Buddy I'm all about objective reasoning, to the extent we mere mortals are capable of it. Personally I'm of the belief that subjective bias makes absolute truth almost impossible- so all we can do is to strive to be as close as we can. But if the last 10+ years have taught me anything- it's that most of mainstream academia, news media and the medical-industrial complex certainly doesn't hold themselves to that standard anymore (if they ever did?).
