Los Angeles under military attack

I dont have time to fact check every article you just posted, but I have no doubt each one could have holes poked in it. For instance, the first headline makes it look like the Brazilian was a US Citizen being detained for no reason. It appears from the small write up he was in fact not a US Citizen. The second article's headline makes it look like this poor pregnant woman was shoved for no reason other than ICE is a bunch of out of control nutcases. When in reality she was looking to harbor an illegal and resisting ICE's attempt to apprehend a criminal. Should a pregnant woman ever be shoved, no. Should a pregnant woman harbor criminals, also no. When you put yourself in bad situations, bad things happen. The last article is my favorite because it plays the "brown skin" card. ICE agents don't need warrants to arrest criminals. You can post as many sad empathy inducing headlines as you want, but the bottom line is these people are or are supporting criminals. -
Rules of “Mostly Peaceful” Protesting

I was actually curious how you get paid to protest and I found this https://crowdsondemand.com/protests-rallies-and-advocacy What I find most interesting is there is no way to apply for a position, so how do they find these people? -
This is the exact deal we had before “liberation day” only with worse tariffs lmao

Los Angeles under military attack
SCBills replied to Joe Ferguson forever's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I think most Americans have a soft spot for the hardworking undocumented immigrant that came here decades ago and has, for the most part, become part of our societal fabric. In a perfect world, we can distinguish between that person and the illegal immigrant here that has committed crimes beyond crossing the border illegally/overstaying a visa or is simply leeching of our system with zero desire to ever assimilate. The problem is, there is currently no mechanism to adjudicate all that and we can’t have a country where a Democrat President opens the borders for four years, letting who knows who into this country, and then when we elect someone to remove people here illegally, liberal judges block us from even removing hardened criminals and sanctuary jurisdictions block ICE from enforcing federal law. It’s sad to hear a story here and there about someone who most of us wish could stay.. but in that sweep is also 30x more rapists, drug dealers, human traffickers and people who came here with zero desire to contribute to society and simply contribute to overwhelming social services in the communities they reside. There are no good answers.. but a response is needed and for all the bleeding hearts for isolated sad stories, they never seemed to shed a tear for the woman raped and killed by an illegal, mother who lost her child to an illegal drunk driver, parent of a child OD on fentanyl or impoverished communities losing access to social services because their town/city became overwhelmed with people who don’t speak English and also need those services. -

Yes it was only 1 vote, but changed it to 2 point wider margin. They double counted someone else's vote who had voted for Lamar.

If you replied Josh is the only one who significantly moves the needle... I agree with you.

FEMA cuts, MAGA cries: the hypocrisy hits home

🤔... the way I interpreted that is the AP votes reflected Dungy voted for Lamar, but when Florio spoke to him he denied that, which is what made Florio question the result... I could be wrong... wouldn't want to step on your "Was it over when the German's bombed Pearl Harbor" moment...

Honestly if they are the two options I lean 2-4. I'd pick 1-5 if it were an option but these games are so close year on year (with the exception of the first one) that I find it difficult not to see the Bills getting a break one year.

This actually is kinda hysterical.... its like they are trying to tabulate votes in a Presidential election that needs to provide immediate results... Here they have 1 job. Count 50 votes with over a month to count them and double check...I am gonna channel my inner Tom Jackson... "C'mon man!" IYKYK LOL

bs. my paying 10k more without everyone else above me having their rates increased. would be spit in the ocean on the deficit. totally futile. waste of money. conversely, increasing the tax on everyone over $250 or $400 k would make a dent and is the answer along with cutting spending. Who doesn't like money? People that don't have it? I didn't steal anything unlike the president who you apologize for. bs. This was escalated and engineered by the trump admin. Plays perfectly into their hands and was recommended in project 2025 (use military against Americans). With widespread protests, their power grows and tactics rationalized. Admittedly, Mexican flags and violence are counterproductive and present very bad optics. Removing or jailing those involved in violence is clearly indicated
