  1. Past hour
  2. Yes, Houston Texans is not to be feared. They have the number one defense, but it's a not an historic one like the 1986 Chicago Bears, 2000 Ravens, 2004 Buccaneers, Peyton Manning's Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks' Legion of Boom, Brady's Patriots, Mahomes' Chiefs, recent Eagles defense. C'mon, Houston Texans is not on that level and, tonight, they showed they can be beaten. We came close tonight.
  3. So when we see what a good defense does to a good offense we think…our offense needs to be better. We can’t imagine how good our current offense would be with a defense like Houston’s, we can only imagine our offense being better.
  4. Gabe with a huge catch late
  5. There are 6 games left. 4-2 (11-6 record) very likely gets in, 3-3 (10-7 record) is more dicey and probably comes down to tie breakers. We have the tie breaker over KC and BAL. We don't have the tie breaker of HOU. We will get a chance to get the tie breaker over PIT. Now the PIT game is pretty big. We can likely go 3-3 the rest of the way as long as one of the wins is PIT.
  6. Its insane. It’s driving 30 miles an hour in a Bugatti. I don’t get it.
  7. I think we’ll just agree to disagree.
  8. Hunter is born the same year as Milano but amazing.
  9. Kind of crazy his entire career is all thanks to designing plays for Burrow, Chase, and Jefferson going up against future sales reps and personal trainers.
  10. Things looked pretty dire in 2021 and 2023, but we still somehow won the division, so I can't write us off completely. But, IDK, this year just feels different. I don't think we have the talent to get it done.
  11. Think of Tyrell Shavers as Keon Coleman.
  12. Hope? What’s there to have hope about? Our team doesn’t have a number one receiver, in fact we basically pushed him out the door because he missed a meeting (sound familiar? Diggs??) our linebackers can’t tackle, we have a 35 year old safety leading our team in tackles, and have maybe the weakest pair of d lineman in the league. We will get mauled by any top team in their divisons (outside of Steelers, but the ravens will be 1st sooner or later and that statement will hold true). This season is over! And until you people realize that then we will just be stuck hoping and praying for changes that won’t come!!! Not to mention our linebackers are made of Swiss cheese! Bernard and Milano are hurt every damn game!
  13. Ridiculous take He's top3 pace in the league for efficiency metrics
  14. why should we even watch then? why re you posting at 1am instead of sleeping. We're all frustrated, but, unlike with the abortion called the Sabres, there's always hope with the Bills
  15. And it might actually work if Trubiskey was the starter AND McD/Bean had done a better job with the defensive player drafts and FA signings. Instead we have a Bills management that is squandering a uniquely gifted QB, the kind that teams tank their season to draft, while also fielding a very bad defensive unit. That they're 7 - 4 with a still decent chance of making the playoffs is almost entirely due to Allen's play.
  16. He had seven pro bowl players in 2022.. multiple all pros and pro bowlers in 2023 Mark rypian won a Super bowl starting.. so did Doug Williams Josh excels anyways off script what makes you think he would excel in this shanahan West Coast offense where everything is designed to be three steps in the ball is out... When Josh doesn't even play that style of football consistently That's not his style.. Josh is a five-step guy a seven step guy move around the pocket create.. everything about shanahan is literally designed They drafted a quarterback third overall who could not fit into that offense but he had a crazy arm and athleticism like Josh Allen.. was even drafted higher than Josh Allen Now I'm not saying that he should have been better.. but Kyle shanahan was said to have loved him hitched his wagon to him and Mr irrelevant ran his offense better It's not about who's more talented at quarterback it's about who is willing to run his offense which is script and makes it boring to play.. Josh is not a scripted guy People would say we're holding josh back now would be saying it in shanahan's offense too.. it's very scripted and robotic Everybody saying we need to get Josh out of this robotic feeling but that's exactly what Kyle shanahan does
  17. Think of Joe Brady as Ken Dorsey.
  18. With them both being on new deals, I assume their dead cap hit would make them untradeable for a few years
  19. I mean Garoppolo had very efficient numbers in his time there and looked the part the first couple of seasons, too. Shanahan obviously has some real upsides as an offensive mind but given the relative strength of conference in his time as HC of the 49ers and the overall strength of his roster most years I would view him as more of a Top 10 guy than a Top 3 guy.
  20. And that was his fault. It doesn't need to be as complicated as he's making it. It's not anything new. He was awful to start off the previous game before he just started racking up an insane amount of TDs too. He's looked off all year. He's processing slow and locking in on the play that he wants to hit, instead of the play that's there. He has lost the ability to sense pressure and is taking dangerous sacks He's no longer able to process defenses and is throwing balls in to prime places to be picked or easily defensed. He looks like a man who's tired, distracted, and not putting in the work to keep himself at his former level. In spit of this, a lot of folks are glazing him for his heroics, but those heroics are only necessary because he refuses to take the easy play. We have the best rushing attack in football this year, and he's still making the game hard.
  21. I agree that wasn't ideal, but not counting turnovers in the redzone, the defense gave up 17 points. I cut them a little bit of slack with the TD at the end of the half too, because they had no rest between drives due to the kickoff return TD. If the offensive line was 15% better I think we probably win. Just a really bad game for them in terms of pass protection and run blocking.
  22. Beane and McDermott haven't won *****
  23. They look like ass on the road in the regular season. They aint winning crap on the road in the playoffs. This is a fundamentally flawed team to begin with that has critical long term injuries at key positions. Milano and Johnson are cooked as well. Rousseau, what a nitemare. Add in our strong spot, the o line, has big time problems too. Terrible. Beane has failed them.
  24. If NE wins over Cincinnati...I'll pretty much concede the division. But until then...Bills baby!
  25. Leave some running backs back there to block. It’s idiotic that that OC cannot do that he needs to be fired. I know he listens to McDermott. We’re lucky Josh didn’t get hurt tonight. He was pummeled. And why wasn’t he rolling out? Was that OC keeping him in a box or something? I hardly saw him roll out what was that all about? I think McDermott has a hand in the offense too. He has a play sheet.
  26. We tend to have very good Decembers. I'll give McDermott that - we close strong. This is a different team, though. We really can't impose our will on other teams like we used to, or score as prolifically. But it's also a different year for the AFC. Every team out there is pretty flawed. There is always hope.
