Well, we had Matt Barkley at punter one preseason game. Maybe we bring him back. -
Definitely looking like a FA bust signing
-
Seems to me he cannot make a single decision regarding immigration policies in this country, true?
-
Makes it sound like he's constipated.

That wasnt the HK Producers asking hard hitting questions and putting them on the spot for their most recent failure. Everything you mentioned was simply sitting back and capturing it on tape and then replaying it. Which is exactly what entertainment documentaries do. Any mentions of the failures is because it is typically a bad team that is under the gun and that is their entire story line that makes them interesting. All they had were failures. Browns sucked, Bengals sucked, Miami sucked. That's the story line. They had no big-personality MVP to focus on. Also, the things you mentioned all happened at least a few episodes in. We'll see some of that same "realness" in a couple weeks once we get to cut time.

Davan Harmon? I believe he was a 7th round pick from by the Browns in 2022. Bounced around on a few different practice squads. He just hasn't found a long term home yet
-
Samuel would count $8 mil on our dead cap this year and another $3+ mil in 2026 if cut, he will be a Bill through 2025 I believe. He will def be cut next year. Yea we will see. Definitely a guy I root for, but someone I think us fans value more than another team would.

His agent works for him. Not the other way around. His agent may advise him...but Cook has free will to listen or tell him "Hey, get the deal done or I'll find someone who will" Agents always get scapegoated as the villain in the process. But Cook is a grown man who can make his own decisions. This is on him..

They said they brought in two kickers yesterday -
So what will happen on Saturday if Bass continues to sit out and not kick? Do we even have anyone that can do kickoffs? Can Robbins? I can't really believe Davis will end up doing all of the kicking...
-
Could special-teamed/WR Shenault be on the WR list, making it 7, or replacing one of the 6?

Last season, he climbed up to fourth overall. He was targeted on 10.1% of passes when he was on the field, one of the lowest figures in the league, and he allowed just 6.1 yards per target.“

Agreed. I'm getting older so maybe my memory fails me a bit. But IIRC Shavers looked good in camp last year and it didn't translate well to the preseason games. If he can show out even a bit this year in the games I think it gets harder to slip him to PS. If he makes a bunch of plays on offense this preseason then it gets far more likely. Daboll is always sniffing around our leftovers. -
He is likely getting instructions from his agent. Holding out is sh*tty, but it HAS worked in the past. More teams needs to start taking the Steelers/Leveon Bell route and call their bluffs.
-
You clearly didn’t watch the show in the earlier seasons (or you’re forgetting). My favorite season is when they aired full out fights between the coaches of the Browns, including the head coach and the offensive coordinator. Chad Johnson getting cut on camera and Vontae Davis being traded on camera was pretty wild too. Also, they 1000000% focused on the teams most recent failure in most seasons. That was literally most of the first episode for the first dozen seasons.

If it comes down to Moore or Samuel, I'm guessing Samuel's the goner. -

He's one of the most influential right wing grifters media types on the planet lmao -
Benford's only one of the top CBs in the league in the minds of the Bills fan base. Not saying he's not good. He's good for what he does. But is he a top 5 guy? Absolutely not. Edit: I also certainly would NOT say any WR drafted by this front office is a "home run." Shakir is, like Benford, only a top WR in the minds of Bills fans.
-
I agree it’s not impossible he unseats Moore (who I am one of the most critical posters on), but I’d still be surprised. Unless Shavers plays very well in preseason, I think they will feel like they can get him to the practice squad. Then they get three elevations before having to commit a roster spot to him.

First episode focused a little too much on Josh for me. Obviously I love the guy and understand why Hard Knocks would focus on him but was hoping to see more of players who don't get tons of camera time. Also I accuse Terry of excessive meddling in the Sabres and multiple times I have gotten the "well, we only get edited video clips, so we don't REALLY know how much he meddles." Which is fair, but my counterargument would be that if you’re a huge Bills and Sabres fan and watch most videos both organizations' media teams have put out over the last 10 years and your synthesis of hundreds of hours of clips is that it seems like he meddles too much, he probably meddles too much.
