  1. Past hour
  2. You are too stupid to respond to. Approach charts have minimum altitudes at various distances that must be adhered to. They are there for a reason, like in this case, a ridge line with extending power poles. This is aviation 101. You abide by them and you are safe. Want an explanation? I'm sure you can't figure it out. Why did this plane crash I'm glad you mentioned fixing "real problems," because that's what our current Sect of Transportation is doing. Quite unlike the last knucklehead who was more concerned about removing male nomenclature and hiring/promoting based on race and gender. It doesn't matter what is available or out of service on the ground. Period.
  3. Cincy usually starts off painfully slow, I’m with you. Once they get clicking it’s hard to stop them. Regardless of what the numbers from last year say, I don’t trust the Bills to match their point total if it becomes a shoot out. Their weapons are still far better and Burrow vs Allen is basically a push. Baltimore is the type of offense that should come out of the gate hitting on most of their cylinders. They are made in the running game, Jackson gets chunk plays on the most basic routes that are usually a result of busted coverage. That’s the hardest things for any team to stop early in the year, especially when the Bills are expected to be rolling out a lot of new defensive players. I don’t like the matchup. I’d rather see them around week 10 as a little bit of a gauge yourself game. The rookies would be up to speed, Jackson and Henry will have taken a few more hits and aren’t quite as dynamic. The same thing can be said of the Bills I suppose, but the Bills aren’t a power running team aside from Allen and again, aren’t as explosive either. Allen is the guy I want all day every day, but Jackson is more explosive as a runner and tends to get more big chunks passing because for everything he’s not, he is very good at deep balls, especially when guys are running wide open, which happens a lot because he has to be spied and Henry doesn’t allow you to play a soft zone without getting you run over. I know I’m in the minority, but I consider Baltimore the biggest hurdle in the AFC. Jackson hasn’t been great in the playoffs, so there’s that, but KC is on the decline a bit and Buffalo is trending up, I THINK they can get over that hump. Baltimore is a bad matchup on paper.
  4. If you're implying after Week 6 when we have Hoecht and in the scenario that everyone has stayed healthy along the DE position, maybe. But before then, it would be risky to do so and may be a downgrade. Bosa isn't going to play more than 50% of snaps and probably shouldn't be overused bc he's historically a walking injury waiting to happen. So you're asking a 3rd Round Rookie to take on a pretty big role right out of the gate before his sea legs are under him. And with Bosa being an injury risk, if he were injured - we'd be asking Jackson to start before Hoecht got here, as we'd be down to only 4 DE's. We'd also be leaning on Solomon a bunch too. We have no idea what Jackson is right now (or really Solomon either). Historically, we don't generally rush Rookies after Round 2 into big roles. Epenesa might not be more than a slightly below average starter, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have value in a rotation. We know what his ceiling is and what his floor is. I think we need him until we know where we're at with Jackson (and Solomon for that matter), see what the health of the room is, and get Hoecht back after Week 6. Right now, I think you roll with a 4 rotation of Groot, Bosa, AJE, and Jackson.
  5. I was going to say I’m a happier fan during the Josh Allen era. Being OAF I at least got to enjoy the Jim Kelly era. My daughters are getting a good dose of playoff disappointment, I can only shake my head and tell them if they only knew real disappointment like losing 4 in a row, wide right, no goal, home run throw back…🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️😢😢😢
  6. Cricket came to us already named. She was on “death row” in a shelter down in South Carolina somewhere, and was brought up to Vermont to a shelter where we adopted her. It was abundantly clear right away that she had been horribly abused. It became clear that she was abused by an adult male. It took probably 6 weeks before Cricket would even look at me. She would interact with my wife and children, but would tuck tail and hide behind the couch when I came in the room. I didn’t force her to accept me. Every day, two or three times a day, I would literally crawl a few feet into the room she was in and let her see me leave a treat for her on the floor. I progressively made it closer and closer without her fleeing. Eventually she would let me pet her a little bit and now we’re pals. She still follows my wife around the house all the time, but I’ll take it. She’s a sweet old girl. Just turned 14 years old in March.
  7. Exactly!!!! Complete stupidity, too predictable. Easily fixable you would hope.
  8. Agree on both accounts. I really despise KAT. The guy plays soft, and is always whining and flopping every time he is touched. Pacers also absolutely abused him on D.
  9. Be careful for what you wish for. The Ravens had one of the better drafts this year to add to their D side of the ball as well. They will be a better team opening day at home then what we played in the playoffs last year. This game at home will not be a gimmee at all. I just hope we did enough on D this year... We are going to need a huge elevation of "D" CB play on this side of the ball this year. We can only wait and see through mini camp and preseason. I think the suspensions of DE Hoecht and DT Ogunjobi could cost us in this game, but this game will be a slug fest for sure.
  10. When you can’t deal with the facts, attack the messenger. Classic deflection but let’s dismantle the nonsense anyway: Outages like this aren't "abnormal" when a plane brings down power lines. That’s not just bad luck it’s a failure of infrastructure resilience, and pretending otherwise is willful ignorance. Blaming “local funding” doesn’t erase the reality that decades of underinvestment which the Biden’s administration tried to address through legislation your side opposed is exactly why everything is so fragile in the first place. And yes, the pilot made an error - in the fog - while trying to land at an airport where both the runway lights and weather alert systems weren’t working. That’s not just pilot error; that’s systemic neglect. Some of us are actually focused on fixing real problems. The rest just get angry when the blame is correctly placed on white, straight, male status quo.
  11. Of course none of us want this to be a distraction to the team or have any kind of an impact on the goals of having a great season and winning the Super Bowl, but as a fan, I am excited to get to see the players, coaches and management of this team in this way (i.e., seeing what is behind the curtain). Given the overall focus of our front office and coaches on acquiring players with character and leadership qualities, I expect that the players will show to be professional and likable. I also hope that what appears to be a strong team culture will be evident from this season of Hard Knocks and elevate the general interest in the Bills (both in terms of more fans and player interest in being a part of it).
  12. He may be too scrambled to make anything of himself. Dallas has been getting a lot from their corners so if he’s going to be anything that’s a solid shot.
  13. Just a reminder, today at 4:30 PM, Bandits vs Rush for all the marbles. Promo and Wacka have you covered for the TV outlets.
  14. These posts from someone who has no idea of the subject matter, and are clearly intended for political purposes. Outages such as these are not abnormal, and have more to do with local funding. They are not abnormal, and have nothing to do with this accident, where a guy simply violated the altitude restrictions on an approach, and flew into power lines.
  15. Gotta admit. I whiffed on your sentiment. Especially since you eye rolled that post.
  16. Today
  17. Epenesa is a slightly below average DE starter. He's not a decent player. If you can get something for him and save $6.2m against the cap you do it. Maybe use that money to extend McGovern or give you the flexibility to add a WR at the trade deadline again (or any other position where injuries crop up). If Jackson is who we hope he is then we could role with Rousseau, Bosa, Jackson, Hoecht, and Soloman. I agree with you about Miller though. He's washed.
  18. Apparently, it'll still going to open in July with normal games for the season while construction is finishing. Grab a hard hat and reflective vest and look for the workers entrance. Free game!
  19. Yes. And New Era ain't no Tremaine Edmunds either.
  20. Homelander thinks using word salad makes him intelligent. He used the Biden administration in the same sentence as accomplished. He's got tds that's all. Just another sad grown man whining about Trump and authoritarianism like covid didt exist. The fact that he popped up right after trump won says everything. He's a troll at best, BillStime at worst.
