Yep - same here in CT. I like the morning crew but everything after noon sucks: Hockey 12-1, tasker, brown, Maddy, etc I can't listen too. Marino's podcast is really good

It took me nearly a week to go back and just watch highlights of the AFCCG from this year, and I skip past any KC highlights. I was kickin' rocks for a while after that one. Really believed they were gonna pull it off at the end there. To me, that one has been the worst playoff loss they've had in the Allen Era. I don't think I've ever rewatched a full game, I'll just scroll thru highlights. It's still fun to scroll thru the Denver and Baltimore games. When they win a Super Bowl, I'll probably rewatch that one and go thru the highlights everyday for like a month straight afterwards.

Between the two dodos Gary and Randy doing Sportscenter AM, Stephen A., Pat McAfee, Orlovsky and Booger, ESPN has fatally jumped the shark. I find myself going to the internet and just reading rather than watch ESPN's harakiri lineup.

Network pricing to watch all NFL games in 2025
Einstein replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I will never understand people advocating illegal streams. For some reason, it being media makes it pallatable for people to say things like like this. But most of us would never say “oh that restaurant meal was expensive - but there are ways to skip out the door before paying without the waitress knowing”. Why not just straight up say “i’m a thief”? -
Latest Wande Owens (UDFA) Hype
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah have to agree. No one from Hamlin, lewis, forest, or hancock is really a lock in the safety room. There's also no major cap ramifications cutting anyone for a UDFA, since the UDFA salary is so low. Also - the 4th safety? He's a special teamer... so that goes into the evaluation as well. -
Doubt he ever goes back to California. He'll be back in Florida next (and I assume he already has another house down there)

I am pretty sure that is not true. -
I, I will be king And you, you will be queen Though nothing will drive them away We can beat them, just for one day We can be heroes, just for one day And you, you can be mean And I, I'll drink all the time 'Cause we're lovers, and that is a fact Yes we're lovers, and that is that Though nothing will keep us together We could steal time just for one day We can be heroes for ever and ever What d'you say?

Bills selected Cody Ford with 39th pick. He didn’t fit our scheme or culture, so no use to us. AJ Brown went 51 and DK Metcalf went 64. Bills have been whiffing on many excellent WR draft opportunities since McDermott/Beane TSW sages were pounding the table for AJ Brown or DK Metcalf, and outraged when we didn’t select or trade up for either one. The receipts are here. Search back to 2019 draft and marvel at TSW sages recognizing that our draft board was 1 AJ, 2 DJ, clearly above any other player. It was obvious!

That ringing in the background always does it for me.

Dont delete. This has become an entertaining "word soup" of a thread.

Network pricing to watch all NFL games in 2025
Jukester replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I get the point and yes it has gotten ridiculous, but slightly misleading. You don’t need YTTV sub to get Sunday Ticket. They offer it standalone. -
Sounds like your problem is with the insurance company. See above.

I'm largely in agreement with this. I might go farther. I was in the same spot as Jeremy when they drafted Allen. I believed the national articles about him. I can't be too critical of Jeremy for it because I did the same thing. The hosts end up talking sports for 20 hours of programming each week...even during the off season. Any host is going to make some bad calls. That is not unique to our market. National guys are often brutally wrong. But Brown and Tasker are homers! Sure, but I can't criticize them for being homers and then criticize the afternoon show for their everybody snacks snark. The fact is that WGR neither sucks nor is awesome. Personal taste will mean that I might like some people more than others, but Pete nailed it - it is still like oxygen.

I've not been to a lot of games at Highmark but those that I have been to I have never had a really bad seat where I couldn't see the field, the place has good sight lines from most anywhere in the stadium . It's going to kind of suck to see the old girl tore down after all these years ! I remember when it was first opened and they use to have those mega concerts . One of the firsts was Clapton & The Band, there were many more great concerts at what it was known as Rich Stadium . They have a site called concert Archives and you can go to Rich stadium and pull up all the shows that were there if interested . If only those walls could talk what stories they could tell . Thanks for all the Rich memories that The Ralph has provided even in the New Era of the field that set a very Highmark for all other stadiums in the area ...

If you see one of those, you can safely ignore it until it's resolved or removed; one of which will happen within 24hrs.

The draft is a crap shoot. First and second rounders bust all the time. How many TSW sages were convinced that Beane drafted the "Wrong Josh"? I missed out on being in that group only because I wanted a) Baker Mayfield or b) Lamar Jackson. Nobody really knows how these kids are going to turn out. BTW, Cody Ford is still playing in the NFL. The Browns recently re-signed him for 2025 IIRC.

I wonder how much an equivalent house built in WNY would cost (same finishings and everything). $1.5m?

From Buffalo News front page today: Bills on Pace to Sell Out PSL’s for New Stadium The Buffalo Bills say the pace of personal seat license sales has picked up dramatically with the lower price points in the first level and then more recently, in the upper level. But will this surge in sales be enough to get every seat sold and every PSL under contract before the new $2.2 billion stadium opens for the 2026 season? That is likely to happen by early next year if the pace of sales continues as it has for the past several months. At that rate, the Bills may be able to sell around 9,000 PSLs during the latest quarter, from April through June. We've had this discussion before. Please tell me about "Biden's" accomplishments? Notice Biden is quotations as no one is completely sure Biden was even running the country.
