  2. Why is everyone assuming it's one or the other? First off, Gabe Davis won't be ready for Week 1. If signed, he'd be put on a list until he's ready. And by the time you're ready to activate him, who knows whether all of our WR's will still be healthy and active. Also, the only 3 WR's on this roster you can say with 100% certainty are safe are Khalil Shakir, Josh Palmer, and Keon Coleman. Elijah Moore reportedly has not been impressing. Curtis Samuel has both Beane (who mentioned every WR on the roster but Samuel on McAfee) and McDermott (who said he needs to see urgency from Samuel down the stretch to see if and how he'll fit in the Offense) publicly not showing a lot of confidence in. Teams are in need of vet WR's and if they can get out from his contract, I bet they would. At this point, it seems unlikely that both will stick on the roster and all together possible neither do. I'd even go so far as to say I feel just as confident that Shavers will stick as I do either of them. And on top of all of that, 5 is what we carried last year. But we've carried 6 under the Beane and McDermott era more times than we've kept 5. All of this to say, you can easily come up with ways that both Shavers and Davis are here. And I find that to be more likely than one or the other, if he were to be signed.
  3. Am I the last person in the expansive sphere of NFL fans to learn that Philly is $30 million UNDER the cap? Is their entire defense on rookie deals? Because that entire offense is STACKED with $igned $tuds. (Admittedly, I have not yet done the rigorous online research of seeing an itemized accounting of how such a sham is in fact possible. I'm still in shock.)
  4. Is he honestly any good anymore?
  5. I think Shavers is the better athlete. Gabe loses focus too many times. Multiple times he was not on the same page as Allen, it was talked about on WGR today. We all know he has consistent bad drops. He obviously isn’t doing enough to get open because he had multiple zero burgers in the second half of 2023. Let go after one year in Jax. Why are we to assume Davis is a better option than Shavers? Davis’s career is trending down right now.
  6. IIRC it was almost certain Phillips was going to sign somewhere else for more money. And I completely understand him going that route.
  7. Exactly. There’s not hot market for that bust.
  8. Bills Traded the Maholmes Pick to the Chiefs, just saying.
  9. That is wisdom right there. Almost as wise as your name which is part of one of favorite confusciusism : man goes to bed with Itchy Bottom wake up with stinky finger.
  10. No hate, he just wasn’t that good here, that knee injury set him back,
  11. His kids were kinda spicy.
  12. It’s funny because this past off season I brought up the idea of bringing Phillips back as we needed a 1tech. The Vikings added a lot of DTs and it looked like Phillips was the odd man out but the Vikings had also just signed him to an extension. I think it’s a good move for both teams
  13. Have the Bills placed a call I would say it’s likely. Has it gone beyond that I doubt it. This just reeks of Myles Garrett who wanted to be traded so badly until he got the money he felt he deserved. I assume Dallas and Parsons will figure something out. Jones has done this with all his top players. If, for whatever reason he does get moved at least the Bills are A. In the AFC and B. Have a good trading relationship with the Cowboys based on history. The Bills would probably have to give up the Khalil Mack deal plus inflation. The Mack deal was: Bears received: Mack 2nd Rounder Conditional 5th Raiders received: 1st round pick 1st round pick 3rd round pick 6th round pick I’m thinking 2 1sts, a 2nd and a 4th for Parsons, a 3rd, and a 5th makes sense based on the similarities of the Mack deal plus inflation
  14. You’re asking me to make sense of government decisions, I can’t tell you why some companies are chosen as winners and others as losers. Does the govt buy shares in every struggling company? I’d bet not.
  15. Today
  16. Interesting comparison. I can understand why the gov bought shares of the failing struggling GM to keep it afloat. So why does Trump want a share of chip companies? Are they struggling like GM? Make it make sense to me.
  17. Kinda wild the drama that has surrounded that guy the last few years. He seems like your neighbor that brings bratwurst to your cookout and never says or does anything controversial his entire life.
  18. LOL you’re out of your mind. I’m as big a Parsons critic as any due to his poor run defense, but he would instantly make the Bills SB favorites by a landslide.
