  2. Not according to intel sources (Germany): Iran Is Cheating on the Nuclear Deal Post by Elliott Abrams July 11, 2016 11:57 am (EST) https://www.cfr.org/blog/iran-cheating-nuclear-deal Where is the source for this?
  3. Pitchers most bear the brunt. The great Koufax said he quit when he did because otherwise he’d not have a usable left arm anymore.
  4. Bill has an opt clause in his UNC contract. His record when he has had an elite level franchise QB speaks for itself. Granted Brady is the GOAT, but Allen is much closer to Brady than Mac Jones. Bill is also a better DC than Sean and manages the game better as a HC. You don't get to 9 Super Bowls and win 6 of them by luck. With that said McDermott isn't getting fired so we have to hope he can figure it out and get the Bills to the Super Bowl and win it.
  5. This is what I mean by relentless stupidity. I have never claimed anything was right or wrong. So you pose the question about something I have never said and then ask me how I could know that? There's nothing ad hominem about it. It's just stupid. And regarding the silly comment from another poster suggesting the Iranians didn't engage the strike group because they didn't want to get into a larger thing with the US, do you know what was in that strike group and what the results would have been if they lit it up, or at least lit up what they could see? I guess that's why they allowed the Israelis to take out their air defense, IRGC command structure and a good deal of their above ground nuc program.
  6. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2025/06/26/trump-presidency-news/ Gen. Dan Caine, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, declined Thursday to echo President Donald Trump’s assessment that the United States “obliterated” Iran’s nuclear sites with recent airstrikes. “We don’t do BDA,” Caine said during a Pentagon news conference, using the abbreviation for battle damage assessment. “I’ll refer that to the intelligence community.” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth interjected moments later and said he — not Caine — is responsible for public messaging around the attack. “I can use the word ‘obliterated,’” Hegseth said, adding that he is extremely intoxicated, so take that for what you will. 🤣 Caine later denied feeling any political pressure on how to characterize the impact of the strikes. “No, I have not, and no, I would not,” Caine said. ---- But we have satellites, blah blah Point still stands, Obama had a deal to push it back 15 years. This only pushes it back a few at most
  7. I'm sorry, are you trying to tell me that One Bills Live is not just fair and balanced reporting and that they don't have the freedom to be as critical as they want to be of any facet of the Bills organization? I found the Beane WGR incident both refreshing and cringy. It was strange and cathartic. I think WGR is among the worst sports radio of any NFL city. Their content blows, their programming is lazy, and their sports IQ is too low for how arrogant and condescending they are. But at the same time, Beane my guy, if you can't handle Schopp's garbage and patronizing takes you'd have a hard time in other cities. This is a bit more of an aggressive take than I would say, but we're in the same arena. I think the WGR moment and whatever happened with PFF is likely partially due to being coddled by local media. The staff is at a tipping point. The expectations are leveled up so he's gone from hero and saving the franchise to being partially blamed for falling short of the new expectations.
  8. Shall we roll the dice and waste Allen’s prime years starting over and revamping the roster to fit the new schemes for the new HC and coordinators? I’ll stick with what we’ve got in lieu of a gamble on a new guy.
  9. I'm a McDermott supporter on this board. Having said that, if a real hot coach--and I can't think of an example, somebody credible, became available -- I would replace McDermott. However, there is no one available who is a step up from McDermott. That is my disagreement with the "fire McDermott" posters. Sure, fire him, but replace him with what?
  10. "Irv Weinstein, you’re really a pro…You got all the news, that we want to know… You tell it like it is, and never throw us a curve, Nobody says it Like Irv"…. Eyewitness News! That jingle popped in my head as soon as I saw the title.
  11. That is a heartbreaking song. I’m so sorry that you lost your wife to such a cruel disease. But it sounds as if you had a great life and deep love for one another, and I’m thankful for you that you experienced that in your life. Hope you are doing well these days, my friend.
  12. Trump: We wiped out all nuclear sites The UN: Stating that Trump was successful in this operation, while using an analogy of a father breaking up a fight (which the media of course took out of context by pretending that analogies and metaphors don't exist) to demonstrate how successful they thought it was. Us Intel: Severe damage was done in Iran, but we do not know how much yet Most People: This was a good thing, we did not need Iran as a nuclear threat Many democrats: We still don't like Trump, but I am glad this happened, this individual attack was a success.. CNN, and NYT: Well technically he didnt do anything because we don't know if it is mostly or completely gone, and the Iranian leader said that no damage was done, so we will take his word for it and assume that Trump failed. This is yet another out of thousands of reasons why no one should see mainstream media as having any credibility anymore. They aren't just slanted towards a side anymore, they are so against one person and consumed by it, that they put themselves in a position of defending and rooting for an enemy country and taking the word of their leader over ours.
  13. I guess they are staying consistent with their last year's performance.
  14. Yeah I think those run-ins are probably the tip of the iceberg with Beane behind the scenes though. He's a shyster so I never had any doubt that he would attack media or make threats behind the scenes. The people who think he's just an ordinary "aw shucks" guy like he generally tries to portray himself as are the one's who he's puppeted. If his personnel work catches up with his skill in lying and manipulating he will get up there with Howie as a top GM. Hopefully that can coincide with Allen still being in his prime.
  15. They legit had the meeting, told people they weren't getting raises, and put up a slide about maintaining their family lifestyle. I am just a guy on the internet who was dating somebody in the building at that time. (Fun fact, Josh Allen moved to Corona because the Labatt rep no called/no showed to their meeting). I get it, you don't have to believe me. But it's also strange that you have a copy of the slide and an article about multiple sources also corroborating something similar and you still go "meh, I don't think this stranger I don't know would do that"
  16. This gets me right in the feelings no matter how many times I hear it.
  17. As a blues enthusiast I've certainly had a number of sad songs in my favorites mix. But this song I'm posting...ugh. Its not blues, its not really country either, but it has personal sentiments to me. If you want the backstory, fine, here it is. I've mentioned on here before, I lost my soulmate to cancer 5 1/2 years ago. Before she died, she wanted a celebration of life instead of a funeral. One day, she gave me a list of about 5 or 6 songs to put on a mix to play at the COL. This song was on the list. I knew the singer, but had never heard of the song. Joey Feek died of cancer a few years after recording this song. I looked at the title and said to my wife, "you must really hate me, you don't think I'll be grieving enough without hearing that song?" She said, "fine", crossed it off the list and added another. And yes, I put in in the mix. When it played at her COL, the person I was talking to at the time, I asked that it person to talk a little louder so I didn't hear it. It took me a year to be able to listen to it in its entirety. 5 + years later, I still can't hear it without shedding a tear or two. So yeah, there it is.
  18. “communist terrorist” Come onnnnnnnnnnnn
  19. Agree with most of what you said except for the last part. I don’t see the Dems trying to unite the country. Especially Biden.
  20. Absolutely embarrassing to still be listening to ANYTHING coming from the media without the strictest scrutiny imaginable
  21. Very difficult to argue with this post. 👍
  22. Sure! The Owners had a big meeting and put a PowerPoint presentation together that told their employees ‘you need to work harder so I can vacation in Aspen’……sure, that sounds right!
  23. I obviously disagree strongly on John Harbaugh. I think he is an excellent coach, his ability to adjust in season is really underrated. I think he is an excellent leader (as is Tomlin) but Harbaugh is a better football strategist. I did consider LaFleur for my second group - the wouldn't swap either way group - but I get similar levels of game management faux pas and under peformance by his unit in playoff exists and I don't get the same leadership I do with McDermott. Therefore overall I think he is less talented as a football coach - albeit he is on the more valuable side of the ball in 2025.
