  1. Past hour
  2. That looked like a called option play for Josh to run and have the option to Hawes.
  3. That’s cute. Who ***** cares. So why would the idiot impose a 100k fee on H-1B visas. We use other nations geniuses to our advantage. this is like tariffs. Trumpers literally don’t understand how tariffs work or how America actually takes advantage of the whole world while Trump screams the opposite and they believe it. Just like how they won the 2020 election.
  4. Do you think he has a lingering injury or playing it "safer" to possibly avoid another concussion? I'm worried too. Actually now that I think about it, didn't he get kicked in the balls or have his wind knocked out before halftime... Maybe he was a little sore?
  5. "YoungHoe" is a great name for a hip hop artist.
  6. If they do put Milano on IR they need another linebacker. They can't have just 4 on the roster. Especially if they want to carry on running more 4-3 base (which they shouldn't but maybe they do).
  7. I like Gore, but he fumbled in preseason and McDermott will probably need a full year to forgive him.
  8. Shaq Thompson looked pretty good so if we did have to put Milano on temporary IR we’d be fine over this cupcake stretch. Also if that happened and we could activate both Grable and Hairston from IR and bring in the 2 suspended knuckleheads I’d just get rid of the 3 players that contribute the least to our current roster: 1. Curtis Samuel - expendable and not a real WR 2. Codrington - luxury pick not needed 3. Hamlin - easily stashed on PS. Hancock time 🥳 I get that some people look strictly at numbers but I LOVE our OL depth and don’t want to trade any away in case of significant injuries later in the season and why not stack up the DL and let the cream rise to the top. Odd man out can be traded near the deadline if need be. Solomon and Epenesa have value even if us Bills fans don’t see it and plus Jackson seems to be entrenched on the not ready for action/ inactive list for the time being
  9. On #1 I get why the focus is on Tre. He didn't have the sort of day he had vs the Jets (where he was very good). He had two "bad look" plays the touchdown and the crosser in the 4th Quarter but @HappyDays has already described why the touchdown was basically a coaching error more than a player one - I agree and the crosser on Waddle was pretty much the same tbh. Tre White is never winning that look in man coverage going horizontally across the field with Jaylen Waddle. Hell absolute prime Tre White isn't winning there. Overall he was not terrible. He gave up 5 catches on 6 targets but for only 27 yards. He is CB2 in this scheme. That role traditionally gives up catches but not yards. Benford was much the weaker corner on Thursday and has already given up more touchdowns this season (3) than in any other season of his career (never more than 2 before). I am a big Benford fan but I'm concerned. That was his worst game as a Bill IMO.
  10. I like Davis but I would love see Gore get a chance. Now is the time.
  11. Yes a generational generic freak would be great. Unfortunately, those types are very few and far between.
  12. They run blitzed a DB up a ton in that 3rd quarter especially. Did you think as I did that the obvious counter was to run some of those quick tunnel screens Brady usually loves to get the ball to the outside given how many Miami was committing to the point of attack to stop Cook? To me it was crying out for that and they are among Brady's favourite plays normally, even when maybe the looks are less favourable. Thought it was odd we didn't see any of them in response to what Miami was doing in the second half.
  13. I’d say for many of us, the concern about Jimmy Kimmel getting temporarily furloughed at work for saying stupid things is pretty far down the list of things to be worried about. That said, I agree the FCC’s position is unreasonable, but happens sometimes. Kimmel is free to say whatever he wants to say, and with few exceptions will be left alone for the duration of his life. If he wants to paint his face, he can have at it.
  14. That was much more a bad play call than a bad rep IMO. That whole sequence actually was terrible for Babich. On the 3rd down prior you have Tyreek Hill in the backfield which should immediately be a signal for the defense, and instead we literally just let him run free out of the backfield with no one even attempting to cover him. Easy pitch and catch for a 1st down. Then on the play you mentioned Tre is playing with outside leverage and he has no inside help for Jaylen freaking Waddle?? No CB in the league is stopping that TD. I'll give Babich the benefit of the doubt by declaring it a miscommunication because the alternative is too sickening to consider.
  15. I personally believe Milano is way more injured than they are letting on. Pectoral issues normally are lengthy healing processes. I of course don't know exactly how bad the injury truly is but if I was placing a bet...I don't think we see him for a while. Franklin isn't a guy that I think would be claimed on waivers. He would go to the PS and have his call ups. That would buy a few weeks. Hamlin has value to this team. He may even have more value in his reduced role as he did as a starter. He's good right where he is, 2nd team. But having a guy that's been a starter in this system on the main roster is very valuable both as a voice in the S room to help Bishop and as an experienced guy in the system if we need him due to injury in a game. He's also a pretty solid core special teamer. Lastly I don't think we even save any money by cutting him, though I'm too lazy ATM to look it up lol
  16. I don't think either Davis or Johnson have been great thus far to be honest. Johnson was a bit better this week but thank heavens we got the Cook contract sorted. The people arguing with our offensive line it didn't really matter who the running back was woulda had the shock of their lives if we were watching Davis and Johnson as our primary ball carriers right now.
  17. Disagree. Tre didn't play in week 1, split snaps with Dorian in week 2 and then played all the snaps in week 3. This tells you that the coaching staff wants him in game shape so that they can depend on him as a known quantity/variable and defensive leader. Of course Strong (and eventually Hairston) needs snaps to develop but with Cole Bishop having only started 7 games and Dorian Williams having only started 16 games in 3 seasons, and with Shaq Thompson, Joey Bosa, Deone Walker, and TJ Sanders all trying to assimilate into the defense, the last thing the Bills need is to force a rookie cornerback into what is already a bucket of moving parts. I'm predicting there will be some blowouts in the Bills near future and that's when Strong can pickup valuable playing time.
  18. And he is our best skill position player by a mile. In the redzone call plays for your best players. Could they have thrown it? Sure. Is running James Cook down there when he is our most reliable weapon ever a major mistake? No.
  19. More than anything Buffalo needs a mauler. A Derrick Henry type of RB..
  20. Last year I thought the three best players not named Josh Allen were Cook, Benford, and Brown. So far this year Cook is the only one of them that has lived up to his own standard IMO and if anything has gotten even better. Benford is still the best tackler in our secondary but he has had some rough pass coverage reps. Brown is still an elite run blocker but has taken too many L's in pass protection. Benford and Brown both dealt with injuries in the offseason so I don't know if that's having an effect but we need our best players to get back to the level they were at last year.
  21. Was on board with Codrington cut for Hairston. If Milano is healthy you can’t IR him but I like the idea if he really does need the time. The only one I don’t want to see is Franklin gone. He’s been awesome on ST and I have to believe he’d be just as good or better than Hamlin at safety in a pinch so bye bye Hamlin go to PS (no other team is picking him up for their active roster) and start activating Hancock if healthy. I am also fine with Curtis Samuel being cut like Gunner said earlier. Moore fills what Samuel was supposed to be and then some
  22. For sure he is. But after Josh the next best thing the Bills have is James Cook (and by a distance). Calling a play for Cook there is never something that deserves the level of critcism some want to throw Brady's way. Indeed later in the game they called Josh's number in the deeper red area the play was a bust, they got lucky with the unnecessary roughness and then instead of getting cute with a 2nd opportunity they gave the ball to James Cook - touchdown. The kid had 16 last year. He has 4 already this. In terms of things we know work for the Buffalo Bills in the redzone giving the ball to James Cook is right up there with get Josh on the move.
  23. Yeah I was talking about him earlier today. But you hit the nail on the head. He's fallen off from last year and the snap counts/touches show the coaching staff sees it too. The few times he has touched the ball on offense he's been gobbled up and very unimpressive. He had 9 carriers against the Jets (24 yards 2.7ypc) and only 1 carry for 2 yards against the Ravens ("adding" 1 catch for -1 yard). I could see the Bills giving him another game or two before they try and elevate Gore and see what he can do and Davis becomes the dreaded 'healthy scratch'. But here's the thing. We need SOMEONE to take a few of the carries a game away from Cook. We don't want him to handle 90-95% of the carries in offense for the season. He's not a big guy and chances are come playoff time he will be at or near the wall.
  24. Thanks for sharing. I really noticed him but the breakdown is what I needed to confirm what I thought I was seeing. He has to earn more reps as the season goes on if he keeps this up.
  25. Davis is 5”8, regardless if it’s 220 or 208, it’s a very compact build and he’s going to be bringing a lot of power. Johnson emerged more towards the end of last season. They like him in passing downs a lot. You also can’t tip your hand with him in the game so he’s going to get some carries. Ultimately I think this is more about them preferring Cook and Johnson vs any weight concerns with Davis.
