... Then we may as well sack the OC. I doubt we will, unless Josh calls for it. But we should. -
Lol yeah - I realized after the fact that you were talking more in terms of the amount of cap designated to bad contracts and people who won't be here anymore than freeing cap space. Thus the deleted post.

I get what you’re saying but it’s hard to imagine this team turning it around and winning even a single playoff game. -
That's not remotely his philosophy

It's called a system.. and again they had multiple all pros on their offense.. Christian McCaffrey their left tackle considered the best in the world, a pro bowl wide receiver... We have a good running back who's not as good as McCaffrey.. a good left tackle who's not as good as theirs And no wide receiver that's as good as theirs I don't think Kyle shanahan whose record is worse than Sean McDermott is coming here and just winning us a Super bowl lol -

This is what McDermott wants. He wants conservative, old school, football because he is a wuss. He is milquetoast. He is Dick Jauron. It’s a bend but dont break defense. It’s ball control offense. Its dumb. Brady’s offense was not like this in other stops. It’s McDermott. -

None of the Ls were out of hand until late. If expecting the offense to move the ball and score points with Josh Allen at QB is too much to ask, due to the immense pressure the defense puts them under, then might as well cancel the remaining games. -

The Lynch that gave a massive extension to Purdy? Yet team played as well without him with the great Mac Jones? -
I was at the game and let me tell you what was happening downfield
Bferra13 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
That tends to happen when you literally run every first down and have zero creativity in your play calling for 3/4 of the game. Its no surprise the receivers were blanketed. Play calling is brutal and Joe Brady is most likely just doing what McDermott is telling him for the most part. But the whole situation sucks. -

Oh....there's a good chance he's gone, but just not now. They won't do it during the season because they don't have anyone else to call plays. Maybe Kromer could do it, but that's about it. And there is no chance McDermott calls Daboll in. Even if he did, he'd probably decline. Unfortunately, we're just stuck..... -

Did anyone see the stat that McD is 15-35 when trailing at halftime? If that’s true, then wow. -

And the Colts & Pats are in the AFCCG again. Like, really universe? We get that life isn't fair, but it doesn't have to be unbearably cruel, either. Are we getting a little "Platoon" there? -

Hey! Our middle of the road (at best) defense isn’t the reason we lose games. It’s our top of the league offense that’s Holding us back -
I’m more into blaming Beane but I think it’s time for a new voice for the players, too. And I agree with you that I don’t think McD is going to get it done here.

A common theme in all of those games (except NE) is that the defense was a sieve in the first half and had the team down multiple scores before you could blink. It changes the mood of the game and the offense starts to chase points and force things because it looks like the defense won't make a stop all day. So +1 to your point here. -

Shanahan, Saleh and Lynch are all massive upgrades over what the Bills have. The fact that they were able to build a team around Purdy and make a Superbowl while the Bills can’t with Allen says it all. -

Disagree. Unless Allen plays like superman and the rest of the offense plays at least competently, which neither did tonight, the Bills aren't scoring more then 20 points on the road against the #1 Defense in the NFL. The current offensive roster is simply not close to being good enough to win the game without a dominating defensive performance. In the 1st half the Bills D gave up 201 yards and 20 points. Like in the Atlanta game the D's terrible first half play pretty much lost the game. The Bills offense is top rated primarily because of Allen's play with a healthy assists from Cook. Without Allen the offense is in the bottom half of the league rankings right alongside their bad D. So I won't blame an offense that hasn't been properly constructed to accept that responsibility. I suspect there are numerous front offices throughout the NFL who are professionally aghast at the way the Bills have decided to build a roster with Allen as QB. Cowherd has alluded to two different GM's he talks to regularly who can't believe how the Bills are employing Allen. -
Dark days a comin!

Only difference is that the Eagles sign blue chip talent, not Bernard types.
