This is pretty early in the Pacific time zone to be this wound up about Donald Trump, isn’t it? You’re doing great!
-
Thoughts and prayers to his family. He was a linchpin on the great O-Line we had for the Championship years. I didn't realize he started out as a linebacker!

How many wins do the Bills get without Josh?
Yobogoya! replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
If we immediately shifted to an offense built around Cook the way the late drought teams were built around Shady and ask Trubisky to be Tyrod Taylor and not throw the games away— I mean there’s probably a timeline where we get to over .500 But as division winner we play the other strongest teams, who would in all likelihood each of them roll us. It’s more likely than not we’d see a season reminiscent of the 2 win Colts when Peyton Manning went down — and that team had impact players on both sides of the ball (although I do think for whatever his faults, McDermott is a much better coach than Jim Caldwell). The only things you could say for certain is we’d be in no way a Super Bowl contender and we’d have a chance for McBeane to prove they’re not being hard carried by a once in a generation QB. -

With Trubisky as QB for the entire season, the Bills would certainly draft in the top ten, if not top 5. Jmo. -

Take away the MVP and a full year of Trubisky/White. I think with current roster without Allen if you are being optimistic at best would be 8-9 at the end of the season. I would plan on 6-11, 7-10. -

I think they are a fringe playoff team WITHOUT #17. Why? Because of their strength in the trenches (especially O-line.) I think Brady is a top level coordinator. Take the ball out of Trubisky’s hands as much as possible and use his legs more. Ride Cook & Company all the way to the postseason. Mix the running w/ some screens, bootlegs, and occasional deep shot to keep opposing D’s honest. Another underrated aspect is the blocking ability of the WRs when they hit the 2nd level. Bills regular season defense has always been very good to great under McDermott so I’d expect a top 5-7 unit. You can also expect them to be in the upper tier of turnover differential as well. Buffalo defense knows how to take the ball away and score afterwards . It is not luck, it is coaching. As a fan, I pretty much expect 1-2 takeaways per game. All in all, I think 9-8 is a very realistic record. This team has more talent than fans give credit for. It takes more than just a good QB. Look at the Bengals & Chargers over the recent years. There’s a reason McDermott is tied for the 4th longest current coaching tenure and he would be snatched up faster than a rabbit gets ****** if he ever hit the market. You think Antoine Winfield or Pat Williams hurt? Imagine McDermott going the Patriots. Then why post a reply? I get it, bud. The offseason is hurting all of us. You got this. -
It's a cliche and we all know that. In NFL, if you don't try to improve, you ARE going backwards. But how many can actually improve above the current pace and break out a "career year"? Say Terrel Bernard. He's a solid NFL starter and a leader in Bills defense. The absence of him will hurt the Bills D but the presence of him won't propel the Bills D to another level, assuming everyone else stay current at his playing level.

The Beach Boys had more talent and better music than the Beetles. Debate me - go ahead - you can't. The Beetles are the most overrated band in history and look a mile down to the second place band - Nirvana and Nirvana's step son Foo Fighters.

It will start slowly, Trump will condemn this, sort of. Then the online army will lionize this guy, say he is being treated unfairly and soon he will move to hero status. Get ready for more of these. Trump sent the signal to these monsters to go kill, and he will protect them Trump feels emboldened by the killings, his army will kill for him Posting to Truth Social on Sunday, Trump claimed these cities should be targeted as they are, “The core of the Democrat power center, using illegal aliens to expand their voter base, cheat in elections and grow the welfare state.”

I get that this was posted with tongue in cheek, but a reminder that before Norwood was targeted as the bad guy in Super Bowl XXV (he wasn't)*, he had been a dependable pro bowl kicker. Cousineau never amounted to much in the NFL after a stint in Canada, but the rights the Bills held to him were subsequently packaged to acquire the 1983 first round draft pick that became Jim Kelly. * Norwood's missed kick is too often given as the reason for the Bills' loss to the Giants. It's not the reason, just the most memorable moment. The reality is that Parcells and Belichick outsmarted the Bills, letting the Kelly offense get cold while the Giants slowing controlled the ball after halftime. The Bills defense missed about 7 tackles on Mark Ingram on a 3rd and 11, keeping the Giant's drive alive to score. That was a bigger factor in the outcome. On the other side, when Belichick deployed 7 DBs to counter the no-huddle, the Bills should have run Thurman down their throats all game long. Time of possession was a key.

Bills Top 5 single game passing performances
Gregg replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember Joe Ferguson had a great game at Miami in 1983. The Bills won 38-35 in OT, and it was their first win in the Orange Bowl since 1966.
