Thank you for your service. These guys nailed it above with where we're at. We got old in players & scheme and the rest of the league caught up. It's a reflection of poor personnel decisions by Brandon Beane and stale coaching. Happens after 9 years. (KC is going through similar problems). Patriots will contend for the division going forward. The Bills defense outplayed the Texans defense in the second half by only giving up 60 yards and only two first downs! It was complete domination. We had a 100 yard rusher against the best defense in football and converted a 4th and 27 which will probably never happen again. None of our wide receivers got injured in this game and we maybe Keon Coleman will play against the Steelers. We will get to see how our backup right tackle can do against TJ Watt. What a great learning experience for that young man and what better way to prep him for Myles Garrett. That's all I got in my silver lining fantasy.

I kind of agree, although perhaps keep him as run game coordinator and find a passing game specialist. My thoughts are that an offense should be dictating to the defense and not the other way around. Go spread formation and run a hurry up offense to gas those defensive players and run misdirection plays to also wear them out.

I remember the early days of the season when the Patriots were a bad team. It was more or less consensus here. Now it’s an impossible thought that they go on a small bad streak and lose a couple of games. It’s a weird world, I guess.

You have to wonder if the first string ref would have noticed and reset the play clock (or taken an official timeout). Hard to imagine that the protocol is just go with a blind play clock and let everyone guess. Take an official timeout, let TV cut to commercial, and get the technical crew to fix the play clock. Home team should be fined.
