Extras casting call for Bills Hallmark Holiday movie
Augie replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
They know their audience, that was intentional. Watch those email addresses floods in! Now, if there is a nudity clause be sure exactly what that means. I don’t think Hallmark is going to be PRO-nudity. -
You asked, and they listened… (Bills on Hallmark)
Wacka replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
I got railroaded into watching one of those Hallmark movies and it checked every box. The woman was planning her wedding at her family's maple syrup farm in NE. She's driving up there from NYC(?) and all the leaves are changing. She is talking o the phone about the sap is flowing. Sap flows in the late winter/early spring. She has a gay black boss, and her maid of honor is a latina with the Rosie Perez accent. The minister she picks is black, Just about the only white people at this wedding in Vermont are her and her fiancé, her soy-boy brother, and her parents in the whitest state in the US. Seemed to me they had to cover all the PC bases. -
Why Landon Jackson is the next MONSTER in the NFL

when you actually have size, power, pretty good speed and pretty good skill....the high motor is a positive Maxx Crosby esque IMO -
Why Landon Jackson is the next MONSTER in the NFL
Nihilarian replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've read that some had him rated as a high first-round grade, and yet he fell to the third for Buffalo. Perhaps it was his love for his micro golden Doodle named Honey. -
As you should! I could meet the nicest person on the planet, but if they order their steak well done and put ketchup on it, we will never be friends and may actually come to blows. *Ranch on wings is also a pet peeve, but I can excuse the mistake if the offender is not from western NY.

He comes with the dreaded high motor tag, but I think he is a lot more than that. REALLY looking forward to seeing what he can do. -

Scientists said that about Buffalo decades ago. I didn’t know it got that cold in Florida. -

It’s really adorable when you try to explain things you don’t have any knowledge about. Like Catholicism. From that link I gave you: “SKYWARN™ is a nationwide program of spotters that report severe weather to the National Weather Service. Anyone can become a SKYWARN™ spotter for the National Weather Service, all you have to do is attend one of our Spotter Training Sessions. There is no charge for the training.” The empty table was where training sessions are held. You may notice that they are empty. That is because this season’s are done. And there will not be any in the fall due to staff cuts. -

One thing I notice about McDermott is once you earn your starting spot you basically keep it for the entire year. Only a few times do I remember him coming out of camp with positions not firmly in place and lasting all season. Wyatt Teller, was one of them. He replaced Ducasse and started the last handful of games and played well. Then was traded after being a starter. The other few were lineman as well. Spain, Ford, and a few others. But my point remains, I don't think we have seen a lot of movement for starters in any positions to who starts and doesn't without injury being a factor. It'll be interesting if he is trying to switch safeties mid season. It's not his MO. -
Bills 5th Round Pick (#2) : Jackson Hawes - TE - Georgia Tech
Mat68 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
A 5th rd pick with a probable role and is active on game days is a slam dunk. Is he Kelce? No. He can block his ass off and is a little more athletic than you think. Decent RAS like 7 something better than I expected. Strong case for TE3. Pairs well with Kincaid and Knox. -

Let's hope. I'm getting a little tired of our guys "almost" getting there. -

Best case scenario for me is Bishop and Forrest win the starting Safety spots. It would be a nice injection of athleticism we really lacked. I expect Rapp and Hamlin… -

The thing I don’t see in your link is anything about needing an instructor to take part in any online training. I think you are talking out your @ss. Again. -

I like them both as practice squad db's, personally. I think Hardy has a shot to earn backup NCB. I hope that Hancock locks down both backup NCB and #3 safety. Though that's a lot to ask from a rookie. -
Great video here on Landon Jackson and how he uses excellent hands, pass rush moves, length, and explosiveness as an edge rusher. Also mentioned is that his production was hurt because Arkansas used a lot of 3 linemen sets on their defense. This video was made pre-draft, so he mentions that he might not even go in the 1st round, but we know he didn't go until the 3rd round. Great pick by Buffalo!

I think Hancock is an upgrade over Lewis. I expect him to play special teams and see the field a bit due to being available. -

@PromoTheRobot - I would think posting a link for Bill "sextra" casting would violate the TOS, but what do I know, you cheeky monkey. -
This is the way I see things shaking out. CB1: Benford, Strong CB2: Hairston, White NCB: T. Johnson, Ingram FS: Forrest, Hamlin, Hancock SS: Rapp, Bishop I think Ingram sticks over Lewis and Jackson. I think Codrington and Hardy are battling for a roster spot strictly based on ST's. I think they keep one less LB on the roster to keep one more DB. I hope the LB cut is the Temu version of Klein, Baylon Spector.

I would guess it ends up cb1 Benford, Jackson, Strong cb 2 White/Hairston Slot Johnson, Hancock S Rapp, Bishop, Hamlin and Forest Codrington imo has no chance to make the 53 unless an injury puts a player on IR and opens a roster spot. That spot is going to a db. I think they like Lewis too much to keep him off the roster. I think him and Ingram are too limited. They are replaced by Hancock and Strong. -

Hamlin did a lot of good things last season, but he's probably the slowest safety I've seen play, ever. He's a quality backup, but way too slow to be a top starter. -
Um, that’s all the warning I need…… .

Back when writers knew their place and what their job was. That’s incomprehensible with todays sports “journalists”.
