Any of you bastiches have sciatica?
Johnnycage46 replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in Off the Wall
I woke up with it one night back in 2019 (my right leg was on fire and it had that feeling of stretching too far even while just lying there normally). My foot got a little tingly for a few weeks after that as well. It comes and goes here and there. The one thing I have noticed that reduced the frequency (along with general lower back pain) was quitting drinking altogether. I gave up drinking 5 years ago and I rarely get back pain or sciatica. Drinking causes inflammation, which is bad for any injury. -
McDermott finally listened to me! Blitz on hail mary’s and the receivers don’t have enough time to get all the way downfield. This works!

Just like the trades on draft day if it helps your team you make the deal. given the history of the dolphins organization if the bills sent a 2 and a 5 or whatever for waddle I am sure they would not be worried about what they do with the picks

Very well coached game - team was disciplined, structured, and didn't force anything on offense. Defense looked measured, have to think McD calling plays and coordinating with Poyer back there is helping. I dont understand why people are pooping on McD last night. He coached a very very good game. His timeout at the end of the half with 25 seconds left was perfect. Allowed his personnel to reset, put the goal line team in, and they made 3 great plays to hold the Chiefs to 3 points. In the past few years, whenever the Bills get their midseason win over the Chiefs it kicks them into gear and they go on a run. Last year was a 4-1 run to lock up the division and conference with a game in hand going into NE. Fingers crossed we continue that push this year -
Does it play "So long, farewell, Auf Wiedesehn, good night! I hate to go and leave this pretty sight!" when you take a drink? 😂

How can a team with seemingly no #1 or #2 receivers look so efficient and dominant against a great defense and DC? The answer is a really strong run game O-line and a play caller and QB that finds matchups that can be exploited. Our TEs who are really good in the pass game and getting downfield just found holes in a confused and a step slow KC secondary. Josh was so efficient and safe with his throws that every time we needed a score he found a way to shred their Spagnola designed defense. None of his blitzes got close, and Cook slashed his way to KC having to load the box opening up opportunities downfield for Josh. On defense, Hoecht made an impact before his devastating injury. He’ll be missed. Our secondary had their best game and made Mahomes look ordinary. I may have been wrong about Bishop. He looked physically tough and broke up some crucial 3rd down passes. -

The goal of getting Cook more involved in the passing game is to find ways to getting your best playmaker the ball in space where his ability to make people miss is enhanced. He is not a battering ram. The clearest example is the one ass they ran in which Cook gained 11 yards. Line him up all over the formation. GA split him out, threw halfback screens, etc…. Be creative. -
That’s what the Defense could be right there
Big Turk replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think we are starting to see why you don't just bench young players because they are struggling early on, especially if they are showing signs of improving in ways that might not be readily noticeable on the field....Bishop was all over the place today. No idea why people think that developing players isn't a thing anymore and that all players as rookies simply show up from Day 1 and produce at a high level all the time. This isn't Madden. Especially when we are talking about at safety in this defense where Poyer has said it took 2 full years as a starter to feel fully comfortable back there. -
I also don't think Beane is dying to trade premium picks to the Dolphins
-
Scheduling "luck" that we play the Dolphins in Miami immediately after the deadline, that must complicate things one would presume? Cannot forsee them trading Waddle to Buffalo and then having to face him in 5 days time.
-
Especially if they're dumping Tua. Waddle will be an accessory on a rebuild consuming resources that could be better spent on other players. Hard to say with Grier gone what they'll be willing to do

One drive, even. And I agree. -
One of the big selling points for Bishop out of Utah was that he was incredibly smart and had great instincts. Having Poyer next to him instead of Rapp is going to be huge for his learning.
-
Pretty sure the Number 1 Receiver is Kincaid. In a “gotta have it” moment, he will be the guy. And before you say it: Winslow Sr. Newsome Coates Sharpe Gonzalez Gates Clark Gronk Graham Ertz Olsen Kelce So, yes, the TE can be the team’s top target. Dude doesn’t have to play WR to be a Number 1. I’d argue that people who cannot believe don’t really understand how offensives work.
-
From reports Beane has been very active looking for a WR. Have to add a DT to that as well. I expect we will bring guys in by trade at each spot, and that half the folks on the board will beeyatch about who he got.
-
It is pretty ugly?
-
'American Idol' / 'X Factor' effect. Nowadays modest success is immediately branded as the next greatest star. Also abetted by multiple social media platforms. 🤨
-
This is and should be true. If their GM is not willing to trade in the division, even if he is interim, should be fired for malpractice. Should be maximizing the return, period. Miami probably has a multiple-year re-stock going. If trading any players in 2025 to the Bills, Patriots, or Jets bite them in the ass in 2028, then their rebuilt team isnt really rebuilt.
-
It is such found money if he is really good now.
-
You’re probably right, but this not trading within your division is kind of antiquated. The Dolphins are a team about to rebuild. They don’t have the same window as us. By the time they are competitive again, Waddle’s career will be on the downswing. Reminds me when Belicheck had no issue sending us Bledsoe.
