You might be right, but it seems to me that it has more to do with McDermott's temperament. He's willing to roll the dice on offense, but he's always been as conservative as a cat on defense, his supposed bailiwick. To be fair, his approach does get it done (although what approach wouldn't when you have the highest-scoring offense in the league), but in the playoffs, it's akin to waving the white flag. He might as well cup his hands and yell over to Reid, "hey, Andy! I'll let you score at will, but keep it under 32 points this year, ok?"

Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 3

His decisiveness and timing were noticably better but it's such a small sample size I can't really say more than that. Better than a bad performance though. Wrt Shavers and special teams, he was an ace in college. I am really interested to see what he would look like as a core teamer during the regular season (i.e., not splitting reps all off-season) -
Thanks for sharing what keeps you up at night.

Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 3

I thought Cole was fine this week. He didn't stand out but no mistakes that were immediately noticeable. -
To the extent I'm optimistic the Bills go all the way this year, I think it will depend on Allen taking it up still another notch in order to overcome the continuing deficiencies of his head coach in the playoffs. I suspect he knows that. As I've said elsewhere, I'm not confident McDermott could go all the way with any roster in the league. He's a deer in the headlights when he faces KC, shocked--shocked!--that his bend-don't-break defense breaks when it matters most, even though it has happened time after time after time after time. If this team finally reach the Super Bowl, it will be despite McDermott, not because of him.

From Sal Capaccio (WGR550): âBeen asked several times for the scenario if TreâDavious White is out any length of time/into the regular season. Here are my thoughts: If theyâre confident Tre can play Wk 1, I think JaâMarcus Ingram makes the roster over Dane Jackson because Ingram offers more versatility. He can play outside, nickel, and dime safety. If White is going to be out a significant length of time, I think Jackson gets a spot on the roster. That doesnât mean it would be for Ingram, specifically. It could be for him or someone else at another position. It could also lead to Tre being on IR/Return and open a spot, anyway. If White might miss a couple weeks, I think Ingram still makes the roster over Jackson, and then Jackson can be elevated from the PS for a couple games.â

Man, get over yourself. Youâre living in one of the greatest eras of Bills history and this is what you write about? 6 straight 10+ win seasons and 5 division titles? To answer your question? I donât know why youâre here.

Very fine people, right @BillsFanNC?

How many days ago did Tre injure his leg, three days ago? And they are still waiting for MRI?

yea.. right off the bat.. I disagree with Joe BIG TIME... Walker got double teamed... another words.. he took on 2 players. there are going to be times where many DT 330+ pounds will get taken out. Fact that he needed to be double teamed on a play like this is great... cause it shows he is doing his Job as 1 tech.. 1 Tech DT is not all about big plays.. its about demanding double team. I will argue also on a defensive design like that.. letting your 1 Tech DT getting taken out is what you want cause it makes it easier for your S. and LB to do their job. Fact is.. he took 2 individuals out of the play making it easier for the S/LB to get in there job I will also add that, that TB guard did a great job pushing on that shoulder. That is what turned Walker around. This is why I prefer Cover 1 all 22 over this guy.
