The only time I have experienced that much emotional wreckage from a game was throwback. Even for Bills fans, at some point it looks over. That one looked over and it was accomplished in incredible fashion. We have had some crazy heartbreak in the regular season, but it hits different in the playoffs.

Super star though? No. But starting with when McDermott had a little 1:1 sideline "mound visit" with him in the New England MNF wind game, Milano has had multiple stretches of All-Pro play. Ed Oliver against Detroit in 2024 was bonkers. So...there was that.

I feel like it’s a perfect storm with this guy. There has been zero buzz, no expectations and he has legitimate all Pro Ability. That seems to be the type of combination that results in being pleasantly surprised.
