  1. Past hour
  2. Was just about to post this Looks like he's out for the game
  3. I’d be shocked if they’d touch Tucker. Obviously, we could do worse as a player (even with the down year last year), but I can’t see them wanting to deal with any of the stuff that comes with it.
  4. This happened twice. I saw Groot take another hands to the face, and there was no penalty called.
  5. I’ve no doubt that’s ‘the point’ however it’s hard to believe that part of the strategy is spotting the opponent 21 points before ball control kicks in. I mean, yikes!
  6. The annoying part is you either have to IR Prater or cut someone to make room on the roster. Wouldn't be surprised to see Phillips IR'ed though I'm guessing that was their "phantom move" when Oliver was ready to come back
  7. If that were to happen, would love to read the fine print on the contract about personal behavior. Seems very Billsy to go through 3 punters and 3 kickers this season.
  8. Bills won't touch him - the entire NFL for that matter. Ideally not a FG game against the Browns.
  9. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/buffalo-bills/news/matt-prater-injury-update-buffalo-bills-precarious-spot-kicker/0b7a962a223c648feacbea6a Besides a fantasy notification, it's the first I've heard this. What happened? Delete and destroy if BS
  10. The official clock is handled by the ref on the field. There is no way that play took 6 seconds before they could call TO, it was fine. The Bills D was not as fine.
  11. oh yeah forgot about Tucker.
  12. I listened to this spot this morning (live in NE). I did not take it as whining and I thought it was interesting he mentioned the Bills lead the lead in holding penalties. His take on that is that is by design, he is probably right. The Chiefs do this in the playoffs on defense, dare the officials to call penalties.
  13. Fortunately for us the best kicker in NFL history is currently looking for a job
  14. He’s not exactly a young guy. They should consider holding him out until the playoffs. There are available adequate kickers.
  15. I disagree. I read today the Bills have given up 185+ yards in a game a whopping SIX times this year. However, they are 4-2 in those games. The first matchup this year, Henry had 18 carries and rumbles for 169 yards. Insane, no doubt. But the rarely give Henry 25 carries and we can sell out to stop him and let Lamar try and beat us from the pocket.
  16. Totally forgot that! Again just ridiculous that they called offsetting penalties.
  17. Weird how negative people are... on a Bills board, after a victory and a great game by #58
  18. I wish. McD said he just learned about it today. Says he'll be week to week.
  19. This guy played for the Pats in the Tuck Rule game.
  20. what a time to lose your kicker.
  21. I thought the punch on the sidelines was funny. One flag and then they huddle up and determine there is offsetting penalties
  22. This is exactly right. McD's defensive strengths are fostering communication, teamwork, and effort, and disguising the D at presnap. McD's never had a bunch of Olympic athletes on defense, but his combination of coaching strengths usually earns us a top 10 ranking anyway. But because our success is significantly driven by presnap disguises, we don't typically do well against good offenses with elite QBs (like Mahomes and Burrow in the playoffs) who aren't easily fooled and can beat us mano a mano. I think Sanders will struggle against this D, despite our injuries and shortcomings.
  23. It used to happen in the Manning/Brady days: History of Accusations "Spygate" Allegations: Following the initial Spygate investigation in 2007, several former New England employees alleged that the Patriots would frequently scramble or jam the opposing team's coach-to-quarterback headset frequencies during games at Gillette Stadium. One team reportedly asked an NFL official to sit in their coaches' box to witness it happen. Specific Incidents: - 2007 Browns Game: A team source for the Cleveland Browns claimed their coaches lost communication with quarterback Charlie Frye eight to ten times during a game in Foxborough. - 2006 Jaguars Playoff Game: Former Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio stated his team's headsets "mysteriously malfunctioned" for most of the first half of their playoff loss to the Patriots. - 2015 Steelers Game: During the 2015 season opener, the Pittsburgh Steelers experienced significant headset problems, including picking up the Patriots' radio broadcast in their headsets. The NFL attributed this incident to a stadium power infrastructure issue exacerbated by inclement weather, a statement the Steelers questioned. - Other Teams: Representatives from several other teams have also reported experiencing similar problems with their coaches' equipment when playing at Gillette Stadium.
