  1. Past hour
  2. First off, I've said this a million times already, but the price wouldn't have been a 4th and a 5th for us. If New Orleans has the option of a 4th and 5th from Seattle or from us - they're going to take (and did take) Seattle's. Our record is the same, yes, but historically we make it further than they do and consistently pick below them. And we have a team led by Josh Allen. So for us to get him, we would have had to have beat Seattle's offer. Which we could only do with a 3rd. But beyond that, I think the even bigger issue was that it was 2 picks in the coming Draft. If it were a pick in 2026 and a pick in 2027, that would have been more palatable. But in a year where we only have 7, dropping 2 of them and only having 5 picks is rough. Especially for a guy you only have for half of a season that is more of a role player than a #1 WR.
  3. Win now. Who knows what tomorrow brings? For us older Bills fans especially- win now! We aren’t going to be here forever. I’ve been a huge Bills and Sabres fan since early 70s. Me and my fellow older Bills/Sabres know heartbreak deeply. Give us something!
  4. WR room - Minus Amari and Hollins, Plus Palmer. 5-2=3 3+1=4. What happened to our 5th WR? I don’t understand Beanes math. Moore was pulled off the scrap heap, after Beanes tantrum on WGR. So I don’t think there was smart planning for WR room
  5. Injuries are all the more reason to add to some help at the trade deadline. The AFC is wide open this year. Why not spend some draft picks and add a WR or some DL help. IMO there is too much focus on the future with this fan base. A lot of that is due to the drought years.
  6. Maurene Comey you say? “Epstein told me that [lead prosecutor] Maurene Comey said that he didn’t have to prove anything, as long as President Trump’s people could not disprove it. According to Maurene Comey, the FBI were ‘her people, not his [President Trump’s],’ ” the filing states.
  7. KC traded Tyreek at the height of his value. But ever since, they keep adding former WR1 or WR2s, trying to grab a star cheaply: JuJu, MVS, Hollywood Brown, DeAndre Hopkins, etc. Meanwhile, we traded Diggs. But we keep adding former WR3 or WR4s, like Sherfield, Moore, Palmer, and Hollins (who I miss). And it can't be a cap issue, because they have the same issues as us, and also fielded a better defense than we did from 2022-2024. And in that stretch, they made it to 3 straight Super Bowls. It's a huge difference and it means we aren't maximizing our O with Josh and Jimbo. We could be lethal like Philly in the SB--KC took away Saquon and they hit Brown and Smith way downfield. That's how they broke Spags' D.
  8. Sure they were closer to the Super Bowl last season. In terms of winning it, the 13 second game season, talent wise they were much closer. IMO had they made the Super Bowl last year, th result would have been the same. Eagles win big.
  9. This is a badder song than it seems on the surface. i for one miss songs that make you think beyond your boutiful your boutiful God help us all
  10. You have to catch the ball for it to count History with drops A known issue: Drops were a significant drawback during his time with the Bills, with a career-high of nine in the 2022 season. Inconsistency: This history of drops contributed to his inconsistent performance and the team eventually moving on from him. Current status with the Bills Recent return: Davis rejoined the Buffalo Bills' practice squad in September 2025 after being released by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
  11. Preach brother, Preach! This is so obvious. It really is the Emperors New Clothes. Defense is not the problem. I’m not sure which Bills team you are watching
  12. With a running game is as good as ours, it's almost a crime not to have a deep ball specialist. It's potentially a play-action touchdown or 50 yard completion 2-3 times per game. Kincaid looks like he is dialed in and won't drop a clutch ball now.
  13. “A WR will never matter in the offense” except when we need a 3rd and 6 late in a game. We need WR who can separate instantly
  14. Today
  15. A 3rd round pick will give you a guy who can be on the roster cheaply for 4 years. Wonder if the chefs weighed that against “win now” with what we have? As far as the pats, that is scary how much cap space they have. Give them a tougher schedule and they may not be as good as they are this year.
  16. You might note that by the zero point zero reaction to your original thread (as of this writing), that not even the most incredibly deluded of the fervent Trumpists actually believe he has a single Christian cell in his blood.
  17. He’s coming. So is AJ Klein. We can sign useful players that would make the Bills better. Or we can just keep resigning ex mediocre Bills that are older and slower now
  18. Except when it counts. Last two painful playoff exit takeaways- Dalton dropping the ball. Diggs dropping the ball.
  19. I can’t imagine the offense without Cook. Bills passing game often looks forced and difficult. If I was coordinator, playing Bills- I’d put my #1 CB on Dalton. If there’s no Dalton, and no Cook, we have an average offense, with an elite QB being a game manager throwing bubble screens
  20. I think you are underestimating the Pats. They have won 5 in a row. It should be 6 in a row. Pats would have blown out Pittsburgh, but Stevenson kept fumbling at the goal line. Pats beat Buffalo in Buffalo. Pats are well coached. Josh McDaniels is an excellent offensive coordinator. Pats had an excellent draft. Drake Maye is the real deal. They have elite cornerbacks, and a very good defense. Pats quickly have become an AFC force. IMO Pats can hang with KC and Ravens- I’d love to see those games. Bills are going to have a battle trying to overcome Pats lead in East. Pats have a cupcake schedule. Tampa is one of the few teams that I think have a chance to beat NE. They play Sunday, and TB is banged up. Pats are healthy. How are the Pats so healthy and the Bills devastated by injuries, yet again?
  21. If it is long term wear and tear you are worried about then the Bills have guarded against that. This is year 4. They are pretty much committed through year 5. But it would cost $5.4m in dead cap if they wanted to move on in 2027. That isn't a justification anyone can use to still hold onto a wrong opinion about extending him.
  22. Breece is a very good RB. I’m glad him nor Quinnen ended up on the Chiefs. I can’t believe KC would offer a 4th, but not a 3rd. Im shocked NE didn’t add a RB - Pollard or Hall, they are have a need, are in drivers seat, and have something like $60 million in cap space. Scary thing is they roll that over. I was trying to look at the bright side of Bills lack of activity, and I was happy the Bills could roll $3 million over into next year
  23. The point is we get zero production from our wideouts. Every other team gets production from their wideouts, even teams with great TEs. Amon Ra St Brown says hello
  24. I hate to side with Beane on this one...yeah, it's great to stay pat. Keep our picks. Just look at our injury plagued defense. We need all of our picks and then some. Good lord. We need fresh younger bodies.
  25. Colts made a big mistake there. Danny Dimes is going to come back down to Earth and they just gave away their draft capital. I remember the Giants thought he was going to be a franchise QB too. The Bills were actually closer last season. One drive away as opposed to one game away.
  26. It's hilarious to me that people argue that a year where we lost in the divisional round was closer to a SB than last year, where we narrowly lost a the AFCCG in which the refs were actively screwing us over on spots repeatedly.
