Jags listening to trade calls for Brian Thomas

Considering Clayton only had 55 targets.. and Brian Thomas Jr has 55 targets and less yards than what Clayton had on 55 targets... But if it's 7 yd it shows Target for Target they're right there -

Beane will never do a deal like this after the Diggs trade and the little tirade he had when he was questioned about the WR room that off season He would have to own up to his failure to get Josh a premier wideout that he should absolutely have -
Mad Max activated from IR and is expected to play vs the Panthers

I swear to god, if he allows a catch on the first drive I’m burning something down -

Clayton also dealt with a ton of injuries after his rookie year. The comparison is meh -
The guy literally forced his way out and you'd take him back?

I do still have to push back on the Clayton thing. Again, that's an anomaly. Even with his horrific start, he's on pace for 886yds, which I would still categorize it as a sophomore slump. Clayton never even cracked 500yds, after his rookie season . Thomas already has more than what Clayton did in his entire 2nd year. I think we are far off before we can make that comparison. -
It’s a risk, sure. So is every draft pick. I agree that something is up….but something could have to do with his current team, coaching, QB, passing coordinator having a negative affect on his psyche/performance. Something as much as a change of scenery could be just what he needs. Maybe not… based on what I’ve seen from him playing vs nfl talent to date, I’d roll the dice. If he’s busts, oh well. Many of our picks bust. He was being thrown into the borderline elite category by many just months ago. Considering our need for everything he possessed last season, it’s a calculated risk imo

Or, it was a previous regime that drafted him. The new regime traded a lot to get Travis Hunter and now maybe want to get some picks back.... -

Players born today wont be ready for McDermotts defense in 2060. -
I think these are fair points and yet again point to the fact BBB is forced into selecting need vs talent, largely due to his own roster construction, especially in the early rounds. I think it’s unfair to categorize Kincaid as a slot, as you referenced. He does a lot of work in the MOF but is not going to be playing the same Z or H role that a slot wr would be. I am not here to say that Ladd SHOULD have been the pick over Coleman. No one could have forecasted how things have turned out…I am simply responding to the retort i often here for why Ladd wasn’t a consideration and it just doesn’t seem to be a valid excuse to me give the fact that Beane has repeatedly doubled down on positions at time (Groot/Basham, Walker/Sanders,) in early rounds while paying guys who are already on the roster being paid at the same position.

The thing about Sammy Watkins is that he made most of his yards in college out of screen plays. Buffalo didn't... I like @Kirby Jacksons idea of a trade with Arizona for Baker and JR -
I will take 100 receptions and whatever you think his toxicity is over any one of the Bills current or former WRs during the Allen era.

I respect your opinion of a 2nd round value. That would provably be the bottom end of this trade value, with the top end as a 1+. Depends on your appetite for risk. -
Dude anything can happen with Allen at QB. The defense has collapsed every year, and Allen almost overcame it. Kincaid dropped a pass. Bass missed a FG. Its not just the defense. Allen has these slumps every year and he is the best playoff QB of all time. Just get in the show. Stop worrying about top seed. Colts are getting that and I would love to face Daniel Jones in AFC Championship game though Colts probably lose in the Divisional round.

How is that being a downer? He missed a ton of camp and almost 2 months of the season. Bishop comes to mind. There's a lot to be learned from his situation when it comes to expectations when missing a ton of time. I'm hopeful that he will get up to speed but realistically I can't imagine him being a huge impact tomorrow. But what do I know.

I'm skeptical that KA is willing to eat that error and also that Lord Terrance is willing to pay that contract in Rochester. Furthermore, if you waive him to Rochester who is the #1 in Rochester? Doesn't he then interfere with The Chosen One's minutes in Rochester? On top of that how much do you trust the tiny sample sizes of the other goalies? Lyon is performing well above his career numbers and Ellis has a total of one NHL game. The likelihood is that UPL will get several more starts at a minimum before they make any sort of decision and he will have to be epically terrible during those starts to end up the odd man out.

Again, I don't care. How would that flame out be any different than what Beane has drafted in the first round most years?

What happens if we trade that first round pick and he becomes worse of a flame out than Sammy Watkins Sammy Watkins has way more talent as a wide receiver and he floundered everything.. Why would this team be giving up a future All pro 23 games into his career? That's the biggest question.. he was this bonafide number one the jaguars wouldn't be running him out of town even with Travis Hunter because he's on a cheap rookie contract -
I don't care. I'm tired of "character issues" or "mental issues". The dude is too talented. If we had been hitting on first round picks to this point, I would agree with you 100% but Beane's track record and drafting what could very well be another mediocre at best player next year with another first round pick is just dumb if you can get a guy like BTJ in here. We could draft a guy in the first round that turns out to be a head case. But which one do you think Beane would catch flack for? I would say the unproven hesd case which still may not be very good as opposed to a guy like BTJ just maybe needs a change of scenery
