall
  14. Cannot wait for the Franklin Gore Jr. hype train next summer.
  15. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere last year that Poyer wanted to get into coaching in some sort of role. To me, this signing sounds like a perfect fit.
  16. I cheer anyone fighting MAGA authoritarianism with nonviolent means such as this. You allergic to mayo or anything?
  17. I would say relative to the hype/where they were drafted: Harrison - disappointing but promising still Nabers - hit Odunze - disappointing, could go either way still Thomas - hit Worthy - need to see more, but pretty promising Pearsall - need to see more, but pretty promising Legette - need to see more, could go either way (lean disappointing) Coleman - need to see more, could go either way (lean promising) McConkey - hit Polk - bust AD Mitchell - not enough snaps to really say and disaster QB situation Corley - bust Burton - not enough snaps to say, lean bust Roman Wilson - getting some camp hype this year but TBD McMillan - promising rookie season McCaffrey - not enough snaps to say, lean bust That's all the top 3 round guys. Outside the top 3 rounds, Franklin is getting some camp hype this year, Devaughn Vele had a strong rookie season relative to draft position, and Jalen Coker was very promising as an UDFA guy off the top of my head. At any rate, I feel like that's a pretty strong start for the class. If Harrison and Odunze both end up being busts that would be a pretty big whiff on both but I don't personally see that being the case.
  18. Well, you better pray for an independent Fed, whichever side of the aisle you're on. The ability of politicians and dictators to manipulate the money supply for their short-term political gain is one of the hallmarks of a failed state. Imagine a future AOC administration in which the monetary strategy is to cause runaway inflation to inflate away consumer debt ...
  19. I am bummed we were not able to cut the entire safety room.
  20. Could still be moved once Ogunjobi comes back from suspension.
  21. Yeah, I kind of need a little break from roster talk. I think at this stage of their careers, Allen is the better downfield passer and clearly the better runner (although Pat is a good scrambler when he needs to be and certainly has a good downfield arm when he uses it).. However, I think many of us have seen that Mahomes is the better dink and dunker. He's always been. At the end of those close playoff games when KC needs a critical TD or FG, it's the dink and dunk plus Andy Reid play call mastery that gives KC a slight edge. We've had two seasons in a row end with the ball in our hands, and the Bills can't take what the D gives and execute a short dump off to get the needed yardage. I'm just wondering if the Bills start working on that more this season,,, or maybe they keep some plays in their back pocket for critical playoff moments.
  22. Correct. When the team drafts 2 guys with their first 4 picks at your position you are in trouble. They are giving Carter a fair shot. Just have to make the best of it or he isn't a fit in Buffalo.
