Keon Coleman likely to return against Pittsburgh

Whew. Feel much better about the team going forward now!!!! -
Cooks has now played with Brees, Brady, and Allen. Not many guys can say that they were a receiver for three tp 10 QB's of all time (Yes I believe in the end J.A. will get there).

This WR Corp might be ine of the wost in history. We know it is in the NFL this season -
Our passing production is actually more prolific this year on average compared to last year. More yards, yards per attempt, a fraction less passing touchdowns per game. Our yards per play (3rd) is higher than last year and and points per game (5th) is still pretty solid. Our biggest fall offs from last year is we went from the best average field position in the league to the third worst only ahead of the Bengals and Titans. This is heavily attributed to our decreased turnovers per game (almost 2 per game last year to just over 1 a game this year). So the production we do have just isn’t getting us as close to scoring position as it did last year. We are also still an elite team at scoring when we get into the red zone at home, getting a touchdown on 72% of trips. But on the road that has sunk down to 24th. Certainly the offense hasn’t looked great consistently all year, but it is very similar to last year imo. Just its flaws were complimented by the Bills defense better last year with the amount of turnovers they got. That was the one good thing the defense did last year and has now fallen off. And Bills points allowed per game has dipped from 12th to 17th which I think is causing Josh to press more which is hindering the offenses other super power from last year - lack of negative plays (turnovers + sacks allowed). All this is to say our offense is pretty much the same as last year. But as many pointed out in the offseason (me included), banking on our historical turnover differential to continue was foolish. So without any real upgrades to the offense over last year, the cracks that were there last year just are showing up more now. Definitely a failure so far on Brady not diversifying his scheme, Beane not adding offensive talent, and McDermott not elevating the defense.

Has McD ever really "figured out" an elite QB? Even Lamar shreds the defense. They lost last year because a guy dropped a wide open pass.

It’s gross that the Ravens, at 6-6, are back in the division lead if we beat the Steelers. But that Division is likely decided by the two Ravens/Steelers games and Bills/Bengals. If the Bengals beat us, I’d bet on them beating the Ravens again at home and then finish with 3 easier games. Even if we beat the Bengals, that Bengals/Ravens game will be Burrow’s return to the home crowd. Gonna have juice regardless, but I think CIN wins the Division if they beat us.. I really do. If not, Steelers or Ravens probably hold on, Steelers have an easier schedule outside BUF than the Ravens, but I don’t think anyone trusts the Steelers. After this week.. PIT: BAL 2x, MIA, DET, CLE BAL: PIT 2x, CIN, NE, GB

Game week thread - Bills at Steelers

More times than not, the Bills have been making the roster moves on Saturdays before the game when someone hits IR. So, not totally out of the woods yet Also, in the last couple years they have had someone miss 4+ games and NOT have them on IR. He's still likely to miss a chunk of time IMO. -

Absolutely. 💯 I’m not really sure why they keep signing wide receivers because this offense really doesn’t use them. -
Sorry to revive this as I wasn't the biggest fan of the song but I was taking my kids to school this morning and it came on the radio and I was blasting it out, they thought I was crazy 😄 Been having a bit of a rough time recently with getting laid off at work and an elderly parent probably not having long left, it was nice to have somehting take my mind off it for a few minutes, go bills!

https://fortune.com/2025/11/25/jobs-report-manufacturing-reshoring-tariffs-factor-job-loss/ The jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics released last week found that while nonfarm payrolls increased by 119,000, there were 6,000 fewer manufacturing jobs, adding to the tally of 59,000 lost factory jobs since Trump’s April vows to ignite domestic manufacturing. The Labor Bureau’s data is consistent with the Institute for Supply Management November report, which indicated an eighth consecutive month of contracting manufacturing jobs. “The US is losing blue-collar jobs for the first time since the pandemic…as manufacturing industries lose jobs at a rapid pace while growth in construction & transportation has nearly zeroed out,” economic commentator Joseph Politano noted in a LinkedIn post last week. Ullrich attributes the contracting manufacturing sector in part to the uncertainty tariffs have brought, which has disincentivized companies from growing their workforce. In a September note to clients, Pantheon Macroeconomics analysts Samuel Tombs and Oliver Allen attributed shrinking wage growth in the U.S. to tariff-struck companies trying to maintain margins by trimming labor costs. Similarly, Ullrich argued, companies trying to navigate new variables are usually less concerned with growth. “Oftentimes when there is heightened uncertainty, it’s just difficult for businesses and people to make decisions in real time,” she said. “And so that slows down employment. It slows down all those processes.”

Our family member with parkisons who wasn’t having a good morning so they didn’t think he could come. He took he’s meds and had a better afternoon, so the family came. We also had three other people show up who had no where to go. Just about 30 people total, and we get everyone at one big table. Winners win. And this thread turned into exactly what I was talking about. Nicely done.

How much of it is “flop” vs. Joe Brady has no clue what to do with wide receivers if they’re not running screens or jet sweeps?
