  1. Past hour
  2. So show me your evidence that energy prices were frozen at any time from 2019-2023
  3. https://www.politico.eu/article/protests-ukraine-volodymyr-zelenskyy-law-anti-corruption-agencies-nabu-sap/ As the president’s popularity declines, he and his team have reflexively sought to tighten their grip on power. Now patience is wearing thin.
  4. Thought he was very good in camp and preseason last year.
  5. It's really the only sensible thing to do if it's done properly. Therapeutically there's no danger involved.
  6. Now deep in the heart of a lonely kid Who suffered so much for what he did They gave this ploughboy his fortune and fame Since that day he ain't been the same See the man with the stage fright Just standin' up there to give it all his might And he got caught in the spotlight But when we get to the end He wants to start all over again
  7. So, I’m up early so I decided to start today’s thread. Question of the day: which poster will lose their schitt if Kincaid doesn’t return to practice?
  8. Yep. He’s a perfect “camp body” for the Bills and if lightning happens to strike, so be it. They just need somebody to run routes while 4-5 guys are tending to ouchies and he has the familiarity to do it.
  9. One thing not mentioned enough is that it isn't just tax money that is used for subsidy... We sell Treasuries to cover the tax payer shortfall... The entire nation goes into debt at interest to pay for it... Then, we pay later through inflation... That debt then subsidizes the Chinese portion of solar panel equipment... Strengthening China's economy at our expense... As Chinese companies strengthen further, those investors then invest in American farmland and commercial property, driving up costs for Americans while wages remain stagnant domestically... We have far too many people who are eager to see America completely hollowed out using the pursuit of the cheapest prices possible as the excuse... They worship free trade despite the fact it is far from free... The USA via the Bretton Woods Agreement secures free trade routes for the entire world... The same people want to defund our military which provides the security for their cheap imported products... They have the mentality of locusts...
  10. The players make significantly less during preseason compared to practice squad. It is between 2k and 3.5k per week depending on experience plus room and board.
  11. Today
  12. It’s a hard question to answer as right now it’s hard to know how good on defense Sander, Jackson, amd Williams will be once rolling. I’m hopeful at least two workout so I went with WR. I don’t trust Samuels at all as he’s always hurt. Moore could workout, but a stud WR would excel with Josh. So my final answer is WR with a possibility of D Lineman. Daquan is probably done after this years.
  13. He is literally the definition of “camp body” right now. The Bills have so many WRs with tweaks of some sort that they simply need guys to run plays so the QB has somebody to throw to.
  14. I'm going to avoid discussing Robert Reich, who is another political/academic careerist who has never had a real job in industry, other than to point out that the link to his missive seems woefully negligent in a couple issues. First, it claims :18% increases over a decade. That figure would be well below existing Fed inflation goals. Second, he seems completely unaware of recent developments in electricity production in our innovative private sector. Every week new deals are announced using developing technology to provide on location electrical power. No combustion. Extremely clean. Almost no water requirements. No storage requirement. Not reliant on weather conditions. Most importantly, economically competitive and with no reliance on the weakness of the current delivery system, the grid, managed by public utility folks. When you produce it at the site, you don't care about the grid. Additionally, relatively large scale capacities can be in place in 90 days, not years of public fighting over new utility plants. A certain energy producer that I won't mention has just concluded agreements with Oracle, American Electrical Power, Equinex and Quanta Computing, as well as having scores of existing, producing units at many Fortune 500 companies. Robert Reich might exit the faculty lounge and find out what's going on, not that he ever has. Solar and wind on any scale take up huge amounts of space and are ugly and often dangerous to various flying things. Domestic solar succeeds to some extent because it is subsidized by the taxpayer. When I had this house built, I fully intended to use it. My garage is good size, and perfectly suited for it: roof faces true south and is of the proper slope for this latitude. It has simply never made economic sense.
  15. Every NFL player gets a pair of Super Bowl tickets. Every NFL team gets an allotment of a few hundred. It was 650ish last year. The participating teams get 4k or 5k. It used to be 2x or 3x that a few years back. When the Bills used to go back in the day it was WAY more. Long story short, if the Bills go back, people shouldn’t plan on winning their tickets through the season ticket holder lottery like the old days. You’ll have to buy them on the secondary market or have a connection within the league or team. The average price on the secondary market has been about $7500 over the last few years. If the Bills go, especially against a team with a real fan base, like Philly, we should plan on that being higher. If it is a team without fans, like the Rams, the prices will be lower.
  16. Shows that if you turn up, learn the playbook, work your tail off, be a good teammate and have some level of ability you will stay near the top of teams' "break glass in case of emergency" lists. He has earned about $1.5m doing it. That isn't live forever money but it is enough to keep chasing your dream if you are sensible with it.
  17. They brought in Tyler Lockett, maybe he has something left? Van Jefferson did have one season in his career where he produced, maybe he can repeat? Okonkwo is a reasonable TE for a rookie to have. They then have Tyjee Spears and Pollard out the backfield, both reasonable receivers. Add the rookies they drafted in Elic Ayomanor and D I K E from the Gators, managed to acquire Restrepo in the UFA class who many wanted the Bills to draft… Not entirely awful. Not entirely great either. We’ll see what Ward is truly all about.
  18. Same here. Maaaan he simply wasn't a worker. And someone here did mention that the NFL didn't figure out Gabe yet. Once they did, yeah, it was over.
  19. Remember he played OLB for Bills when he was first drafted. He didn't move to inside until after they traded for Biscuit later during his rookie year. He slowed down considerably as the pounding took its toll. He only played two full seasons out of 9 (6 with Bills), missing time due to injuries in all the other seasons of his career.
  20. This guy's story must be amazing. He's about to turn 29, is working on his 8th year of pro ball, has played 15 NFL games with 9 receptions. Somehow he's able to keep grinding out chances, but for some reason no one seems willing to make an actual commitment to him. The dedication he has to being a pro ball player must be insane. Multiple generations of 1rst round WRs have come in and washed out of the league since he showed up. Give me an episode of "A Football Life" on a guy like this.
  21. My God. The Democrat party might really be done. They have literally nothing.
  22. This thread is hilarious. Somehow he’s at the GOP, failed gun control efforts, and the USSR would destroy us from within without those laws. The Soviet Union:
  23. Nothing is long term on any of the WR's. Which is why they signed Deon Cain and tried out Justyn Ross. They just need some bodies to get through a little bit of time in Training Camp, so they aren't overworking the WR's they have. Gabe Davis isn't someone you bring in for that and he wouldn't sign on for that role.
