We've already changed the Offensive scheme a few times in McD's tenure, and 3 times with Josh, so probably not a big deal at this point. We have the OL, we have the QB, we have the RB. Just need some WRs and better playcalling. And a wholesale Defensive scheme change is exactly what I'm hoping for. So you're only selling me further on it. You're also missing the recent Philadelphia Eagles from your list because your criteria is too narrow. Pederson was fired after technically a losing record, keeping them off the list, but that record was mostly due to injuries and QB changes. Pederson was fired shortly after winning a SB and with a good roster, and Siriani stepped right in and took them right back to the top of the mountain.

OBJ was never in my interests. Watkins I drank the Kool-Aid. I was hesitant on Watkins though because I'm too old school. 6'+, 200lbs WRs are a minimum for me as a boundary wr. You can't coach size. Speed they say can't be coached but playing speed is different than track speed and you can work with speed development and coach speed!

You are missing the biggest ones. Walsh and Parcells. But not in terms of winning. Sean Payton, Tom Coughlin, and Belichick all won Super Bowls - 9 in total. And Payton certainly considers himself a Parcells guy if you have any doubts (even though he didn’t start with Parcells). In terms of actual winning, Parcells remains the ultimate boss.

Daboll had a lot of coaching experience including stints as an offensive coordinator before joining for the Bills. I am not sure there are formal rules for “coaching tree” but I don’t think Daboll himself would credit McDermott as his biggest influence.

Sammy Watkins over: Khalil Mack Mike Evans Odell Beckham Jr Aaron Donald Davante Adams (and for what it's worth, we picked Cyrus Kouandjio over Davante Adams too)

They should just name a Pro Bowl team but scrap any plans of a game or skills competition etc. Jumped the shark a long time ago -
I picture McD in front of his computer reading a clickbait article called '5 Weird Tricks to help your Neck'.

Completely worthless game nowadays. Disgrace!

Oh wow, I guess you are right. I misread and thought it said Walsh or Belichick. I wonder if there will be another HC that is influential for a while.

Where does a betting website get that compensation? It seems low to me, but do they have some odds about it? I’d give away a kidney for waddle.

2026 1st and Coleman for Olave. Or 2026 2nd and Coleman for Shaheed

Evabody wearing adidas, Puma, Converse. Beane trying to get by with Liberty specials, and some of those via Goodwill. Geezers will get my reference. 😁 -

Watch it turn into an arbitrary penalty flag fest thanks to PED abusing officials. 🤨 -

Beane has him penciled in for mid season signing in 2026. 🤨

Trade up for Watkins and missing out on Aaron Darnold even if we stayed at pick 9 if want to play devil's advocate.

Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?

That is true, at least his best season was last season. Has a light come on and his game ascended or is it just a blip in a contract year as you say? I believe that Lamar is on the verge of returning, so it is true that it is unlikely he is available. I was just trying to propose someone who isn't Shaheed or Olave. The "problem" is that there are maybe only 6 teams as of now that have, in my opinion, no shot at winning their division. Dolphins and Jets, you would assume any trades are a non-starter. Raiders and Cardinals, Gannon is looking to hang on and Carroll is like 74 and I'd assume he thinks that they still have a shot - he looks physically great but does he conceded the season and rebuild? Leaving the Titans and the Saints, the teams with zero chance. Titans should try and keep some pieces around Ward and the Saints play well in patches whilst only having 1 win. We got to have the faith that Beane is trying to do something as we have only 4 healthy WR right now, Samuel is always banged up and is never in good health.
