Does anyone use Buffalobills.com anymore?

Agreed. I get we have a lot of old BBMB refugees here, but I agree. That message board was trash. I am guessing there is just some nostalgia there from the refugees. -
Here is where the Bills rank in both passing and rushing attempts and yards over the last 5 years: PASSING RUSHING YEAR Atts Yds Atts Yds 2024 26th 9th 9th 9th 2023 16th 8th 5th 7th 2022 14th 8th 20th 9th 2021 5th 9th 13th 6th 2020 11th 3rd 17th 20th Not quite sure what to make of all of that. You can kind of see the flip in the rushing and passing attempts over the last two years, but the strange thing is that regardless of attempts, our overall ranking in yards has stayed pretty consistent over the last four years (2020 being the only outlier). Bills passing attempts and yards last 5 years (fyi): 2024: 520 for 3,875 2023: 579 for 4,154 2022: 574 for 4,129 2021: 655 for 4,284 2020: 596 for 4,620 Yeah Elijah Moore, and to a lesser extent Curtis Samuel, are the wild cards. I'm an optimistic fan, so I still think Samuel is a really good player and Moore is probably better than he's been able to show with the circumstances he was in (and he hasn't been a slouch as it is). It's just so hard to find enough balls to go around. Which is why I find it funny when people complain about weapons for Josh. We don't have that All-Pro #1 WR, but I think we have a ton of weapons (of course, I'm probably also higher on Keon, Kincaid, and Samuel in particular than some fans at this point). But...Shakir, Palmer, Coleman, Samuel, Moore, Kincaid, Knox, Cook, Davis, and Johnson. That's 10 guys that are already proven in the league (well not sure if you would call Keon proven yet, but...). I think it's a pretty strong and solid cast overall. With the "everybody eats" mentality, it may come down to the hot hand, whose playing best at any given time (and also designing certain games for certain players based on opponents). So, for instance, if they think speed would work better against a particular defense, then maybe Moore and Samuel get more snaps than Keon and/or Palmer that particular game. And of course, there is a chance that Moore plays well and demands more playing time. But as it is right now, my guess would be that he and Samuel will be used more situationally (so will be 4th and 5th in WR targets). But who knows. It will be fun to see how they try to use everyone this season.

Taylor Rapp underrated? Espn thinks so!

Not to be a jerk - but what leads you to believe he has Receiving upside? More than Lee Smith, sure. But that's not saying much of anything. There were probably Offensive Lineman that had more Receiving upside than Lee Smith. Through 4 years in College at Yale and Georgia Tech, he averaged 12 catches for 141 yards and 1.5 TD's a year. His career highs in College were 16 catches (2024), 195 yards (2024), and 4 TD's (2022). He'll be replacing the role Quintin Morris had with us as the Blocking TE. Morris' stats coming out of College at Bowling Green were an average of 10 catches, 382 yards, and 3.25 TD's a year. His career highs in College were 12 catches (2018 and 2019), 649 yards (2019), and 7 TD's (2018). Coming out of College, Morris had shown more ability as a Receiver than Hawes did. And we saw what he brought to the table as a Receiving option. I think if you're saying he'll be a "force" as a Blocker and a better Blocker than Morris was - that's fair. And i'd love for him to exceed expectations, just like any Bills player. But I'm just not seeing the Receiving upside that you and others have said he has. Even his biggest supporters in the Draft said he's a great "Blocking TE".

Schatz is the guy who once called Allen "a parody of a NFL quarterback" and also said, "the idea that Josh Allen could become an elite NFL quarterback pretty much defies math.” I can't say I trust his judgment. -
I ignore Donald's rhetoric (he's a professional salesman and pitch artist after all). I look at his actions. His words are populist, transformative and unconventional. His actions/policies are fairly similar to George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. He's looked into Putin's eyes and seen his soul. He's for supply side economics. He thinks deficits don't matter. He makes a stink about DEI/Affirmative Action/Political Correctness. And so on, and so on. All the tariff shenanigans are just the virtue-signaling and grandstanding. W would have executed the same things quietly via smoky backrooms using the Bretton Woods architecture. But then he wouldn't have gotten as much credit or burnished his personal brand. He has successfully repackaged and sold the Country Club GOP's agenda, because JEB! and his ilk were too hooked on West Wing re-runs, and because Donald's part of the Country Club.

Orlando Buffalo replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Rapp is a good Safety, but not elite. He made several strong plays most notably for me against the Jets in making the game saving tackle where most Safeties would have been toast. He was solid throughout the year but not "special". -
It's on TwoBillsDrive, not the Stadium Wall.

Yes, and frequently. They do a very good job with interviews and features. Not infrequently, they even hit a homerun, or is it a touchdown; the Tasker "Might be chilly" was the best Bills media moment I can remember from any source. -
Among Bills fans he is for sure. He played pretty well last year and his presence was missed when he missed games.

Potential Derek Chauvin Pardon

If the perp dies due to a drug overdose, the cause of his death was his decision to take a drug and overdose. If you rear end another vehicle and the driver subsequently dies because of fentanyl abuse during an argument, how much time you willing to do? -

I would like to ask a pointed question- one I might like the answer but here I go- is there a concept you see that the Republicans are crazy about in a similar way? To me the Republicans simply suck less and the Dems are completely nuts on several concepts. -

When did Sal start writing for ESPN??? -
In-the-box safety is the new slot receiver. It’s what we got, and a little variety would be great. I hope one of the new guys is a fit.
-
that's the crux though. what charge if not murder if said perp dies? unlawful holding . death no biggie hmm

Hmm. What do I think? Video evidence is important, but doesn’t tell the whole story. If fentanyl caused the death of a suspect in a scuffle with an officer, charges may be appropriate against an officer but murder seems unreasonable to me. -

If 2018 was the dress rehearsal, this is the full blown Broadway production of gaslighting, ballot harvesting, and media cover-ups. Buckle up. -
Well, if ESPN says so…..🥱

Carrying the water for the rich folks. Well done. Whatever the number is -- maybe it's even 37 -- it's a lot more than it would be in your flat tax idea. So if you're all for more giveaways to the rich, then go for it. We agree to disagree. *** And, I can't believe I missed this. A Trump voter complaining about class warfare. This is rich. Trump thrives on demonizing and dividing. But "fair share" is unacceptable. -

Didn’t Rapp catch McCaffery by the shin from behind before that game got out of control? That was a TD saving tackle. I think Rapp is accurately rated though. Below average strong safety. Passable as a starter if the other positions around him are good. Gets out of position in pass coverage pretty easily. Overcommits and injures himself and his teammates with reckless play. -

I made up an expression Leo. Say it Forget it View it Regret it Video is evidence that is very hard to refute. I think it is the best evidence. Eyewitness view of any given situation and any biases they have may be affect their interpretation And usually does I think if you are caught on tape its hard to lie your way out of it. No visibility breeds conjecture I'm so wordy lately. I'm sure someone could say that better and more succinctly and you also know I won't reply unless I have something possibly worthwhile to say whadayathink?
