  2. No. But you do need that big legged kicker for long FG attempts
  3. AJ, Cook, and Samuel for Micah. Next man up, Darrynton Evans https://www.buffalobills.com/video/can-t-miss-play-darrynton-evans-won-t-go-down-on-35-yard-td-run-bills-at-bears-p
  4. Since Samuel got to Buffalo he hasn’t been better than anyone, so where is the difference? At some point ya gotta try someone else, lol.
  5. After all, Trump is not a billionaire because his father gifted him $250,000 when he was 21. He's a billionaire because he's a stable genius. Stability/intelligence. What, are we gonna tax that away to level the playing field?

    Box Tree Moths

Ours are pretty much same size. Destroyed. They might recover but probably going to end up pulling them.
  7. Samuel doesnt play special teams, and we are tight on roster spots. #1 Gunner is very valuable player. Coaches gush about Shavers. Shavers just got carried off on stretcher, and was back days 2 days later, making play after play. All Feathers in Shavers cap. Shavers is making roster and will be valuable player IMO
  8. I think when you look at draft capital used, you have to use a sliding scale. Benford is probably the best pick of Beane’s tenure. He’s a top 12ish outside CB. Now, to me, despite him not being a superstar, that’s a homerun pick in the 6th round. I guess the way I view it is that a pick can be a homerun AND not a superstar. And despite some relative homeruns, a team can still need to do better to find stars. The first and second round unfortunately is littered with picks that are certainly not homeruns and also not superstars.
  9. I guess I don't understand the thinking here. This sounds like DEI by other means. Aren't the wealthy "wealthy" because of certain attributes? High IQ (including a large genetic component), drive/perseverance, a future orientation (developing their human capital through education, etc, even if it means deferred gratification)? Isn't the Republican Party all about recognizing that? Let's apply your comment to, say, college admissions. Elite colleges have tended to have a lot of "legacy" admissions - children of their grads. If Yale has 30% legacy admissions, well, part of that is the Yale parent was likely really smart, and so the Yale son or daughter is too. I know, let's make them diversify by accepting other kids with poorer academic credentials! Let's eliminate standardized testing. DEI for me but not for thee.
  10. I fully agree. Like you said. He's really good and has elite level traits. Just not sure all world is best to describe him. Not a knock on him.
  11. With the new kickoff rules the last couple years, it's not such a great advantage to have a big legged kicker who gets it through the end zone every time.
  12. I mean if 7 months of offseason didn't let them get over their injuries, what is 3 months of in season IR gonna do?
  13. Reeally? Wow, I totally missed that, thanks.
  14. This is part of a long-term GOP strategy. The constitution (we still care about that, right?) mandates a decennial census where we count the people. No 3/5 of certain people anymore. But it doesn't necessarily say that congressional districts need to be drawn based on those whole people. So the GOP would like to retain the benefit of a large illegal population (have you ever actually been to Texas?) to get more congressional seats/electoral votes, but to also obtain the benefit of drawing districts based on other ways of counting, like excluding illegal aliens.
  15. No worries. I agree, when healthy Samuels is clearly an more complete player. A better player. But the best ability is availability...which is where Curtis is a liability. IMO, they should have had him and Kincaid on IR a good chunk of last year to heal up better from their nagging injuries rather than trot them out every week.
  16. Man what happened in 2020? There is no easy fix to this - definitely not Democrats tax and spend policies. That’s why Trump is reconfiguring the global economy and putting America first. Yes, some demand will drop if costs rise. Consumption will dip but prices will start to fall. And if productivity increases.. If off shoring stops and manufacturing moves here…. If we stop illegals and H1B and deport millions… If we cut the federal bureaucracy and work on the deficit… The alternative is communism. Which is what the Democrats are full blown now.
  17. whenever i question my manhood and toughness i watch a little bit of soccer and feel so much better.
  18. I agree. Seems like the smart move would be to keep Shavers as Wr5 and place Samuel on IR to start the year and bring him back as late as possible. Theres close to zero percent chance he stays healthy all season, so keep him from getting injured by placing him on IR.
  19. Yeah, we stomped them that one year. Although that was the year that they traded AJ Brown and their offense fell off a cliff. The point remains that Vrabel is 2-3 vs McDermott and that’s with the Bills having a near massive QB advantage for almost every one of those games. Please stop with the AI slop.
  20. You're right. This happens in American politics all the time. A new government comes in all full of talk of reform. And then it becomes obsessed with retaining power regardless of its principles. It's particularly true of Trump 2.0 (and yes, to be fair Biden before him, and Obama 2.0 before that). That's what happens when the presidency becomes a Cult of Personality. You might well ask "what personality" with respect to Biden. And I'll respond that he ran on a Return to Normalcy plank. Restore stability in the government, take things more down a middle of the road track. And then he governed much farther to the left as he desperately tried to keep a previously winning coalition (educated white people, minorities) intact.
  21. No sweat. I know he has burst and it’s why I would be happy to have him on the team. I still think he missing parts of his game that Samuel has demonstrated. I admittedly was expecting this clip so sorry for jumping all over it
  22. Vet teams with continuity at both coordinator positions are going to be extremely cautious with injuries in camp. There are very few position battles and both the offense and defensive schemes are being carried over from last year. Guys know what they are supposed to be doing and almost all of the slots in our 53 are filled. I'll start to worry if guys show up on the actual injury report leading into week one. My main concerns are Shakir's high-ankle sprain (because those linger) and Hairston missing valuable camp time as a rookie. The other stuff will probably sort itself out over the next three weeks.
  23. Team had the option last year of playing shavers over Samuel in the playoffs and other important games. They didn’t and I don’t think this years camp proves he’s better than what Samuel’s did put on tape (unless you think Samuel’s injuries have caused his play to diminish further). If they had the same contract would you put GabeDavis behind shavers? Would you put Samuel’s behind him?
  24. No. I am just showing he has a burst as well. You're reading wayyyyyyyy too much into a simple post. Sheesh.
