  1. Past hour
  2. I hope each of you are not stuck on a grill all day. For us, we are going bowling today. We will wish a happy belated birthday to my son, Ryan, and stepson, Lucas. Whats better than bowling in the A/C, in FL in June. Anyway, enjoy the day guys. Dan.
  3. I think you are slightly talking past each other. What I think @Mr. WEO is saying is impossible is getting Shakir 160 targets. And I sort of agree with him. Could you just throw it at him 160 times to prove a point? Sure. Could you actually find 160 occasions during the season to target him in a way that is going to help the offense? No, I don't think you could. His skillset simply isn't well rounded enough to do that.
  4. Steve, the guys defending Kelly right now are the same ones who wanted him benched for Reich back in the day. Kelly’s a legit HOFer and his teams went to four consecutive SBs. He’s on the list. But the Bills have won so many games because of Josh Allen and I find it hard to recall telling myself that back in the 90s about Kelly. Usually I was thinking about how great Bruce was, or Thurman, or how Reed just ran away from people after catching a short pass. Folks just don’t really remember how freaking talented those rosters were.
  5. Was clear with Bishop last year IMO. He was out of position so often his teammates did not trust him and it was affecting how they played their own responsibilities.
  6. I understand the nut left some sort of Manifesto. Initially, officials insisted it would not be released to the public. If he supported Trump or his specific positions I'll conclude the liberal democratic government of the State of Minnesota would release the Manifesto. Who knows this may change?
  7. I’m sure most remember but I always like to point out that his stats don’t include the three seasons he missed due to playing in the USFL. I would estimate an additional (at least): 10,000 yards 70 TD’s 20 INT’s something like that.
  8. He disguised himself as a cop so we know why he took the job. Biden hired republicians to work for him so dems will reach across the aisle to hire a qualified person to fill a job. You people are funny, a white Christian nationalist who is anti abortion killed 2 Dems shot 2 more, had a list of a lot more dems and you think he is a Dem. What an idiot!
  9. Douche Swede Shlit Post Alert. We have identified another sock puppet account fellow PPP observers. Ignore as appropriate. Big Balls has finished analyzing DMs Number of total DMs over last four months = zero point zero. Number of all time DMs about ANY specific poster = zero point zero. Conclusion: Iron Law of Commie Woke Projection invoked. Iron Law of Rent Free Big Balls Brain Case Dwelling invoked. #DoucheSwede
  10. Regarding the McD rookie/vet playing discussion - one thing he emphasized in one of last week's PCs is not putting someone out there if their "teammates don't trust him". A reminder that there are things factored in that we as fans don't necessarily know anything about.
  11. Today
  12. He's a chief tho liz
  13. McDermott plays rookies, if they win the job. Benford and Cyrus come to mind. Keon and Dalton. It was Marv who didn’t play rookies, 30 years ago
  14. He was 25th in QBR last year. He was 20th in EPA per play in minimum 250 snaps. This was despite Garrett Wilson and DeVante Adams at his disposal. The offensive line was slightly above average according to most of the advanced metrics yet he still took 40 sacks last year. Rodgers in his prime was the best QB I've seen in my lifetime but father time caught up to him even before he tore his Achilles. Plus, Rodgers likes to play in the spread from the shotgun. Arthur Smith has never heard of that formation. Who's their best WR besides DK Metcalf? It's not good depth there. Other than that, I think he'll be great.
  15. To you and everyone else reflexively against anything Trump is involved with. If he organized a pride event those same people would suddenly take issue. That last bit is hyperbole. Kind of.
  16. James Cook is obviously a way better running back than Ray Davis at this point in career. In defense of Davis though he was often brought on in short yardage situation and when we were just trying to run out the clock late in games. That's why he was third in the league into running into stacked boxes (8 men in the box). He was also 4th in the NFL in missed tackles created per attempt so I do expect him to get better as Cook and Singletary made quite the jump in their 2nd season. Rookie wall and everything. The one game where Cook missed Davis went 20 carries for 97 yards so he's capable at least.
  17. So you argue that we don't have difference makers ... and yet we've been a terrific offense year after year. Being a great offense is the goal of the offense, and we're achieving it. Where's the problem there? We were an excellent offense with Singletary before Cook. There's a lot of different ways to be excellent. I'm with Barley in that I think we do know what the Bills under Beane will do about investing in an RB if the RB (decision maker or not) insists on $15M AAV. That could be wrong, certainly, but it doesn't appear so. We'll see.
  18. Good points, all. That second paragraph is the part that the "pay him $15M AAV" crowd wants to forget. I too think you know Beane's most likely answer.
