Reasons for optimism, has needle moved at an improved roster this year?

Top 5 offense improved outside. Defensive line revamped and a healthy second level improves the overall defense. -
Reasons for optimism, has needle moved at an improved roster this year?

My feelings/nonprofessional assessment: Reasons for optimism IF Keon translates what the hype has been to production IF Milano stays healthy IF Bosa regains from AND stays healthy IF Kincaid gets over sophomore slump and turns into a top 10 receivingTE IF one or two of our new picks click and surprise us Reasons to not Current Injury situation DB's look like a fire drill Lack of apparent progress by Bishop Lack of apparent improvement in interior DL TBD in the regular season cause pre season judgement/performance dont cut it Concern with overall defensive scheme, philosopy and coaching... Pre Season is not the time to unveil major changes, but will it Tyler Bass looks shaky to me not sure what to think Special teams again looked shaky Shavers looked really good but will he have a chance to make an impact and then translate Will Samuel produce or sit in an ice bath Does Bosa help Rousseau Lots of if's here as well as "fan who really wants to win it all and tends to over react" things too lol... in the end, we have Josh and as long as we have Josh we have a chance... lets hope our concerns are unfounded and the IFs come to fruition... -
We all got this creep-o to thank for creating the "Wall of Sound" technique that keeps people hooked: The game really isn't any different today...

That's how hard knocks gets its compelling and emotional footage. They try to follow guys who are going to get cut because you are supposed to feel bad for them when they get cut or super happy for them if they make the team against all odds.

November 2026 The Mid-Terms

100% of the hate against Poyer imo is he was beat by Cook for a TD. Prime Po doesn't catch him either. Im not sure many understand how much the coverage changed with Hamlin on the field. He was hid. Created the worst pass defense I can remember this team having. Dick Jauron bad. Poyer is healthy and I would rather him on the field. If used like Hamlin last season, his instincts and physicality shrink those windows. Poyer to me is Hamlin insurance.

So he’s obviously doing this so that he can afford a PSL next season. Obviously.

Nixon had a few crazies that freaked his narcissistic self, leading to incredible rediculous actions during an election he won by historic proportions. Yesterday's news coverage of his WH staff meeting demonstrated there are 100 times more in the administration. They all do things to please that ego. The difference is that in 1972 the oval office did not have crazies in the justice department and fear in congress.

Anything to distract from the real crime boss openly protecting child trafficking on top of endless criminal behavior. Smells of desperation. Yet the cult eats it up. Rabid. Charlie Kirk? What a turd. CHARLIE KIRK (HOST): But maybe one of the reasons why Taylor Swift has been so, just, kind of annoyingly liberal over the last couple of years is that she's not yet married and she doesn't have children. I say this non-sarcastically. I say this as a husband and a father. Having children changes you. Getting married changes you, and I hope that America's biggest pop star marrying the pharmaceutical spokesperson ends up conservatizing them. Taylor Swift might deradicalize herself. She might come back down to reality. I want them to have lots of children. It teaches something about -- teaches you something about yourself. All kidding and sarcasm aside, this is something that I hope will make Taylor Swift more conservative. Engage in reality more and get outside of the abstract clouds. Reject feminism. Submit to your husband, Taylor. You're not in charge. Reminds me of MAGA submitting to their leader.

i wish these rivalry things went about as far as you could go. like totally offensive. for the jets they could feature tuna nets or mri scans of Tua's head. for the fins they could put a picture of a random september day about 24 years ago. that'd be a heated rivalry statement right there.

Would Jesus like Alligator Alcatraz?
SectionC3 replied to SectionC3's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
This is sort of the point of the whole thing. I have no doubt that the teachings of Jesus support, or at least do not prohibit, border security. I question whether they support such things as, for example, Japanese internment, or the gulag in El Salvador. In my view, Alligator Alcatraz calls into that group as well. One can have border security without the alligator or cornhusker camps. (As an aside, the cornhusker camp is particularly dumb for a state that's having trouble with its harvest.) -
i thought that (about davidson) but hope that is not the case. i am sure the team has a lot of editorial ability with the product which waters it down tremendously but i would like to think that the show is more of a documentary vs a reality show. i don't need real world. i need a hungry lion stalking a baby giraffe because it is feast or famine. either way, i am surprised that Davidson didn't earn a spot over anyone else. i expect he will be on a roster as a TE somewhere. i figured he or quinton morris would be on the PS since Morris was cut by the Saints. maybe i am partial because he is a BGSU falcon but i liked him. i'm a sucker for the MAC schools because they are fun to watch and almost as good as the Big 10. they're a lot better than the redneck schools of hillbillies and criminals of the SEC.

Reasons for optimism, has needle moved at an improved roster this year?
Lost replied to Jistafan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hear your arguments but Hoecht and Ogunjobi wont even be here for a third of the season. Our 1st round draft pick isn't gonna be available for a third of the season. The rest of our rookie D-lineman are at this point rotational depth guys. The ravens drafted what is going to be a day 1 starter at safety in Starks and another 2nd rd steal in Mike Green who certainly has elite traits. The Chiefs have drafted two day 1 starters in Simmons and Lott. I think it's safe to say our competition's rookies have a leg up on us at least in terms of playing time. We still don't know what we're gonna get with Bosa. He looked good in camp but has an injury history. Hopefully he doesn't flame out like Von did. That's why I'm keeping my expectations low for him. Same with Tre White. Last year everyone was saying he was washed. He did have a decent camp this year but can he carry it over to the regular season? Can he stay healthy til we get the rookie back and up to speed? Bishop has had an up and down camp but it appears he's earned the starting job over Hamlin for now. Until he shows some quality safety play on the field however I would consider it a sidegrade. Maybe we had it too good with Hyde and Poyer all those years because everything we've had since then has been milquetoast. I'm reserving judgement on Josh Palmer. Despite all the separator talk, he has yet to light the league on fire. If he were to surpass the 5 TD catches Mack Hollins had with us last season I would be impressed. At the end of the day we're still trying to replicate Digg's production. Our WR group was bottom 5 in the league last year so it would be hard not improve on that. I'm sure one of our guys is gonna step up and have a big time year, not quite sure who but my money is on Keon. I'm excited for the season, just trying to keep my expectations tempered. We got pretty lucky with turnover differential last year which helped our offense get more points on the board but that will be tough to replicate. -
A marginally interesting aspect of this for me is that it's questionable whether the Bills would even use this as bulletin board material. While teams generally pounce on the opportunity to use snubs for motivation, in this case it sends the message that individual accolades are more important than team ones... never a good message.

Ulofoshio got the boot pretty quick. Usually McBean gives their own draft picks a little more time. I think Wilkerson could produce in a pinch.
-
Poyer was the higher rated player in 24. I know PFF isn't the gold standard it is a public grading system though. Also Poyer was still being used in multiple ways in 23 and last year with Miami. I would use Poyer here the way they used Hamlin. Buffalo schemed around Hamlin due to his limitations. Poyer on the field even if he is playing dummy D to start will catch Hamlin.

Bills Initial Roster - No real surprises
Paup 1995MVP replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Our receivers like our DB’s are always banged up over the 17 game season. All 6 receivers will get opportunities. It’s a real solid group this year. At least on paper it is. -
Just Curious what were most surprising cuts NFL wide?
eball replied to Jistafan's topic in The Stadium Wall
If their owner can keep himself from meddling (unlikely) I think they have a good coach in Canales, and Young seemed to take a significant step forward in the latter part of the year. -
I think it comes down to: They knew what they had in White. They wanted to see what they had in Beuchele. Ultimately the Bills have to do what's best for the team above what's best for the individual.

Yeah, I refuse to get butt hurt about individual accolades...W/L and winning the last game of the season is really all I care about...
