Bengals Waive Our Old Friend RB Zack Moss
Kirby Jackson replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Moss thing really bothered me because they used the 74th pick the year prior on an RB (who was fine and actually better). It didn’t make sense at the time and makes less sense in hindsight. I cringed but remembered that the Panthers used 1sts in 2006 AND 2008 on RBs. Not sure why you wouldn’t just add a late round guy or cheap FA as the 2nd guy? -
What could possibly go wrong with one of the most corrupt, incompetent, and disgraceful administrations since 2017 running the show? Why the hell are we letting these low-IQ rejects butcher Social Security after they’ve already gutted Medicare and Medicaid? It’s a damn disaster waiting to happen, and Americans are going to suffer.

Hey guys, I am coming in for the Sunday night game vs patriots. I am coming from Indiana and it has been years since I have been to The Ralph. I am bringing my son that has never watched the Bills in Buffalo. With the new stadium construction is there any camping available anymore??? If not is there a recommendation on where to stay?? Thanks Go Bills!

Training Camp News - Around the League version
EmotionallyUnstable replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Both true -
This was such a sigh of relief. But as a fan who hasn't paid much attention to what's going on in camp, it's great to read that Tre seems to be playing really well. He's had such bad breaks in his career, and before the injuries started, he was one of the top CB's in the league. I'd love to see it all come full circle and see him play a big part in Buffalo finally getting a title.

Add 'em to the list!

This is both surprising and scary at the same time. I hope he retires and I wish him well. -
Alec Anderson knee surgery; out 1-2 weeks
Captain_Quint replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall
Might be a circumcision and they disguise it as a knee for privacy. Personally, I wouldn't want the headline 'Anderson out for two weeks due to circumcision' floating around. -
Bills have a playoff problem..It’s not Josh Allen (Warren Sharp)
Success replied to BillytheKid's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hate seeing ignorant fans say stuff like "Allen always comes up short in the playoffs" or "Allen can't beat Mahomes when it counts." I'm hoping w/ the investments on defense we'll actually be able to make some stops this year. -
In other words: Than you, Dr. Fauci, for enabling these kids to become homeowners at an unusually young age. Speak for yourself. I have kids still under 25. I expect them to do perfectly fine, and then someday to inherit whatever my wife and I have saved (the whole "generational wealth" thing). Sometimes too much too soon isn't a good thing. Working for it puts iron in your soul.

Alec Anderson knee surgery; out 1-2 weeks
EmotionallyUnstable replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall
What kind of knee surgery are you back from in 1-2 weeks? -
I think there is a very important distinction to be made here between “the man” and “that time in your life”. I can separate the two, but I respect other’s feelings.

Not sure where to put this now...mods, feel free to move wherever.

HappyDays replied to BillytheKid's topic in The Stadium Wall
Meh. Ravens are 0-1 against them, and they held the Chiefs to 17 points in that one loss it was just their offense couldn't get anything going. Bengals are 1-1. We're 0-4 while averaging 28.25 PPG. So I wouldn't classify it as just "an AFC problem." Beyond the annual wildcard participants, we're the primary reason the Chiefs dynasty exists and that's despite our offense performing quite well over the course of those games. -
A week later and I'm still bummed over this. What makes this tragic in my mind is he wasent a super old guy. It sounds like he got an infection from the surgery and that's what did him in, because he was a healthy guy otherwise. Had the back issues but he always kept himself in great shape and he was mentally sharp still compared to some athletes his age. He's everything I miss in the past 20 years of pro wrestling. This match here with The Rock was a work of art, they went into this match with the game plan of The Rock being the current megastar babyface, and Hogan the NWO heel. It was always Vince's plan to switch Hogan back babyface, but the people here just jumped ahead of it because of the nostalgia effect. At the beginning of this match the people were with Hogan 100 to 0. Hogan was doing all classic the heel stuff to get heat (chocking The Rock with his wrist tape, biting The Rock, whipping him with his belt etc)...but the people cheered it. That's how over Hogan was, they were giving him babyface pops for heel *****. Hogan knew how to work the people and that's sorely missed in todays product. The faces, knowing where the cameras are at all times, the in-ring psychology, it's a lost art. The Rock did a wonderful job of that in this match too. When they locked up and Hogan threw him off and The Rock took that ass over tea kettle bump and looked up with that shocked look...or the look on Rockys face when Hogan was hulking up after the kickout...tremendous. Pat Patterson did a great job constructing this match, nice false finishes. Rocky getting Hogan in the sharpshooter, Hogan landing the rock bottom on Rocky. Hogans Wrestlemania 3 match with Andre is still my all-time favourite match. Their promos and build to the match was excellent, and I love the presentation of that Wrestlemania. Even tho it was a giant stadium it had the old school look, dark arena, the ring lit up, the classic red, white and blue ropes with the blue turnbuckles and yellow WWF logos...it's the red helmet of wrestling rings. I wish they would go back to that ring with modern technology so the guys wouldn't get hurt like the did on the old one. And Andre was the perfect villian for Hogan too, it's the only match I ever thought Hogan could lose. I don't think we'll ever have another monster babyface like that again because Hulk was such an enormous guy with a great body, not many guys like that around. Often this is why he preferred to wrestle the bigger guys because there no way for him to get sympathy with a guy half his size like Rody Piper, Jake the Snake, Million Dollar Man, Bret Hart etc. He needed guys like Bundy, Andre, Mosca, Earthquake, Yoko etc. A few of my favourite Hogan moments:

I was so pumped when we drafted him. I then realized I struggle to evaluate talent. Just too slow for the NFL game -
I’m must say, if I had to choose four, that might be my lineup! I’d mix in a Butch Byrd if I could, because that man let me survive after I exploded an egg all over his nice suit. A long story from long ago, but a very vivid memory from my childhood, about 4th grade. I’m not anti-jersey or anything, my son and DIL have plenty, it’s just a me thing. My youngest boy got his brother a signed Bruce jersey when he really couldn’t afford that. It became his, and now hangs proudly in his Bill viewing room. It’s a jersey and a family treasure. .
