I’ll take a closer look at what we did in our secondary that may be true and I missed it…if that’s the case I’d amend it to Coleman would’ve been unstoppable in that game if there was a tighter whistle both ways I do remember the play where benford had a hand on somebody’s shoulder pad but the ravens looked like they were getting away with a lot of jersey pulls/hooks to me.. that late dpi Coleman drew felt kinda like a makeup to me

GW kick was actually very close to getting blocked by Kyle Hamilton. Next time you watch the highlights keep an eye on him. He basically comes through untouched inside of the wing man on the left side. The ball actually goes under his hand it looks like. 2nd picture is him right after, he knows how close he came to the block. That would have been a punch to the gut to lose to a blocked chip shot after coming back like that. -
0-1 Chiefs, Ravens, Texans and the rest of the AFC East

Exactly. They mean as much in September they do on in January just like in baseball they mean as much in April as they do in September. -
Got a GoBills guffaw. Man sees a legendary win with Keon going off for 100+ and thinks, “man how can I maintain that super edgy message board fandom I’ve cultivated in spite of this” WRs will be top 10. Will be interesting to see what new complaint folks jump to when this is solidified

I remember watching The Comeback on TV. My then-wife wanted me to take her somewhere when the score was 35-3. I told her the Bills could still come back. She asked, "Has any team ever come back from such a big hole?" I acknowledged that, no, never. But hope always lives in the heart of a Bills fan until the time expires. Considering we authored "The Comeback" with a backup QB, I don't know how fans could leave with Josh under center and we're only down by 15.

This is some serious Broncos '77 Seconds' heebie-jeebies... and Marv's 100th Birthday to boot! For those who were not around for 77 seconds, that's where it all started. -
How many times did Bernard get pancaked tonight?

Small linebackers usually are not going to fare well when your defensive line can’t offer some resistance. -

I was just coming to say congrats. Hopefully we can do it again in January. Hopefully we don't self-destruct yet again -
He did kinda get in his own way a few times in a night that was still absolutely stellar overall of course. Some of the heat Brady is taking were plays Josh checked into…a lot of the times they were the right decision too the ravens just tackled their asses off that slide was straight up bizarre like he def got it but probably shouldn’t have given the refs the chance to blow the spot given our recent history 😂
-
Zero problems with the officiating night. They let both sides play. They had one bad spot on Allen's slide and nothing else to complain about.
-
Exactly, sometimes early in a game we're so damm conservative with JA. Let him eat and don't be afraid of opening it up. Too many predictable runs for Cook tonight.
-
I never thought I’d say this but I think that Keon Coleman is Josh Allen’s WR#1.
-
I counted at least 3 times tonight Terel Bernard got put on his ass. He had a poor game tonight. Especially in the run game. In fact Milano and Bernard didn’t look great. Could some issues be brewing at LB?

Not smart enough for my own thread but a couple of notes now that I'm home from the game and I am a season ticket holder. 1. The 8pm crowd is different than the 1/4. It was shocking how slow the crowd was to get into it. This was maybe the least rowdy Hopener I can rember since pre EJ Manuel. My entire section was seated and quiet on the first two defensive drives. 2. Piggy backing on 1, it was INSANE to me that a third or more of the stadium left with 10 minutes on the clock, down two possessions, with Josh Allen at QB. I was embarrassed. WTF. Have we become that over privileged? Are we the Patriots? It gave me KC AFCCG vibes. I was there and 10's of 1000's of KC fans were leaving with Buffalo still alive. 3. I thought this game be won by whatever team ironed out their early season wrinkles first, I thought it would be by 2 scores, but it wouldn't really matter. I was wrong on all counts. 4. We won today because of Josh. But he was rusty for sure. A couple of plays he should have taken off and he threw some bad balls instead. A couple of head scratchers. That will all get worked out. Worth mentioning but not a concern. 5. Bernard wearing 8 is something I'm not used to and I'm not sure I ever will be. Pretty sure I hate it. 6. I expected a couple of blows assignments to crack this game open. I didn't expect Bernard to get out on Flowers 1v1 on multiple occasions. And I didn't expect Benford to get targeted for so many large gains. 7. I like James Cook. I am glad he was extended. But man, I was hoping he'd be a three down back after signing his extension. His lack of presence on the final drive was frustrating. $12M, game on the line, and still on the sidelines. Thats partially on him and McBrady. -
I think Lamar is a good QB and I don't blame them for supporting their QB. But, yeah, if you had to choose the MVP based on tonight's performance, Josh is the man. In retrospect, Raven fans chanting MVP for Lamar is kind of amusing. Thanks for reminding me!

He was totally unblocked. The Bills lineman on the edge went for the outermost rusher and Hamilton was inside and untouched and ran free to the ball. Someone missed an assignment. When it happened live for an instant I thought it was blocked. Could you imagine if it was omg -

Not sure if 15 in the last 5 minutes were at play here but in 2022 the Dolphins needed and scored 28 points in the 4th quarter to beat the Ravens that dominated them all game. I remember Fins fans started getting cocky after that. It was 35-14 at the start of the 4th in that game. -

I was laughing. Jackson gave him an easy push back. No harm no foul on that one. All fun and games. -
JA17, just like with the OL, makes guys look better than they are. The fact he can throw absolute dimes to every level of the field makes their job easy. If they get open, he will throw it. It's all on them after that.
