Someone please tell me what I’m missing with Hoecht and Ogunjobi. In almost everything I’m seeing/hearing, the grand consensus is we’ll be just fine when they get off suspension but the small sample size I’ve seen out of each hasn’t shown anything special at all. Mid tier DL who have bounced around a bit supposed to save a defense that can’t tackle, can’t play the run and hasn’t been great in pass coverage? I got absolutely torn to shreds for saying it in the preseason but this will be yet another season Josh has to score 40+ a game to beat legit contenders. 4-0 is great in the NFL and I’m not complaining but a porous defense and questionable play calling on offense doesn’t bode well for late in the year.

Every one that complained about RFK being put in this position & the many here that find the littlest thing about him to complain need to watch this to the end, this doctor explains some of what he is up against and the laws put in place to allow all of the big industry in America to continue to poison all of us and our children . When I look at the advertisements that these Lawyers put out that say Bayer & MonSatan have given so many BILLIONS of dollars to pay out in a law suit to those effected by their products because of the disease that those products cause yet the gov't which we elect still allow them to put these products on the market to me is insane !! UNLESS someone in certain governmental positions is making money from passing such laws to continue to keep us all sick . In this it will tell us that many of the products or chemicals in our foods and such that are banned in different countries but not here yet not only is there the profit of producing this but huge profits from the sickness that it causes . I'm putting this here in hopes of making more people aware of these things to take the time to possibly research more of what we give our kids and grand kids !! I'm a old bastard and in the grand scheme of things although very blessed don't have as much time left here on earth as our children and it breaks my heart to see a child have to suffer through something like cancer if it is in any way avoidable ! Also this is in some respects why the current administration is so hated is because most of them are going against all of this type of thing that those from the past in our gov't have allowed to go on for only god knows how long . RFK and others are fighting a true uphill battle against millions if not BILLIONS of dollars to fight against this type of thing & if you wonder why wing nuts like AOC, Waters, Pelosi, Schumer, Romny, and many others go from broke citizens to millionaires in a very short period of time after being elected IMHO just follow the money and we all might find out the answer . There are many more documentaries out there that tell the truths behind all of this and I feel they will allow the poisoning of our kids & loved ones to go on if all of us allow them to, which if we do then like in a lot of other instances we are the problem !!

Keep it real. Baltimore is 1-3 with 2x League MVP Lamar Jackson and seven other Pro Bowlers/All Pros on their roster. Half of TBD would have walked into Lake Erie holding a cinder block if we had that roster and record. -
I feel kinda bad for Brady tbh haha. I thought that 4th down call was pretty clever but they botched the execution and that’s all anyone is gonna remember 😂

I love how Cam Lewis does the McClappy after completely whiffing on that tackle. You just gave a up a 3rd & long? Let's clap it up!! -
I think they bring Robbins back... for better or worse if our guy is out... I havent heard a report... but props for him sucking it up with a brace on and holding for the FG...

I went back and looked at his averages in College and they were 42 yards on average, not including his net. That’s not gonna get it done in the NFL unless everyone of his punts is getting fair caught

I don't think we are having bend but don't break issues. This defense is just flat out getting gashed at every level. The front 7 has just been bad despite the individual brightspots. This, we are getting to a point where McD may have to, and probably should, take over the defense again. You don't get unlimited bites at the apple, and we have one this year, again. We can't waste it. I suspect it will either be just before the KC game as not to blow the opportunity, or just after the KC game if we lose.

DC Babich is nothing special. Hoping if we get healthy, the defense will be better than average -

Yeah, I pretty much agree. We have to try something here. -
Agreed- just give the ball to James Cook on 4th and short. If it’s 4th and long, just give it to James Cook
-
Yep. Some of that is play design. I actually thought the worst one last night was where he was the only guy in the picture on that side trying to defend a screen 2nd half. The Saints OL were running downfield like "where are the guys I'm supposed to block?" I'm guessing that one must have been a communication breakdown somewhere because surely nobody designs it like that?

This I do agree with, especially the ridiculous 12 men/10 men on the field problems that we saw yesterday -
That's fair, but it was also the first game of the season and the Ravens are an incredibly tough matchup for the Bills. That said their return coupled with the return of the others will help. One of the side benefits for injuries and suspension is that it has given PT to players we needed to evaluate short and long-term. Some have stepped up (Bishop, Thompson and Walker) and others not so much (Sanders & Solomon). This PT allow Babich to rotate more players and hopefully keep the defense healthier and strong throughout the game. I also agree that certain guys need to tackle batter (Bosa?)

poverty rate. Educational attainment. population density. Sample size. Post some more data then. here. from my first citation that you apparently didn't read: In that study, which was published March 28, 2019, in the Journal of General Internal Medicine, Siegel’s team analyzed 25 years of national data to examine the relationship between 10 different types of state laws and the number of deaths by homicide and suicide in all 50 states. State gun laws requiring universal background checks for all gun sales resulted in homicide rates 15 percent lower than states without such laws. Laws prohibiting the possession of firearms by people who have been convicted of a violent crime were associated with an 18 percent reduction in homicide rates. In contrast, Siegel found that laws regulating the type of firearms people have access to—such as assault weapon bans and large capacity ammunition magazine bans—and “stand your ground” laws have no effect on the rate of firearm-related homicide. None of the state gun laws studied were found to be related to overall suicide rates. Universal background checks, which have long been a top priority for gun control advocates and policymakers in the United States, appear to have the biggest impact. Though there has been a push for federal gun regulations in recent years, the power to legislate gun sales and gun ownership is largely beholden to the states. And according to Siegel, the data don’t lie. The average firearm homicide rate in states without background checks is 58 percent higher than the average in states with background-check laws in place. As of 2017, only 13 states, including Massachusetts, had laws requiring universal background checks.

Most teams in the NFL can’t tackle now , just look around the league. Most teams, if they are practicing it are just drilling and thudding, their not taking people to the ground because their trying to stay healthy. The better athletes in the NFL now play offense in a league skewed to offense. It’s hard to stop other teams from scoring. The ball gets placed at the 35 yard line when kickers can now kick 55+ like it’s nothing. On paper I’m fine with what the Bills defense has done. They’ve given up 10,19, and 21 points in 3 of their 4 games. I think the annoyance like many others is the big chunks in the run game and the amount of other teams offenses stay in the field. The Ravens are a good football team. When healthy they are going to score points. The Chiefs seem to know how to stop them but not many teams are going to hold them down offensively unless injuries catch up to them. I think your hoping the return of two of your best defenses players , Hoecht replacing Epenesa, a steady veteran presence in Ogunjobi, and a healthy Hairston replacing a rapidly declining Tre White had to show at least some positive return -

And 3rd week in a row of not allowing 300 yards to an opponent, in which they have averaged 243 yards given up and 16.5 PPG. People acting like we are giving up 400+ yards and 35 PPG like we are the Ravens D need to get an actual clue. -

Agree with this and again, this hasn't been a big issue for the Bills in the past and I think that is fair to put at the defensive coordinator's door. I don't think firing Babich fixes everything, and as I said last night, I don't love any of the alternative options very much.... but the confusion pre-snap and the plummeting of the 3rd down defense are new on this DC's watch. I think firing him gives you a chance to at least get that fixed. I don't think it will magically fix our run defense (which has been an issue to some degree most years of this regime) or make our pass rush more dynamic (which again has been a recurring weakness) but I DO think it can help fix the two specific issues we have seen crop up under this coordinator. -
The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse

We all knew KC even if they lost to the Ravens would “get it in gear” and win at least 10 games and be the 6th seed and be dangerous. This win helps them push for their division. This upcoming Jags game is going to determine in my belief in KC. If they blowout the Jags away then KC is going to be a powerhouse esp if they go win an away game against a solid team by a big margin. If they lose their season is in trouble in terms of winning their division. If they win by a small margin they are the savvy veteran team getting stronger but not quite there yet -
More concerning than Bosa not doing well on the edge is why the hell are there constantly plays where he is the only defender in the picture until the player is 10 yards down the field after they outflank him? Where is the next level of defense that is so often talked about as running to the football? Seems like the problem is more that there is nobody else there once he forces the RB to hesitate and then jump outside to string him out.

So true funny how it seems Always in time, but never in line for dreams Head over heels when toe to toe This is the sound of my soul This is the sound I bought a ticket to the world But now I've come back again Why do I find it hard to write the next line? Oh I want the truth to be said
