Will Josh Allen want to stick around for a rebuild?
stuvian replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
We shouldn't need a full rebuild. Look at the Rams and Seahawks. If Clappys scheme has us undersized on D then he or it must go. Beanes scouting system is failing. No impact defenders in 8 seasons. Philly brings in vets like Zach Baun. Other playoff teams are improving while we regress. -
My wife just freaking saved it

Bills are Fool's Gold: Intentions Versus Results

Fish stinks from the head down. Beane and McDermott -
You are using last week against a divisional opponent to insinuate he isn't a top tier QB? I am looking at the big picture. He is unbelievable this season and no AFC team is stopping that offense. The Eagles probably can stop them. Adams is not even 33 yet lulz System wide receiver or not, he gets open and produces. He is a top WR. On paper, the Rams are much better than us. But any given Sunday.

They certainly aren't a "lean and mean" team. It's always been a problem.

Brandin Cooks' contract manouvers point to tampering
strive_for_five_guy replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well they tried to alter his current contract so that he’d likely go unclaimed on waivers and he could decide where he’d go next. Because it sounds like with how his contract currently stands, teams are more likely to submit waiver claims and Cooks wouldn’t control where he goes. -

Bills are Fool's Gold: Intentions Versus Results
KOKBILLS replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall
Joe Marino from Locked On Bills has been commenting on this general subject throughout the year... Like... He'll prepare a gameplan based on advanced scouting of an opponent and say...the Atlanta game... that's a small Defense and we need to lean on them with heavy personnel, wear them down and attack the middle of their Defense. And I think when you look at our TD drive coming out in the 3rd quarter he was exactly right. But that was the only drive we really showed that desire... I kind of felt the same about the Texans D... I know most Bills fans don't want to hear this...lol... But that is a VERY good Defense and they are good all over. I felt like the way you beat a Defense like that is to 3-7 yard them all game... Run a lot, and hope that by the 4th quarter on a short week they are worn out... Now I realize it's Bills players that were dropping like flies, but maybe that's because we played the way we did? I don't know... I so believed that was the way to win that game that on the 4th and one when we got stopped late I was thinking...just kick the FG... It's that kind of game... I know what the analytics say... Just kick the FG and stop them... Anyway... Not saying I'm right because I'm an idiot... But still...lol -
I'm going with the Texans game being a very large wake up call. W - Steelers W - Bengals W - Pats W - Browns W - Philly W - Jets 13-4 - 5 seed (Pats win division at 13-4 )

It’s not ridiculous at all. People don’t make an arse outta yourself when it happens -

Will Josh Allen want to stick around for a rebuild?

Such a defeatist mindset. If I was Pegula, I’d remind Allen of a few things: - he wasn’t 1st or 2nd team All mountain west - he completed 52% of his passes as a rookie, one of lowest rates of any qb in the last 10 year - he had the same OC at the start of his career for 4 years, which never happens (Ej for instant has 1st time nfl OC Nate Hackett as his OC and qb coach his rookie year) - he played on teams with top 5 defenses - we traded a 1st for a top 10 wr - he has one of the biggest contracts in nfl history - the team spends to the cap - he is in every other commercial it’s weird how some of you act like we draft prime Brady as rookie. He was as raw as any top 10 qb in a long time. Allen owes Buffalo/ Bills as much as we owe him. This is sit in a corner of hotel room mentality. Why haha? Teams trade franchise qbs because they are completely washed or they are starting to be. And if it ever does happen, you rebuild your franchise like the Lions did with the Stafford trade. -

I don't think he finishes his career as a Bill, but we are YEARS away from that point. -

Forget not Occam's razor and its corollary -The Complexity Paradox “We are great at handling complexity until things get really, really complex.” -
Hopefully the movie will have some good suggestions for resolving the problems with the Bills' passing offense.

If they beat the Steelers, browns and jets it's like 99% right? I remember in 89 we had to beat the jets to get in, might be similar situation I think in 21 we had to beat the jets to win the division

NE has gotten better quicker than anyone anticipated. Miami was a head scratcher, but they wanted it more and we often wilt in the S Florida humidity. ATL was also a head scratcher, but I think their aggressive pass rush caused similar headaches as the Texans.

Silver lining, I don’t have to watch Brady’s offense tomorrow.

that's true. Kicking FGs should have been the strategy against that D. The Texans have been losing games 16-13 all year.

Josh Allen should call the Offensive Plays
DeepPass replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
If he can check-off at the line of scrimmage why can't he call the plays also? -
It must be a miracle …because they certainly don’t look like the second best O to me …regardless of what some stats may say .. Teams play different schedules …it’s not a like for like comparison across the league …

I always had Bills losing against the Texans , but not Miami and New England
