  1. Past hour
  2. One of those “in a league of their own” type of musician. May not seem like much of a compliment, but he was the standard for subtle smooth background dining music for decades, maybe still is.
  3. This is excellent satire. Fit for The Onion. So well done that people thought you were serious. Respect.
  4. did someone say BIG D ? 😏😉
  5. Hoping that this is just a cramp or something. I hate to see injuries.
  6. Is that really what Jets fans want ? An average QB that might berth them a Wildcard slot every 2-3 years? And that’s if everything goes the right way. There’s nothing worse than being “in the hunt” every single year and landing a draft pick just out of the top ten. We went through it with Bills fans. Even the worst teams still have the excitement of the draft. Out of the bolded, Joe Milton is player from this list that I would take a chance on only because he’s a completely unknown with insane measurables. Daniel Jones is also someone I think could end up putting it together down the road to become a decent bridge QB.
  7. I’m sorry. I’m failing to understand your logic. Any first round pick who fails to become a starter by their second year is a colossal bust. This dude’s got three years behind him and he’s barely backup material, let alone starting. That is absolutely a colossal bust.
  8. Back to the cartoons, I see. On brand and not a moment too soon. I guess.
  9. If therein't anything there, why did justice spend tons of resources reviewing the files? https://www.alternet.org/trump-doj-epstein-materials/
  10. Allen just lit into Elijah Moore. Play was an INT and Moore was nowhere near the ball so I can only assume he ran the wrong route Bishop out there with the first team defense
  11. Agreed. This is simply human nature. I agree they won’t stop it, but the govt can certainly develop a surcharge or tax on the service to level the playing field. Reddog suggested that partakers in elite-level-access services pay a health insurance tax (15% of income as a suggestion) prior/along with whatever the law they want to do. If the goal is to level the playing field and fair share the deal, that makes sense.
  12. Allen with a literally perfect bucket drop pass at the 1
  13. yes, cost shifting as I've repeatedly said. In medicare for all, there would still be cost shifting but eventually even a 30 yo is going to need expensive care. Some of this could be paid for by taxing vices more heavily: smoking, drinking. But everyone would still pay and likely less than they are now due to lower admin costs in medicare and no profit taking. Additionally, employers would save billions in premiums. Perhaps they could be taxed for that benefit. I pay $80per month for concierge, so about $1000 per year which gives me access to an outstanding doc, 24/7. In socialized medicine, eg UK, you can still go private pay to see the best or be seen or operated on sooner. Seems to work fine there.
  14. He’s 10000000% going to trade a pardon for testimony that clears his name. No doubt in my mind.
  15. All the CB's around the league get beat. Some have a rep, so the QB's tend to stay away from them if possible. Some make some big plays every once in a while to balance out getting roasted. Elam needs some confidence and to not get the quick hook whenever he gets beat. Maybe things will work out in big D.
  16. Amen! Outside of the elderly and those with health issues, the amount of whining about it being too hot here in Buffalo when it gets above 80 is kind of pathetic.
  17. Good for Kaiir. Hope it works out for him in Dallas.
  18. I agree. I didn't think he was nearly as bad as others thought he was. He had some good games and made some good plays. He lacked some consistency but he also didn't always get a lot of snaps either. This is one gripe I have with the staff, players need to sometimes fit this specific role so rigidly that even talented players struggle if not perfect for it Ford, Spain, and McGovern come to mind. But on the other hand we got production from guys like Dane Jackson and Levi Wallace so there is some give and take.
  19. I stand corrected. Epenesa not practicing
  20. not true. I had about 25% Medicaid pts and took uninsured (who actually paid pretty well). But it's a biz like any other. You need to cover overhead before you take anything home. generally, overhead is around 50%. I think most people do go into it to help people but not all. There are financial realities however, that can't be ignored. re concierge, I don't see how the govt can stop people from buying it out of their own pocket. Insurance is not involved. Additionally, all kinds of private endeavors like aesthetics clinics and testosterone/impotence clinics would have to close. There's a burgeoning industry for GLP 1's (weight loss drugs) that is entirely self pay. It's not only the wealthy that use this services.
  21. I think the Chargers will push them as well. Harbaugh is a great coach. In his 2nd year with the 49ers he went 11-4-1 and went to the Super Bowl. 2nd year at University of San Diego 11-1. Second year at Michigan 10-3. Took him 3 years at Stanford to get going but he didn’t have nearly as much talent there to start as he did in other places and with the Chargers. He has done great every where. Think the Chargers will be the sleeper team that could give teams trouble. Their defense will probably be really good this year. Running game you would think would be even better in the 2nd year of his scheme.
