I look at it as a safe alternative to a balloon. They are both rolls of rhe dice, but you can live with the 50 until the interest rates come down.

Who do we want, who do we need as our next HC and, or GM?
SoonerBillsFan replied to jaybeezee's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hence the GM who can find a couple damn WR's. BUT... it does use the TE and RB a lot. As for Josh... Call Elway, have him tell him what going from strongest arm in the NFL to the WCO did for his career. -

I have been leaning Kiffin as well. I think he got fd w/ davis and oakland. I think you are right on the swagger thing. If nothing else it would be entertaining for sure. -
was it merged into another similar thread?

Mecole Hardman, Come on Down! (Signed to Practice Squad)
Paup 1995MVP replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
I can’t imagine he is playing before the Pittsburgh game after Thanksgiving. The guy is a stud. But very fragile. Josh does need to play better. He seems jumpy some in the pocket. But I think his waning confidence is because he has no studs to throw to. And an offense that he is probably very bored with. He needs something to energize him. A fiery offensive minded head coach is just what the doctor is ordering. -
These are what I'm seeing too. Mechanics off on both those throws. Thanks for posting. By no means are those "miraculous throws". There are plenty of NFL qbs capable of deep ball accuracy/touch --- Josh isnt showing that ability and to some extent, has struggled throughout his career. Thats the difference with this season vs LY. Reads, ball placement, mechanics. Its those 3-4 plays a game that he is missing, that didnt happen LY.

So I submitted a post yesterday. Had a few replies, all positive, and a fair number of views. Nobody was questioning the content of the post. It included no offensive wording. But whomever the grand wizard is behind the curtain decided to remove it. So I submitted an email asking for an explanation - no response. I guess I was mistaken when I thought this board was for loyal Bills fans to express their views as long as the post didn't include offensive content. I have no clue as to who makes the rules for the Board and I have enjoyed the ongoing Bills banter but I think the Board deserves better transparency.

Geezus dude, taker you Haterade glasses off for one second. If you cant see how thats easily a 5-6 yard gain min on completion then I don't think you are capable of having any type of rational discussion or just don't know what you are looking at. Keon is at the 35 where the ball would have been completed and can turn up field for another yard or 2 easily on the catch. Its like you have no idea where that pass would be thrown on that route. Lets move on, you have no interest in logic, facts or reason. You only have a full blown agenda against Keon. Everyone and their mom knows this is a mistake by Allen to not take the yards and at the very least set up a 3rd and short instead of 3rd and 10. The fact you are arguing against it is one of the most absurd things I have seen this year. There is not point in discussing football with people only interested in a crusade.

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)

Yes, it will. But as I always told ‘my’ contractors: “Floor goes on the bottom and roof on the top.” Look like so far they’ve got it right. -

Fair enough. What then do you make of Spencer Brown's comments that "he" wasn't expecting a base defense? -

Who do we want, who do we need as our next HC and, or GM?
Kirby Jackson replied to jaybeezee's topic in The Stadium Wall
Honestly, Doug Pederson is a better coach. I am not advocating for him either. -
I'm more starting think the opposite, the problem isn't the coaching, but the players. But also not sure on who ultimately has picked the players. Does Beane have the biggest voice in the room on that, or the scouts, or McD, Is Pegula telling him who to pick? Or is it simply a consensus? I will say it is possible that it's getting to the point where the players are tuning McD out as that often happens when you have the same coach for a number of years. That's one benefit of losing, the coach is never around long enough for that to happen? Gruden had quite a few bad years, the one year he won it all were with a roster he didn't have that much input on putting together. Belichick only won with Brady, yeah Allen is as good as Brady, in some ways better, but doubtful he has the will to win that Brady did and that's not a knock on Allen. Belichick was also terrible at player selection, his first few years he had Paoli, once he left, things went downhill. Belichick also won alot due to "cheating", with social media and all the monitoring and camera's, think that's harder to get away with today too.

Were We Running Into a Stacked Box?
Buffalo716 replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
An elite running game doesn't get worried about a stacked box It gets drawn up, you block it correctly, execute and it's successful James Cook has had lots of success on eight man boxes in his career.. especially the last two seasons Most of your long touchdowns happen on a stack box.. because you only need to make one person Miss if you get to the second level That shows they were not executing their blocking assignments not anything the dolphins did.. because as I said most top pro bowl running backs salivate at the thought of a stacked box when you're in the groove Because they trust their vision and running instincts.. you hit the hole hard you just need one guy to beat.. everybody from Adrian Peterson to Chris Johnson thrived in that spot I'm pretty sure his long 60-yard rushing touchdown earlier was on an eight-man box also It seems the bills had a problem blocking it this week -

Spencer Brown said “They loaded the box well... they came out in base right on the first drive and I personally wasn’t expecting that.” If you read between the lines it's not too hard to figure out what he might really be saying. And considering the Bills didn't score until the 4th quarter, I'd say Brady was slow to adjust to the Dolphins strategy.
