  1. Past hour
  2. @Joe Marino spotlighted him on the Locked on Bills podcast this morning.
  3. No. Next draft will be all safety and DL. We'll pick up some scrap heap WRs in FA that everyone will lose their minds over in the offseason only to see in preseason games why they were on the scrap heap
  4. I think it's an indictment of our system more than anything. Tampa 2 with overly sensitive reads and complex schemes makes it hard to digest and process in real time.
  5. I’ll be very upset if we re-sign Gabe Davis. The main reason Josh’s interceptions decreased was that he was no longer throwing to Davis, who was the target resulting in most of his interceptions. This would be worse than bring back Hamlin
  6. The Bills need more players who play big in big games. That's Gabe Davis. There's zero reason not to do this
  7. I still have scar tissue from 56-10 on Sunday Night Football.
  8. Ya, but multiple times exist where Allen and Gabe weren't on the same page resulting in INT's or failed conversions. Gabe is not a good WR and our consideration to bringing him on the roster is a direct reflection of our talent. Tory Horton lasted until the 5th round and we didn't even deem it necessary to take flyer. The Beane love on this site has just gone too far. This roster is depleted at WR, DB, and is finger crossing at DL.
  9. I don't know if he's even healthy enough to play yet. When he visited Pittsburgh earlier this year he didn't pass their medical checks. I hope we are bringing him in just to do our due diligence in case we need him in an emergency situation later in the year. The offense immediately became more efficient and less mistake prone when Brady took over and started diverting targets away from Davis. I have very little interest in bringing his high variance play style back into the fold. I guess if he's used in a very very limited role I'd be okay with it.
  10. How about the colts playoff game? How about the 13 seconds game? Those games happened. In season altering spots Josh went to Gabe. Let’s be real here. Diggs and Josh looked like they weren’t on the same page at the end too…we going to act like they didn’t have chemistry?
  11. Ironically, Gabe is a guy no one seems to want. Remove the injury plagued year last season and he is more productive than Palmer and Moore who everyone seems to want. If Gabe is willing to play teams I'm all for it. Even not he does all the little things blocking wise Moore does not.
  12. One of these years we'll have a good offense!
  13. One of these years Beane will stop butchering the WR position. Maybe next year. Maybe 2027. Hard to tell at this point.
  14. We talking about Gabe Davis still? He and Josh had zero chemistry. So many times they were on different pages. A lot of people like to chime in that once we lost Diggs Allen won MVP. The bigger reason Allen's play ascended last year was we also lost Gabe Davis. I guess this board just likes having WRs that drop the ball A LOT. That run to the wrong spot. That have a low catch rate and a higher than normal rate of passes being intercepted when targeted.
  15. There were multiple playoff games where Davis was the guy Josh went to time after time in big spots. The first playoff run season was the Gabe Davis we need. He was the 4th guy, wasn’t on the field constantly fresh legs. Made countless big plays down the sideline. He’s not a guy you run out there to be a starting WR. But he’s the perfect rotational WR for this offense
  16. This thread has already exceeded expectations.
  17. Right - he plays the snaps behind palmer and coleman. Gets open downfield. Plus blocker. Has some "clutch". He did end up missing the playoff games that year with an injury and we ended up getting to see what playing trent sherfield for 66 snaps looked like.
  18. Might actually be a better fit in Brady's offense. He is an excellent blocker.
  19. Last night while watching the Bengals - Commanders I was surprised the Bengals played Burrow as long as they did. He was getting hit and sacked a few times as well. I am glad the Bills don't do that with Allen although it probably wouldn't hurt if Josh would get one series in these preseason games.
  20. And so is Davis…even though he isn’t hurt.
  21. Well, if Josh wants him back, he's probably coming back.
  22. Our receiver room is not the greatest and Samuel can't stay healthy to save his life. This could just be a workout to gauge where he's at in case of emergency.
  23. Moore or Samuel or both may be done.
  24. So much chemistry that he was getting ZERO targets a game sometimes during the second half of his last season here.
  25. Most people really don't see or know how a GM contributes because it's done largely behind closed doors. Those same people will see McD's in-game decisions and player performance and focus on those elements...but what is it that got them there during the regular season? It's Beane and McD's decisions to their philosophy, their schemes, and the players who they select. That's all the off-season/behind closed-doors stuff. 2025 is going to be an interesting season for this reason. Either their plan works or it doesn't. No more room to double down because hey did that this past off-season.
