I agree. So far this year there have been 3 key components that were outstanding last year that have regressed to the means. Forcing turnovers are one of them. Second was the low amount of sacks given up last year. Third is the fact that no one outside of Allen caused a turnover last year on offense.

You know, after the Bills failed so many times running the same play in short yardage against the Chiefs, I was sure, SURE, that Brady would have spent all offseason scouring effective short yardage plays so that he’d have a much bigger treasure chest to pull from when they’re again in those situations. Well, his short yardage plays this year are worse than last year; we don’t even run the tush push anymore. I’m a bit disappointed in him as a coordinator but do feel it’s less for the Bills to have to rebuild if he’s promoted to HC. The offense can rebound, the defense I feel never will under the current scheme.

Sean Fitz is a well respected PSU reporter. Having said that, the notion that Pegula (PSU grad and major donor) is pushing for PSU to hire Bradybas next HC makes no sense to me, on several levels. 1) Brady hasn’t been involve in college football for 6 yrs. A lot has changed in that time. 2) Brady has never been acHC at any level. 3) PSU fans have been complaining about their current OC being too cute, and having no downfield passing game. Ring any bells? 4) bills are still among Super Bowl favorites this year. Who ever heard of an owner trying to replace his OC in the middle of a Super Bowl run? Bills don’t need a distraction.

Despite his reported underwhelming season so far, I may lose control of some bodily fluids if we pulled off this trade.

Right. Trump said as much when asked about Comey. Something like "if he's guilty, he's guilty, if not, then he's not." Which is of course not the standard the Department of Justice uses. Under DOJ guidelines, you don't bring a prosecution on a coin flip chance of winning. You bring it only if you are confident that a jury will find guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Yea, I listened to Greg Cosell like you requested. I think there’s a reactionary element going on right now because the Bills haven’t scored 30+ in two straight games. Cosell also doesn’t comment on the offensive weapons that Brady is working with, which I would argue could be contributing to the concepts being used. I agree the performance against Atlanta was about as bad as it’s looked, it was as if the offense had never seen a blitz in its life. We will see more tomorrow.
