From what I've heard and seen both of them this TC have new injuries...nothing held over from last year. But yes, 12 weeks to get his knee less wear and tear would likely have helped Kincaid. 12 weeks of not running and cutting would likely have helped Samuels turf toe last year. Neither injury has anything to do with this years injuries from what I'm told

Alleviating that a bit for me is the fact that the Bills have improving depth at all those spots. Hairston should be healthy at the start of the season and Stong is coming on in camp. Dorian Willliams is another year older and smarter. Buffalo still has Epenesa, Solomon is showing development and the Bills added Landon Jackson in the draft. Then, of course, after 6 weeks of the season the Bills will have Hoecht available.

You REALLY love Cook. He is a solid RB. But Not losing sleep if he doesn’t play another down for us. We have a talented team. If we have to throw 40+ times per game and Josh is running 15 times/ game so be it. We will survive and excel. Too much talent on this team at every position for us not to. Shavers just got carried off on stretcher, and was back days 2 days later, making play after play. All Feathers in Shavers cap. Shavers is making roster and will be valuable player IMO

I think when you look at draft capital used, you have to use a sliding scale. Benford is probably the best pick of Beane’s tenure. He’s a top 12ish outside CB. Now, to me, despite him not being a superstar, that’s a homerun pick in the 6th round. I guess the way I view it is that a pick can be a homerun AND not a superstar. And despite some relative homeruns, a team can still need to do better to find stars. The first and second round unfortunately is littered with picks that are certainly not homeruns and also not superstars.

If Yale has 30% legacy admissions, well, part of that is the Yale parent was likely really smart, and so the Yale son or daughter is too. This is part of a long-term GOP strategy. The constitution (we still care about that, right?) mandates a decennial census where we count the people. No 3/5 of certain people anymore. But it doesn't necessarily say that congressional districts need to be drawn based on those whole people. So the GOP would like to retain the benefit of a large illegal population (have you ever actually been to Texas?) to get more congressional seats/electoral votes, but to also obtain the benefit of drawing districts based on other ways of counting, like excluding illegal aliens.

IMO, they should have had him and Kincaid on IR a good chunk of last year to heal up better from their nagging injuries rather than trot them out every week.
